What you might think of Putin, he is speaking the truth...what he is saying become painfully apparent after the murder of Gaddafi....but not apparent to anyone in government in the Unites States apparently. Hillary appears to be having a little flash as she was talking the other day about the US losing the propaganda war. She is late and doesn't see the extent of it.

While watching this video, A few things became very clear to me. Vladimir Putin is powerful. He is also charismatic and well spoken.
You can tell he is a real student of history.. He could be the Antichrist.

yikes, u have to be a student of history to be an antichrist _
i would say not. u have to be so to see through the bull , or veil of apparent push pull
maybe the usa would have more of those would they disgard the current purview of politics , not even hil would notice to soon cause she is in the wave of maintaining the perception, ..we should eventually even ourselves out and come more to a consentuious world government.

Thank you Jacko for your effort in keeping us all informed, it is much appreciated i assure you.

Putin expressed some KEY words in his speach. He seemed to be looking at the bigger picture. For example at the beginning of video 1 he says.

    Quote:

    1. Economic security and developing a dialogue between " CIVILIZATIONS ". ( Not countries)

    2. This " UNIVERSAL " indivisible character of security.

    3. He used the word "Sovereign" a few times, and "Sovereign states" also. ( Has he been listening to Drake ? )

    4. To prevent a new area of confrontation, Especially in the " OUTER SPACE "

    5. Star wars is no longer a fantasy, It is a reality.

    6. The "New world order" line was dropped in there also. ( Shame )

I give him credit for standing up to the USA and European Cabal, But this does not make him sincere and trustworthy.

    We shall see.

    Peace

Hmm...as usual Mr. Putin is full of fancy words, for a minute there I thought he was visited by a compassionate angel. Fortunately I had the privilege to have lived under the communist regime and now under the capitalist/fascist regime and with the life experiences I gathered over the years I dont expect any of these leaders/puppets, with the only difference of speaking in a different language, to provide us with a prosperous and secure future. Canada, US and MExico has already signed the security and prosperity partnership, so maybe Russia feels being left out of it or something.

Secondly, Russia and US do not need to continue building nuclear weapons any longer and Putin knows that, nuclear weapons are for children to play with. They have better plans for us on a gloabal scale, direct free energy weapons have unlimited potential and they sure wont be used to keep us any safer. I think these weapons will be used on us to keep us in line.
Cilka - Thankyou for your comments,

There is nothing like hearing the 'Truth' from those who have lived through it...

Myself, I cannot honestly say whether or not Putin has seen the 'Light' through the error of his ways &/or he thinks Russia is being alienated or left out of the BIG picture..?

All I can say is I'll watch these developments with interest and comment accordingly...

    Rgs,

    Jack

Russia promised to launch the most spectacular peace movement to lull us into complacency then attack and crush us with an iron fist. Putin is a politician and a man of power. He will say whatever is expedient to make himself and his cause look wise and demoralize his opponents. Actions speak a hell of a lot louder than words and the iron fist of Mother Russia is stll as strong as ever. Just ask the people escaping it.

I think most Russians who flee the country do this because of economic reasons, just like the Polish, Ukranians, Georgians, Bulgarians, Hungarians do, there are a lot of them here in Holland as well, trying to make a decent living and just like the Turks, Morrocans, Dutch Antillians and people from the other former colonies( often does not work now, things are not as great here as they seem to be at this particular time).

And on the Putin for president i must strangly enough say i agree, for some odd reason i see him in my minds eye kicking in some doors in person instead of sending someone else to do the job for him, he is not some actor. I do not like people who kick in doors and use to much force in general but he looks like he gets sh1t done and thats something i admire in a person.

    Default 'Pussy Riot' against Putin..!

Intellectuals urge Kremlin to free punks

Dozens of Russian intellectuals have signed an open letter calling on the Kremlin to release feminist punk rockers who face up to seven years in jail for staging a prank prayer against President Vladimir Putin.

Three members of the Pussy Riot band were arrested after their February prank prayer at Moscow's Christ the Savior cathedral, in which they asked Mother Mary to deliver Russia from Putin's return to the Kremlin for a third term.

The letter released today and signed by at least 112 writers, film stars and rock musicians says that the upcoming trial would divide Russian society.

Three of the band members are charged with "hooliganism", while Kremlin-controlled media lambasts them for "blasphemy" and disrespect to the Russian Orthodox Church, the country's largest.

    ***UPDATE***

Outrage as Pussy Riot members jailed

    17 Aug 2012

The members of Pussy Riot await their fate in a glass cage inside a Moscow courtroom. The judge said in the verdict that the three band members "committed hooliganism driven by religious hatred''. Source: AP

A MOSCOW judge has sentenced each of three members of the provocative punk band Pussy Riot to two years in prison on hooliganism charges following a trial that has drawn international outrage.

The sentence comes amid a wave of protests around the world in support of the feminist rockers.

The judge said in the verdict that the three band members "committed hooliganism driven by religious hatred'' and offended religious believers.

As the judge handed down her sentence, cries of "shame" could be heard in the courtroom, according to media reports.

The three women, Maria Alekhina, Nadezhda Tolokonnikova and Yekaterina Samutsevich, reportedly laughed in response to the judge's comments.

In chaotic scenes outside the court, hundreds of protesters - including former world chess champion Garry Kasparov - clashed with police.

Feminist Russian punk group Pussy Riot members Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, centre, Maria Alekhina, right, and Yekaterina Samutsevich, are escorted to a glass cage to await the verdict. Source: AP
    .
The supporters chanted "Russia without Putin!'' amid a heavy police presence.

The three women were arrested in March after an anti-Putin stunt in Moscow's main cathedral. They called for the Virgin Mary to protect Russia against Vladimir Putin.

The case is widely seen as a warning that authorities will tolerate opposition only under tightly controlled conditions.

Critics of the Kremlin see it as part of a crackdown on dissent as Mr Putin begins a new six-year term,

Russian riot police detain a supporter of all-girl punk band "Pussy Riot" outside court in Moscow. Source: AFP

It also underlines the vast influence of the Russian Orthodox Church. Although church and state are formally separate, the church identifies itself as the heart of Russian national identity and critics say its strength effectively makes it a quasi-state entity.

Protests timed to just before the verdict or soon afterwards were planned in more than three dozen cities worldwide.

Prosecutors have asked for three-year sentences, down from the possible seven-year maximum. Putin himself has said he hopes the sentencing is not "too severe''.

Celebrities including Paul McCartney, Madonna and Bjork have called for the performers to be freed.

The case has clouded Russia's reputation overseas and stoked the resentment of opposition partisans who have turned out in a series of big rallies since last winter.

It comes in the wake of several recently passed laws cracking down on opposition, including one that raised the fine for taking part in an unauthorised demonstrations by 150 times to 300,000 roubles (about $A8600).

Another measure requires non-government organisations that both engage in vaguely defined political activity and receive funding from abroad to register as "foreign agents''.

It was inevitable they would be found guilty, I think they knew that would be the case, whether pressure from the outside can help with early released I cannot say, but I doubt it. I hope more will take up the challenge, and carry on the work of this band, they must not be forgotten. The state does not like those that does not conform to state rules, and laws, corrupt or not.

Default Russian President Vladimir Putin talks NSA, Syria, Iran, Drones and Terrorism.

Russia’s President Vladimir Putin has spoken at length with RT about the world’s burning issues, including war-torn Syria, Iran, US surveillance and terrorism. He exclusively answered questions from RT journalists while paying a visit to the channel.

Margarita Simonyan: Mr. Putin, thanks again for visiting us.

Vladimir Putin: Thanks for inviting me.

Margarita Simonyan: According to the Russian tradition, as hospitable hosts we are always happy to have such guests.

Vladimir Putin: I have to say, it was somewhat unexpected for me that our talk would be on air, not to mention it being live. But I was happy when Margarita just told me about it. I knew that we were having a meeting with journalists but I had no idea that you’d arranged such an ambush as live broadcast of it. Well, it’s all yours.

Margarita Simonyan: Well, we have nothing to hide.

Vladimir Putin: There’s nothing to hide, indeed.

Margarita Simonyan: My first question is a bit immodest – about our channel. What are your impressions of it?

Vladimir Putin: I have good impressions.

When we designed this project back in 2005 we intended introducing another strong player on the world’s scene, a player that wouldn’t just provide an unbiased coverage of the events in Russia but also try, let me stress, I mean – try to break the Anglo-Saxon monopoly on the global information streams. And it seems to me that you’re succeeding in this job.

I’d like to emphasize something of the key importance. We never expected this to be a news agency or a channel which would defend the position of the Russian political line. We wanted to bring an absolutely independent news channel to the news arena.

Certainly the channel is funded by the government, so it cannot help but reflect the Russian government’s official position on the events in our country and in the rest of the world one way or another. But I’d like to underline again that we never intended this channel, RT, as any kind of apologetics for the Russian political line, whether domestic or foreign.

Margarita Simonyan: One issue that at least our viewers are generally excited about today is the Snowden case. A man who is now being dubbed ‘a second Assange’ has exposed total surveillance practices employed by the American government. There are two sides to this story: on the one hand, that was classified information, which makes this man a traitor. But on the other hand, the information he has leaked is of crucial importance, primarily for the American public, and for the world in general. What do you think of that?

Vladimir Putin: He told us nothing we didn’t know before. I think everybody has long been aware that signals intelligence is about surveillance of individuals and organizations. It is becoming a global phenomenon in the context of combatting international terrorism, and such methods are generally practicable. The question is how well those security agencies are controlled by the public. I can tell you that, at least in Russia, you cannot just go and tap into someone’s phone conversation without a warrant issued by court. That’s more or less the way a civilized society should go about fighting terrorism with modern-day technology. As long as it is exercised within the boundaries of the law that regulates intelligence activities, it’s alright. But if it’s unlawful, then it’s bad.

Margarita Simonyan: Mr. Obama said, rather gaudily, that you cannot have hundred-percent security while maintaining hundred-percent privacy…

Vladimir Putin: Yes you can. I’d like to reiterate: you do have to obtain a warrant for specific policing activities domestically, so why shouldn’t this requirement be valid for intelligence agencies as well? It can, and it should.

Margarita Simonyan: As you probably know, it isn’t Snowden, or Syria, or Turkey that’s been top news in Russia this week. It’s your divorce everybody has been talking about. Both yourself and Ms. Lyudmila Putina explained it at length when you spoke to the press after a ballet performance, but a few questions still remain. I wonder about the religious aspects of your divorce, and this is something many people are questioning at the moment.

Vladimir Putin: First of all, I can tell you that Lyudmila and myself agree that it’s much more appropriate to be outspoken about our actual state of relations rather than try to keep it secret.

Margarita Simonyan: That’s what they say in the press, too, regardless of political affiliation.

Vladimir Putin: Well, thanks for that much. As for the religious aspect of our marriage, there is none, because we never wed in church.

    Margarita Simonyan: You didn’t wed?

    Vladimir Putin: No.
