I' for one feel guilty of have fallen to all of the above. I feel so much frustration over so many of the information and it has gotten, as she states, very hard to listen to or to know what to believe. It is the plan I see now, to discourage and dishearten. It works, it gets to be overwhelming over time. But we must not be hard on ourselves for "falling", through the years we have learned that this is a war on the spiritual level, and they are fighting with all their might to get us to surrender. The harder and thougher they strike shows how scared they are of losing, SCARED being the key word, let us not be scared, lets just get up and continue our search, keep your heart being the guide and with some assistance ( Ha ha !) from our brain, even though it might fall sometimes into the traps. Thank you Avalon, thank you Exomatrix, to all of you guys that care enough to be here for all, to bring all of the information we all need. And to them: Bring it on!

Yes. Not only to discourage and dishearten, but to misinform, confuse, and stir up conflict between good-hearted people.

The real problem (I think) is that our firewalls are often down.

• We buy into silly stories without checking. (Easy to do! We always need to take the time to check things by cross-referencing)

• We're too quick to forward those silly stories, so they spread really fast sometimes.

• We tend to be intellectually lazy. To figure out what's true and what's not can occasionally take quite some work.
  
  Some people don't do that work, and just say "It's ALL a lie! NASA never tells the truth!" (etc etc). That's just silly, too. Disinfo is a mix of truth and lies, and it's usually 80% truth.
  
  Anyone in the CIA will tell you that 'hook' works best. The challenge is to figure out which 20% is the false bit.

That tells us that the alternative media is heavily infiltrated with paid assets on blogs, YouTube comments, forums, Facebook, and so on. It's the simplest thing to buy someone a laptop and pay them a stipend to create problems. Real good value for CIA money. Even one clever asset can create a host of problems for thousands of people. And there are probably thousands, working full-time.

The forum here is insulated, to a fair extent. The mods team is pretty able and vigilant, though it's wise for us not to say too much about the tools we use. The application process, though certainly not foolproof, is a pretty good starting point.

But despite all this, Richard Dolan said it perfectly in this 30 March 2016 interview with Jimmy Church (discussed here)

At least once a week there is an article on the MSN.com news and entertainment site, that highlights some, usually preposterous, "conspiracy theory", and then continues to ridicule conspiracy theorists. This is regular and consistent "program" if you will, for the MSN website.

Today's was a story about how a time traveller from the future went back in time to watch the Mike Tyson fight. The evidence is someone in the crowd using a device that look sort-of (but not really at all) a cell phone from ... I guess the future ... lol.

The device in question looks like an old style Casio digital camera from the 90's.

Now one would have to ask themselves ... is this newsworthy? Is it a worthy news article that claims that someone unknown and unnamed thinks that a time traveler went back in time to watch a Mike Tyson fight just because there's a shot of someone holding a camera in the crowd?

Is that worth repeating, for any news agency? I'd say "no", lol not at all ...this isn't even a conspiracy theory in my book. So that begs the question ... why is it there? Why does it exists? Cue Bono? And there's at least one of these every single week ...

I see the attempts to drive a big wedge between people who would consider that "conspiracy" is a real concept actually happening, and those who would rather believe what voices of "authority" say without question. The wedge is also being inserted directly into alternate truth circles ... obviously the old "divide and conquer" trick ... yawwwnnnn.

I have to remind myself constantly that not everyone was trained as a small child about subliminals, misdirection, propaganda, military counter-insurgency; it is all kind of the same thing, and it is not that hard to understand, but until you put those goodies in your basket, it's like wandering a hall of mirrors.

Since discrediting ops are still described as "easy to do", this type of training must be in very short supply. I would suggest studying methods of deception as soon as you learn how to read.

I had to smile when she put on her tin hat and spoofed "there were no planes on 9/11 it was all CGI!" It's a good point she makes. There are assets I'm sure who are paid to muddy the waters of truth with bogus theories (and no I'm not trying to subtly suggest the "no planes on 9/11" theory is a psyop - it 'may' be, or it may not be, but let's not digress). But on top of psyop operatives spreading fake news, let's not forget there are probably other secondary assets who are paid to endorse them (by agreeing with them, and 'liking' them).

Agreed for sure. If I may be so bold, I might add a couple more to the list.

*A lack of intelligence (rather forgetting to use our intelligence). It's actually more a lack of rational thought and plain common sense!

*A tendency to be simply unaware (this is not necessarily a flaw). It is a basic lack of awareness on the subject matter at its foundation. When someone already has at least a reasonable footing in the subject, has an existing knowledge-base to draw from, they have a practical background on which to build when presented with new information. He or she is able to tie threads together from previous knowledge/experience, and from that gather and cultivate a solid hypothesis. As an example, the Flat Earth. Those jumping on the band wagon of this theory and suddenly believing in it (as a good number seem to be), may probably have never read about, heard about, or even contemplated, the shape of the Earth before.

I like the lady's approach, she has perspicacity and insight-if you were a member of the 'inner circle' of the kabal, the government shopfront, the 'shadow power bloc' you would seek to discredit dangerous developments in the alternative community. In times previous to these the alternative community was easily dismissed as being 'lunatic fringe' and ideas characterized in the mainstream narrative as humorously dismissed extremism - but these days with the internet enabling global discourse the alternative ideas have reached a more challenging level. This is why the internet is being increasingly depicted as 'T.V 2.0' and large commercial projects streaming movies, mainstream documentary and the 'party line' are encouraged-so that people regard 'the internet' as being just another digital channel, an option for entertainment. Since the internet was never intended to be a public resource it has been a thorn in the power bloc's side-so the more they can get people to take it all for granted, the better.

Just inserting this here to back up what Bill is saying - Bill, you are 100% spot on, and I am saying this as an expert in Information Literacy and Information Science (which is the official, and well buried term in the mainstream, and is being systematically marginalized and altered so that these skills are inaccessible to the general public - you don't need a degree or college education to be information literate - anybody who can read can be - but the authorities would definitely prefer that the general public not be information literate). I could say much more about all this, but for now, I will leave it at that.

That discussion alone would warrant its own separate forum post. I would love to learn more of this and sure other members would to.
