I like SOTT's monthly summaries because they give a good overview, but there's so much more devastation by extreme weather that it only shows a tip of the iceberg

April 2020 : Earth Changes Summary

    Published 6th May 2020

April 2020 brought us some chilly Earth Changes surprises, from record snow in parts of the US and Europe, to huge hail in Asia and the Middle East.

An arctic system blasted Canada, the Midwest, Northeast and Southern US, causing power outages in Manitoba, and Main, leaving hundreds of thousands without power. Snow records were broken in Colorado (30 inches), South Dakota (15 inches), and Iowa (11 inches).

Snow also fell in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, for the first time in 26 years... in Spring!

Global food production not only has been disrupted by the economy-killing plandemic, severe cold and frost also destroyed crops across Europe and the US.

Hail also got nasty around the globe this month, killing 5 people, ravaging crops, and damaging 6,000 homes in Vietnam. Hailstorms also left 4,2000 people homeless in Tripura, India, and covered in white parts of Saudi Arabia, Iran, and China... with added floods to the mix.

Severe storms, hail, tornadoes, and strong winds ripped through parts of the Midwest and South US, causing damage to many homes, especially in Indiana and Arkansas.

While all this water got dumped around the world, the Czech Republic is still facing the worst drought in 500 years.

All this and more in this month's SOTT Earth Changes Summary.

This is such an interesting storm!

First, it's an extremely early storm, being "the earliest third named tropical storm system on record in the Atlantic basin."

Second, it's a "cross-over" storm, meaning it developed in the Atlantic from the leftovers of a hurricane from the Pacific.

Third, it's remnants are fixing to combine with another storm system "coming from the west to form one giant cyclone."

I think it's taking its cues from COVID19, and just refusing to fade away.

Why Cristobal is a rare 'crossover' storm
Quote Cristobal developed from the leftovers of Tropical Storm Amanda, the first named storm of the Pacific hurricane season. Amanda pummeled areas of Central America during the final weekend of May, causing at least 26 deaths and forcing at least 8,000 people to be evacuated in El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala.

Amanda appeared to wrap up off the coast of Guatemala, but then it moved inland over the country, which is “rare to see … let alone during late May,” Kottlowski said.

“Once Amanda moved inland, the lower-level part of the storm fell apart, but the upper-level part survived and moved to the western Yucatan,” Kottlowski said. “Cristobal’s development was associated with a large counter-clockwise wind pattern referred to as a gyre. The Central American Gyre (CAG) is more common during the late summer and fall season.”
Cristobal to merge with new storm system after lashing South
Quote Tropical Storm Cristobal could soon renew its strength by uniting with another storm system coming from the west to form one giant cyclone, forecasters say.

After drenching much of the South, forecasters now expect the remnants of Cristobal to bring fierce winds, heavy rain and thunderstorms to much of the Midwest by Tuesday.

A very strong storm system sweeping out from the Rocky Mountains is expected to meld with Cristobal in the next couple of days, said Greg Carbin, who oversees forecasts at the Weather Prediction Center in College Park, Maryland.

May 2020 : Earth Changes Summary

    Published 8th June 2020

As the Sun enters a 'lockdown' period, Earth is charging up and responding accordingly. This time, even mainstream science said that this solar minimum could cause freezing weather, famine, increased earthquakes, and catastrophic volcanic eruptions... and the latest Earth Changes are pointing to that.

But decreased activity is not the only aspect to highlight, as the Sun unleashed the biggest flare since 2017 on May 29. Something that can get more dangerous for satellites and other technological devices if our magnetosphere continues to weaken.

Funny enough, the George Floyd protests and riots coincided with this solar flare...a human and cosmic connection?

Some parts of the northern hemisphere experienced a return to winter... one month away from summer, while early snow and cold records were hit in the southern hemisphere when winter has not yet "officially" begun.

A rare May snowstorm triggered by a polar vortex whipped through the northeast of the US, with parts of Maine and New Hampshire receiving as much as 10 inches of snow, and near white-out conditions in upstate New York.

Greece, Germany, Turkey, and Russia also got their share of unseasonable snow, but Ayubia National Park in Pakistan was covered in snow for the first time in a century, and Australia ended up with 40 inches of snow during the coldest start of May ever recorded.

An absurd amount of water poured down all over the world in May, causing devastating floods and landslides. Kenia, India, Oman and Central America where the most affected with hundreds of deaths, and thousands displaced.

Cyclone Amphan left a path of destruction in Odisha and West Bengal, India, leaving hundreds of families without homes, and thousands without electricity.

Unusually strong tornadoes, multiple twisters at once - where it's not common - and big hail also left a path of destruction in the US, Mexico, and parts of Europe and Asia.

An last but not least: India, Pakistan, and East Africa suffered their worst locust attack in 27 years, leaving millionaire losses in crops, and widespread damage in vegetation. Combined with the unnecessary food losses caused by the lockdown, we might be looking at millions more going hungry in the not too distant future.

Electrical activity in the atmosphere increased this month too. Lightning strikes killed people, cattle, and amazed millions. Just Washington registered more than 87,000 lightning strikes in one day... nearly 23 times the annual average!

Ecuadorian Volcano Eruption Leaves Several Cities Covered In Ash

    Published 10th June 2020

The eruption of a volcano in Ecuador's Amazon region left several cities covered in ash on Tuesday, fueling concerns of a potential health impact as the South American nation slowly emerges from a brutal coronavirus outbreak.

The Sangay volcano has had moderate eruptions for over a year that have had little impact because of its remote location, but a recent change in wind patterns has pushed ash toward the coast and affected areas including the largest city, Guayaquil.

"The ash comes out of the Sangay volcano and spreads into the Guayas province, and we see a quantity of ash that is arriving near Guayaquil," Benjamin Bernard of the Geophysical Institute of Ecuador told reporters, referring to the province where Guayaquil is located.

The institute said it expects minor volcanic eruptions to continue in the coming days but does not expect a major eruption.

I saw one like that in South of Thailand about a year ago, it was forming in the water, after about 20 minutes it just gonna without harming anything. The weather was raining and quite windy. Beautiful formation by the way.
