Strange days, when the Sahara is colder than home. Where I am in the Uk, this Christmas day is set to be warmest ever. It's probably to many people's liking I'm sure, but not all. Personally, I'm not a fan. I like a healthy dose of winter weather.

The above ^^ is the YouTube text description. Towards the end of the video, at 10:00, David DuByne, who's normally grounded, fact-oriented, composed and focused, kind of loses it for a second or two and speculates that the immense, organized effort to suppress all this hard information seems to imply a global depopulation agenda.

Now the real question is, how fast will the fear porn machine switch gears?

My bet is the "global warming" masquerading as "climate change" will continue for a while longer yet while contradicting reports like this continue to come out.

This winters already turning out to be record breaking in the US.. There area I grew up in just destroyed a record for snow fall set in 1919.

The further away from the equator the more "exciting" it will be.

It's hard to see it as just greed alone; I can forgive that type of speculation (though I don't agree).

Heavy Snow and Arctic Temperatures Slam Southern Europe:

In Italy, sub-freezing temperatures were blamed for the deaths of a half-dozen homeless people. Heavy snow and high winds resulted in re-routed flights, delayed ferries, canceled trains and closed roads, media reported.

With no indications of a letup, some schools in southern Italy were ordered not to open on Monday because of the meter (yard) of snow already had buried some areas, the ANSA news agency reported.

The chill didn't spare sunny Rome. The fountains in St. Peter's Square froze overnight and dripped icicles instead.

Temperatures dropped to -7 degrees Celsius (19 degrees Fahrenheit) in Greece's second largest city of Thessaloniki, and -10 degrees Celsius (14 degrees Fahrenheit) was expected Sunday, according to the Norwegian Meteorological Institute.

Several Greek islands, otherwise known for their sunny and warm weather, were blanketed in snow. Roads were closed temporarily across large swathes of northern Greece due to snow and ice.

Heavy snow also crippled Istanbul, and national carrier Turkish Airlines canceled more than 650 flights. The state-run Anadolu news agency reported that even the Bosporus Strait — which runs through Istanbul and is one of Europe's busiest shipping lanes — was closed and ferry service halted.

Turkey's private Dogan news agency reported that one of the main highways in Istanbul practically turned into a parking lot after drivers deserted their cars Friday night to walk home rather than battle the gusting snow and slippery roads.

A pair of delivery men whose truck was parked on a side street made the best of the situation, engaging in a snowball fight in between pushing their loads through mounds of snow that built up at the roadside.

In northern Europe, where residents are accustomed to subzero temperatures and snowy winters, police in Denmark warned about icy and slippery roads after dozens of minor traffic accidents.

Temperatures in Latvia were forecast to drop to -30 degrees Celsius (-22 degrees Fahrenheit) late Saturday, the Baltic News Agency said.

So sad to see the tree go! I remember visiting there in the early 1960's. Just watched the video of the snow in Europe...unimaginable!! Especially for the poor people who aren't used to dealing with it. Guess we had all better brace for this Little Ice Age coming!

After I watched Leonardo DiCaprio's recent documentary "Before The Flood" I took an hour to look into a few things and then summarized them on a blog post. It was amazing how easy it was to take the documentary apart. At the risk of being arrested and sent to a re-education camp for being a climate-change denier, here's an excerpt from that post -- note that I never say the climate isn't changing. I just conclude DiCaprio and his cohorts in the climate-change secular religion have woefully oversimplified things.

"I do find it funny how the secular climate religion conveniently had to change its name from 'global warming' to 'climate change.' I guess after the high priests had already given hell-and-brimstone sermons on the skyrocketing temperatures to come and the rising seas that would soon inundate your cul-de-sac, they realized that their hyped doom and gloom might not play out as quickly as advertised - or at all. What would they tell the faithful? The fact may be that Mother Earth has some tricks yet in store for puny humans. Yes, it's just as likely there will be ice melts, and those melts will turn ice into water and all of that will dump in the oceans, and all of that fresh water will change the salinity levels of the oceans, and that will modify ocean currents, and that will mean far less warm water flowing into northern and southern latitudes from the equatorial regions, and that could trigger an ice age, and that could reform large ice sheets over continents -- just like the Earth has done repeatedly for millions of years. And ironically enough, the next ice age will use up a lot of water in all of that new ice, and that new ice will be produced by evaporation from the warming-- which means global warming might be only the trigger for a coming ice age that will actually lower sea levels, just like in the past. I once read an article by a scientist who said when the Earth goes into an ice age, it's like a person catching a cold -- chills and fever.

What humans can't accept is that the Earth has its own ideas about how it will handle situations, including us. The Earth has self-correcting systems and cycles in place fine-tuned over billions of years. Too much of one thing eventually triggers a swing the other way. By our fossil-burning actions we may only be nudging the Earth into doing something a bit earlier than the natural flow of what was going to happen anyway, but that's all. Human civilization developed in an atypical period of stable climate. Larger natural cycles will eventually return to typical patterns. The relatively quiet 12,000 years of stable global climate may have run its atypical course. This is not just caused by man-made fossil-fuel burning. This is the natural order of things."

Exclamation Re: Weird, wild weather: floods, freak storms, giant hail, record lows, all over the world

The great thing about Avalon is we look at topics from both sides...

Climate Change is real, the question is whether it is being caused by humans.

Understanding Koch is the Chemtrails company that will profit 100s of Millions from the Russian arctic fracking operation makes the answer quite obvious to me. Did you know Koch Bros get paid royalties from every Fracking operation in the world for creating the process?

Warming the poles to set up fracking operations is dangerous, mother nature has no chance to correct itself.

2011 and 2016 are record low ice levels in the Arctic, repeating 5 year cycles of warmth?

Who is paying more for internet trolls, Trump's team of warmongering oil men, or Koch's?

Climate change denial is protecting the ones engineering these changes.

If man created the problem, then we should be able to fix it. If it wasn't man, then what is changing in the Universe to cause it?

It is far easier to deny and ignore than to find answers...

"LONDON (Reuters) - A release of methane in the Arctic could speed the melting of sea ice and climate change with a cost to the global economy of up to $60 trillion over coming decades, according to a paper published in the journal Nature. (Scientific American is part of Nature Publishing Group.)

Researchers at the University of Cambridge and Erasmus University in the Netherlands used economic modeling to calculate the consequences of a release of a 50-gigatonne reservoir of methane from thawing permafrost under the East Siberian Sea.

They examined a scenario in which there is a release of methane over a decade as global temperatures rise at their current pace.

They also looked at lower and slower releases, yet all produced "steep" economic costs stemming from physical changes to the Arctic.

"The global impact of a warming Arctic is an economic time-bomb," said Gail Whiteman, an author of the report and professor of sustainability, management and climate change at the Rotterdam School of Management, part of Erasmus University.

"In the absence of climate-change mitigation measures, the model calculates that it would increase mean global climate impacts by $60 trillion," said Chris Hope, a reader in policy modeling at the Cambridge Judge Business School, part of the University of Cambridge.
That approaches the value of the global economy, which was around $70 trillion last year.
The costs could be even greater if other factors such as ocean acidification were included, the study said, or reduced to some $37 trillion if action is taken to lower emissions.

As much as 80 percent of the costs would likely be borne by developing countries experiencing more extreme weather, flooding, droughts and poorer health as the Arctic melt affects the global climate, the paper said.

Methane is a greenhouse gas usually trapped as methane hydrate in sediment beneath the seabed. As temperatures rise, the hydrate breaks down and methane is released from the seabed, mostly dissolving into the seawater.

But if trapped methane were to break the sea surface and escape into the atmosphere, it could "speed up sea-ice retreat, reduce the reflection of solar energy and accelerate the melting of the Greenland ice sheet," the study said.

It said that could bring forward the date at which the global mean temperature rise exceeds 2 degrees Celsius by between 15 and 35 years - to 2035 if no action is taken to curb emissions and to 2040 if enough action is taken to have a 50 percent chance of keeping the rise below 2 degrees.

Scientists have said the rise in global average temperatures this century needs to stay below 2 degrees Celsius to prevent devastating climate effects such as crop failure and melting glaciers.

However, the International Energy Agency warned last month that the world is on course for a rise of 3.6 to 5.3 degrees Celsius citing record high global carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions last year.

The Arctic has oil and gas reserves which Lloyd's of London has estimated could draw investment of up to $100 billion within a decade. Environmentalists warn Arctic drilling is too risky and could have devastating consequences for the region.". https://www.scientificamerican.com/a...ould-cost-60t/

They are fracking the whole arctic seabed, this release could all happen within a year as fracking punches holes in the protective earth holding it down.

    No one is complaining...

Why isn't the media screaming about this?

Oh yeah, Climate change is nothing to worry about, imagine if the clock moves up from 2035, to 2020... That is how serious this is...

They will just blame it on Nibiru...

If they were interested in energy instead of killing off 95% of the planet, remove the Methane before starting the fracking.

50-gigatonne reservoir of methane from thawing permafrost under the East Siberian Sea could be used to power electric plants, enough to power earth for a few thousand years.

This video is Chemtrails 101 for those new to the idea, this will give you a complete education.

We aren't done with storms yet, take a look at this Pacific map, t he blue are rain clouds, seems like each is bigger than the last...

This moisture is coming down from the Arctic instead of up from the tropics or hawaii

This next monster storm hits us Thurday-Sunday and can expect 2-10 inches. The Majority swung north, Canada is getting hammered, it will bury the Midwest, get your shopping done...

Getting cold up in the far north... I thought the arctic vortex shifting would give alaska a warmer summer.

Quote 50 below recorded in Interior as cold snap settles on Alaska
Fairbanks and Anchorage woke up Wednesday to an early taste of an expected cold snap this week, as temperatures plunged to 50 degrees below zero in some areas of the Interior.

The National Weather Service office in Fairbanks issued special weather statements Wednesday morning for the eastern Interior and western Interior warning of similar temperatures in valleys across the region and rising to only about 20 below on hilltops or in coastal areas.

Morning lows for the western Interior included 47 below in Fairbanks, 49 below at Fort Wainwright, 51 below at Eielson Air Force Base and Nenana, and 54 below in Tanana. In the east, lows ranged from 44 below in Ambler and Shungnak to 45 below in Galena, 47 below in Kaltag and 51 below in McGrath, Huslia and Nikolai.
Christopher Cox, the lead meteorologist at the Fairbanks office, said the region's overnight forecast called for temperatures in some outlying areas in "the high (minus) 50s" that might approach 60 below. He discounted Interior reports on social media late Wednesday morning of 60-below readings, saying they were likely based on electronic thermometers that become unreliable at 40 below.

"We've got thermometers that are reading 60 below, but they're inaccurate," Cox said. "We're going to be close (to that temperature) in some of the outlying spots, but not for Fairbanks."

In Southcentral Alaska, NWS meteorologist Bob Clay said the coldest Southcentral communities Wednesday included Talkeetna at 29 below, Wasilla at 27 below and Palmer at 20 below. Temperatures in the Anchorage Bowl were as low as the minus teens; Eagle River was at about 16 below.

Jim Brader, a Fairbanks-based NWS meteorologist, said temperatures fell quickly as the cold snap arrived Tuesday, hitting 30 below there by afternoon and 40 below by evening. He said relatively warmer weather should prevail beginning Friday due to cloud cover being brought into the area by two storms.

"There's one in the Gulf of Alaska that's moving into the Yukon territory tonight, and that's moving some clouds into the area along the border — we have another system in the Bering Sea that's starting to spread some clouds into the Yukon-Kuskokwim (Delta)," Brader said. "By the weekend we'll be somewhere in the 0 to 20 below region, which is generally the norm for this time of year."
Clay said cold is still in the Anchorage forecast for the next few days, as well as for much of Southcentral.

"We'll have a cold trough that's moving through tonight; it'll still be fairly cold Thursday morning," Clay said. "We're expecting 14 below at the airport, probably in the minus 20s elsewhere."

Southcentral should see the same relief from those lows as the Interior, due to the shifting statewide weather patterns.
