Wildfires whipped through isolated communities in two states & left backcountry campers and
hikers stranded, requiring helicopters to airlift more than 140 to safety, authorities said.

About 40 wildfires were burning in California alone. Blazes were also reported in Utah, Nevada,

That skyline starting at 9 minutes 25 seconds into the video is so bizarre looking!
The bright white immediately along the horizon (which might be from the sun OR the fires!), then the strip of red (which is definitely due to the fires), then total blackness blanketing the rest of the sky, which must largely be due to the smoke, ash and dust.

I notice that the wildfires are decimating the forests of the West Coast. These would be the areas that people from Seattle, Portland, San Francisco and Los Angeles would flee into, if the situation in the cities deteriorated. It is also a source of locally produced livestock and food, which is now destroyed. Unfortunately, I feel the fires are part of a bigger plan to isolate the urban population on the coast, and keep them from moving about if some sort of military occupation occurs.. I hope I am wrong.

'Vicious little suckers': Massive clouds of mosquitoes kill hundreds of cattle in Louisiana after Hurricane Laura

    Joel Shannon
    USA TODAY
    Fri, 11 Sep 2020 11:42 UTC

Farmers in a five-parish area in Louisiana have probably lost 300 to 400 cattle

Swarms of mosquitoes have killed cows, deer, horses and other livestock in Louisiana after rain from Hurricane Laura led to an explosion in the pests' population.

Thousands of mosquitoes have attacked animals as large as bulls, draining their blood and driving the massive creatures to pace in summer heat until they were exhausted, according to a Louisiana State University AgCenter veterinarian, agent and press release.

While recent aerial spraying efforts have helped bring the outbreak of mosquitoes under control, residents and animals in a portion of the state faced clouds of the bloodsucking insects in the days after Laura made landfall as a Category 4 hurricane on Aug. 27.

Farmers near where the storm made landfall have probably lost 300 to 400 cattle, said Dr. Craig Fontenot, a large-animal veterinarian based in Ville Platte.

"They're vicious little suckers," he said.

Jeremy Hebert, a LSU AgCenter agent in Acadia Parish, told USA TODAY Thursday that residents along costal, marshy areas are accustomed to mosquitoes and expect the population to climb following a heavy rain. But the scale of this outbreak was much larger than Hebert expected: "I've never experienced anything like this."

The species of mosquito doesn't transmit human diseases easily, Christine Navarre, an extension veterinarian with LSU AgCenter, told USA TODAY on Thursday.

A swarm of vicious little suckers

But people in the area needed to take precautions at the peak of the outbreak, Hebert said. He remembers wearing long shirts and pants to cover skin and sprinting to his barn to avoid the clouds of mosquitoes. If he went outside with skin exposed, the insects quickly covered his skin.

"As soon as you would walk outside, your legs would turn black from the sheer amount of mosquitoes," Hebert said.

While humans are able to cover up, stay inside or swat the insects away, livestock were virtually defenseless against the swarms.

The livestock "can't get away from (the mosquitoes) ... they pace and they pace," Navarre said. Some of those that survived may face ongoing heath problems like weight loss or susceptibility to disease.

A deer rancher lost about 30 of his 110 animals

The insects remain a big problem in Calcasieu and Jefferson Davis parishes, though spraying has reduced the severity a bit, said Jimmy Meaux, AgCenter agent for those parishes.

Livestock deaths from mosquitoes aren't a new phenomenon. Fontenot said they also occurred after Hurricane Lili in 2002 and Hurricane Rita in 2005. Florida and Texas have had similar problems after hurricanes, he said.

Hmm, and that comes just weeks after Bill Gates was talking about releasing millions of genetically-modified mosquitoes. Just curious is all...

Florida says ‘this is fine’ to release of genetically modified mosquitoes

Has science found a way to cut down on mosquito-born diseases — or will life find a way to break free from human meddling, a la Jurassic Park?

That’s the question hanging over a recent decision by state regulators in Florida, which would allow the biotech company Oxitec to unleash hundreds of millions of genetically modified male mosquitoes in the Florida Keys. The lab-altered, patented insects are members of Aedes aegypti, the species of mosquito that spreads diseases such as yellow fever, malaria and chikungunya. However, they’ve been genetically altered to artificially reduce future mosquito populations.

It sounds like a bit of mad science but it’s all about love, actually.

The plan is to unleash millions of genetically modified males so they can hook up with all the lady mosquitoes and produce artificially weak offspring that never grow up, thereby reducing the overall population. Male mosquitoes don’t drink human blood, so the influx of flying fellas theoretically wouldn’t add to the problem.

Advocates say it’s a new population control strategy that could save millions of human lives around the world while getting rid of some annoying and dangerous bloodsuckers. Mosquitoes are among the deadliest animals in the world according to the World Health Organization, which attributed 438,000 deaths to the insects through malaria alone in 2015.

Critics have described it as a risky experiment with too many unknown factors, especially when it comes to introducing genetically-modified creatures into a natural ecosystem.

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has also worked with Oxitec to develop something known as a “gene drive” — a genetic modification meant to spread through multiple generations of mosquitoes to leave them sterile or unable to spread certain diseases.

This short video (which also belongs here) of Dr. Rashid Buttar (who usually talks about vaccines, but is obviously very clued in on many subjects) is about how technologies like 5G, which broadcast electromagnetic frequencies and microwaves all over the planet, may not just be affecting lifeforms on planet Earth, but also the planet itself, manifesting in disruptions to the weather, the natural magnetic grid--the very natural pulse of the Earth.
Although 5G has not yet gone planetwide to the extent to which the planners intend, that is in the process, and thousands of 5G broadcasting satellites are already encircling the globe.

( Not sure how this relates to Trump or vaccines, which he also mentions, but hopefully that has been explained elsewhere. However, that video is from 3 months ago, and might as well have been 3 years ago, the way events are amping up. I wish I could understand what Trump is doing re the vaccine--trying to rush it through, with the military involved. etc. Input on that would be most welcome!)

It Will Happen By DECEMBER!! Dr Rashid Buttar
