    Default Solar Roadways are real?

This is a typical case which shows how a small group of people scams general public with "promising future technology" created by delusional minds.

This video contains real test data of the solar roadway.
    For free society!

I wonder if advances in piezoelectric technology coupled with solar technology for roadway would be more viable ? ... I think learning ways to utilize electricity more efficiently in all applications would also really help the viability of finding new ways to create it.

Just wondering rain, snow, ice, dirt... Sounds like socialism to me.

Lol ... Canadian Agreed -- most of Canada is covered in snow in winter, plows wouldn't play nice with it.

It's not a bad idea, it's just an impractical one... What a shame!!!

these are being installed on Route 66 right now, a small test area (visitor parking area and side walks).

pavement is a scam if you look at what it costs & how long it lasts....

I'd say this is less about generating power, and more about being a better method for roadways (the LED's and heating elements are worth it alone... if it generates enough power for just that & has a longer life span than asphalt I think its worth it).

I didn't check your link, target, but I assume ( ass, you, me, right, haha) this is about the photovoltaic paint that just came out.

Nope, it's 4x4x4 ft hexagons of recycled glass tiles with photovoltaic cells inside, LED's for signaling and heating units that keep ice off the road.
