Default David Attenborough :The Aquatic Ape Elaine Morgan BBC 4 // Dogon,Sirius & merfolk myth or memory ?

I just came across the aquatic ape information and it surprised me I did not know
about it,though it seems vaguely familiar so I may have heard it in passing or
noticed an article without reading it. I posted it on another thread after finding a
vid on...5 Theories On The Creation Of Humans
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=11hJal7qAtU

I'm not suggesting these theories and articles and vids below are directly linked but
certainly opens your mind and makes you think imo.......

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The aquatic Ape seems very feasible to me and could be part of our evolution progress
and ties into some other myths and theories.....The Et theory that we are not native
to this planet also is interesting.

Radio On- Aquatic Ape Hypothesis–Radio4- David Attenborough part 1 & 2.

    Scars of Evolution is an Excellent Radio 4 {UK} BBC two part radio series {Joined}
presented by Sir David Attenborough looking at the history and current status {2008}of
the 'aquatic ape hypothesis' first proposed 45 years ago by the late Sir Alister Hardy.
The series starts by looking at the history of the AAH and other competing theories of
human origins - and at the prevailing ideas about early human evolution in 1960 when
Hardy first raised the tentative question: Was man more aquatic in the past?
Programme one considers Raymond Dart's Taung Child discovery and the ensuing
savannah theory of human origins, as popularised by Robert Ardrey and Desmond
Morris; the reaction to Hardy's radical alternative and to Elaine Morgan's bestseller:
    Descent of Woman.

The second programme looks at the evidence that has accumulated in the last 5 - 10
years which seems to be driving the anthropological herd inexorably down to the
water's edge. It includes reports on brain evolution, highlighting the essential fatty acids
and nutrients that can only be sourced in the marine food chain; the global coastal
    migrations of early hominids, including major water crossings 1 million years ago;
diving response and voluntary breath-control as semi-aquatic pre-adaptation for speech
and some new and intriguing research findings that seem to indicate that water-births
may be a very ancient human adaptation indeed.

    Hi
    Interesting Finds.
    But first of all
What is the meaning of the word human?
    Who are humans?
Did humans have 1 origin or are there different origins?
    Once we answer these questions
I believe we will know ourselves
    and what our ancestors were.
    Thanks!

Hi Lyn nice questions, for me it depends from what angle you want to come from.
There are many theories. I tend to go with the extra terrestrial ones The Booteens,
The Annunnaki , Lyrans , Sirians , pleiadians and possibly others and we are hybrids.

Though our higher eternal non - physical being is only having experiences in these
physical bodies. Which could be made up of different DNA input over the eons.

But where these physical bodies evolved from is interesting , they were formed
from the particular world they inhabit which was another of the theories from
the creation vid in # 1. Did we evolve on another planet and were brought here.

The aquatic theory may only be one phase of evolution on earth or some other planet?
and there may be other explanations. There is certainly many theories and speculation.

Humans do NOT come from Earth – and sunburn, bad backs and pain during labour prove it, expert claims.
A U.S. ecologist says conditions such as bad backs and sunburn suggest humans did not evolve alongside
other life on Earth. In a new book, Dr Ellis Silver says aliens put humans our planet as recently as tens of
thousands of years ago.He suggests the Earth might be a prison planet, since humans seem to be a naturally
violent species and are here until we learn to behave ourselves

A U.S. ecologist has claimed that humans are not from Earth but were put on the planet by aliens tens of thousands
of years ago.Dr Ellis Silver points to a number of physiological features to make his case for why humans did not
evolve alongside other life on Earth, in his new book. They range from humans suffering from bad backs - which
he suggests is because we evolved in a world with lower gravity – to getting too easily sunburned and having
difficulty giving birth.Dr Ellis says that while the planet meets humans’ needs for the most part, it does not perhaps
serve the species’ interests as well as the aliens who dropped us off imagined.

In his book, HUMANS ARE NOT FROM EARTH: A SCIENTIFIC EVALUATION OF THE EVIDENCE, the ecologist writes
the human race has defects that mark it of being ‘not of this world’.

‘Mankind is supposedly the most highly developed species on the planet, yet is surprisingly unsuited and ill-equipped
for Earth's environment: harmed by sunlight, a strong dislike for naturally occurring foods, ridiculously high rates of
chronic disease, and more,’ he told Yahoo.Dr Ellis says that humans might suffer from bad backs because they evolved
on a world with lower gravity. He also says that it is strange that babies’ heads are so large and make it difficult for
women to give birth, which can result in fatalities of the mother and infant.

    Evidence Ancient Aliens Planned Humanity

    Evidence Ancient Aliens Planned Humanity
    Published on 7 Jan 2015

Was earth visited in the past by Ancient Aliens flying UFOs around and telling there where to
build their cities....perhaps hoping that one day in the future we would put together the clues?
An uncanny and what seems to be a planned alignment of a multitude of ancient archeological
sites around Earth strongly points towards humans of the past being guided, globally, and over
many millennia by some sort of higher intelligence. Personally, my mind was absolutely blown
once I manually connected all the sites on Google Earth myself, which is exactly what I’m about
to do for you. At the end of the video, I expect your mind to be blown just as mine was. I also
encourage you to try this out for yourself in Google Earth and replicate my results. Before we
begin, please forgive me for butchering some of these names.Nearly all of these sites are
considered what is known as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, sites that are of extreme special
    cultural or physical significance.

    1) Easter Island:

We’re going to start off with Easter Island, which is home to the mysterious Moai statues which
were created around 800 years ago for reasons that still remain unknown. A total of 887 monolithic
stone Moai statues have been counted.

    2) Nazca Lines:
The Nazca Lines are mysterious giant glyphs carved into the ground in the Nazca Desert of Peru.
They were thought to be built around 1600 years ago - no one knows why they are there as they
can only be seen from the sky...why would anyone do that when flight hadn't been invented yet?

    3) Machu Picchu:
Machu Piccu was built around 600 years ago at the height of the Incan Empire and allegedly as a
means to honor a "sacred landscape." If you havn't heard of it before, it's a city literally built on
top of a mountain by hand….with rocks sometimes weighing as much as 40 tons.

    4) Tassili n'Ajjer
Tassili n'Ajjer is a range of mountains in Algeria in the Sahara Desert. It contains some 15,000
ancient cave drawings some of which are up to 10,000 years old. Some of the carvings are a bit
    strange as well.

    5) Persepolis
Persepolis is the ancient capital of Persia. It was built around 2500 years ago.

    6) Khajuraho Group of Monuments
The Khajuraho Group of Monuments are 85 special temples to honor Hindu gods built around
1000 years ago. They were allegedly built in this area as it is an area where quote “the gods
love to play” according to local legend. The temples are dedicated to various Hindu gods such
as Shiva, Vishnu, Ganesha, and Jain Tithanks.

    7) The Oasis at Siwa
The Oasis at Siwa is estimated to be around 4,600 years old..and many believe it could be much
older. It is famous for being the home of the Oracle of Amun. Amun was an Egyptian Diety.
Alexander the Great believed that his divinity was a result of his visit to this oracle.

    8) The Pyramids of Giza
I'm sure you've heard of the Pyramids of Giza before. They were estimated to have been constructed
    around 4,600 years ago.

    9) Mohenjo Daro
Mohenjo Daro was built in around 4600 years ago. It is part of the ancient Indus Valley Civilization.
The name literally translates to the Mound of the Dead. It is thought to be one of the world's earliest
    major urban settlements.

    10) Angkor Wat
Angkor Wat was built around 1000 years ago and was dedicated to the god Vishnu. According to a 13th
Century Chinese traveler, it was allegedly believed that the temple was contructed in only one night by
an architect of divine power. Now let’s complete our journey by connecting the final destination to our
    original one, Easter Island.

Once we zoom out….do you see a pattern? ALL of these sites line up on the same line around the Earth.
The line is, except for a few very minor deviations that may be due to the Earth slightly shifting over the
many millenia these sites were constructed as well as perhaps partial user error on my part mapping these
out…..perfect. It almost looks like an equator. The probability of this occuring by chance is basically zero.

Why do all these ancient and quite important sites line up on the same line on Earth? Was someone guiding
the construction of all these ancient sites? Why are so many if not all of the sites related to something divine
    ….and what was that divinity?

In order to orchestrate such a thing, these civilizations would have somehow had to have made contact with
each other across the space of the entire planet as well as over the course of several millenia in addition to
being able to basically see the Earth from space in order to create such an uncanny alignment.

These arn't the only sites that line up either, there's quite a few more sites that line up as well as you can
see here. I only cut some out for the sake of brevity. Once again I encourage you to try this out for yourself.

Also, if you know of any mysteries you’d like me to cover in upcoming videos, leave a comment below or send me a message on Youtube.

How 13th-Century “Mermaid Bones” Came to Be Displayed in a Japanese Temple

According to legend, the ningyo washed ashore on the Japanese island of Kyushu in 1222

    By Swapna Krishna

    smithsonian.com
    February 16, 2017

In Japan, mermaids are not the conventionally attractive creatures that they have been
depicted as in Disney movies. Called ningyo, Wu Mingren at Ancient Origins writes, the
fish-like creatures vary in appearence, often said to have pointy teeth, and sometimes,
menacing horns. They also are purported to have mystical abilities.

Today, the “bones” of a 13th-century ningyo are on display at Ryuguji temple in Fukuoka,
reports Shinjiro Sadamatsu at The Asahi Shimbun.

But how did its bones get there?

According to legend, on April 14, 1222, a mermaid washed ashore in Hakata Bay, on the
Japanese island of Kyushu. After a shaman declared the mermaid a good omen for the
nation, its bones were then buried at the Ukimido temple, which people took to calling
Ryūgū-jō, which in Japanese folklore translates to the undersea palace of the dragon god.

Many believe that what Japanese fishermen and seamen perceived to be mermaids, or
ningyo, were actually dugong. Dugong are large sea mammals that live in the warm
coastal waters; they are related to (and resemble) the manatee. They generally travel
alone or in pairs and can remain underwater for up to six minutes at a time.

It’s possible that the specific Ryuguji temple bones came from a finless porpoise
(neophocaena phocaenoides). These creatures have no dorsal fin (hence their name).
    Finless porpoises swim off the coast of Japan and in the area of Fukuoka Prefecture;
if one washed ashore in 1222, it’s not a far stretch to think the locals could have
    mistook it for a mermaid.

During the Edo period, between 1772 and 1781, the bones of the temple’s mermaid
were removed from their resting place, and visitors to the temple were able to partake
of water in which the mermaid bones had been soaked. At the time, people claimed
that soaking in the bones could protect bathers from epidemics.

Today, six of its bones remain at the temple, which is now officially called the Ryuguji
temple. The bones can be seen by appointment, and they appear smooth and glossy,
