I haven't watched Saturday night live in ages but my cousin just told me that she watched some this past weekend and they were doing skits with trump supporters dressed as kkk and with swastikas... I was really ticked off.... This is such obvious targeting and demonizing....Maybe I shouldn't be shocked but even I felt a little concerned at their pushing the envelope to that ignorant extent.

I've been wondering - Would it even matter what happens to trump personally, whether he makes it through the 4 years or something happens to him, if all the disparagement towards him is really meant towards his constituents. In 4 years he'll be off giving parties at his mansions and all those who put him down will be playing golf with him again. but his constituents have been stereotyped and demonized with the possible goal that their concerns regarding any future legislation/policy making or cultural trends will be trivialized. After all, who cares about 'bad' people.

Wondering if anyone watched SNL this past saturday and would weigh in on how they felt watching these anti-trump skits. Thanks!

Like you I have not watched SNL in many year. Whatever its mission was in the mid 70s when it was funny while being somewhat political at times, it has become a media propaganda tool for statist and it is now political most of the time without being the least bit funny any of the time.

I actually watch it every season and then ff through the crappy sketches and music. They have always been very left since the beginning. But yes, that was a bit much. But that was before the election. The one after had very somber opening. It made me throw up in my mouth little.

No one will like my answer much but I have to admit Chapelles "Walking Dead" skit was really, really funny. I am not a hillary supporter,, I think it's time to lighten up and laugh a bit. I think we are all taking life way too seriously at the moment.

And the love of many shall wax cold, kingdom against kingdom , people dont really see what is going on, what is about to happen ... the mind control of TV , media and so forth ... by 2020 America will no longer be a super power, she will have two civil and break apart into five sectors ... we are seeing it unfold across the spectrum, TV shows foster hate , division, and protest and violence ... a negative energy flowing across our mother earth affecting eveything, every person, bet there are those fighting batles in spirit they have never felt before ...

This is exactly what I was talking about in the 'so obvious' thread. Saturday Night Live is a classic left leaning program and people on the left are taught that the right really are a bunch of unintelligent racists. Because of this any information that is perceived as right leaning is avoided because who wants to be associated with racists. Of course the exact same thing is happening on the right in right aligned programming where the left are portrayed as bleeding heart socialists. We need to move beyond this divide and conquer stuff and stop focusing on the negative.

I come from a background where if you identified unpleasant things going on in the family I was told, "you're always focusing on the negative". Hopefully I would feel somewhat guilty for being so negative and just shut up.

Superbowl 2016 was the third most watched event in TV history. The shows during the breaks were full of symbolism of the occult and Cern's agenda. Did most people see anything at all other than watching Beyonce, Chris somebody, katy perry, etc to see how well they performed? No they didn't identify anything, just let the symbols go straight to their subconscious, where they can be tapped by those who put them there at a later date. Entities pay millions for 30 seconds for the opportunity/power to do this.
If one makes a point to be conscious and simply identify what is around you, one may have an opportunity to correct something wrong.

I understand what you're saying. I've grappled with distancing myself with anything political/cultural and I know what prayer, meditation, visualization, laws of attraction, etc. are. On the other hand I feel humans, both as individuals and as groups, have and do suffer for ignoring a situation or acclimating to it. So I hear you but with a few grains of salt.

Thanks for sharing your perspective Helene. When I said stop focusing on the negative... I meant the negative attributes of each side of the right/left wing division. Ie Yes there are KKK members who embrace Trump...but not all Trump supports are racist. And yes Bernie Sanders aligned with some socialist perspectives.... but he did not want to rob every comfortable family of their comfort. This could go on and and on....

Also I am not sure where you got the impression that I recommend ignoring or acclimatising to ANYTHHING...lol. I think that awareness is crucial if we are to transcend any situation. What I do believe is that we are never going to discover that one side is right and the other is wrong... Both will have pieces of the puzzle and when we stop aligning with one side and focus on integrating both sides we will rise above our current situation.

These media tactics are used widely around the globe but I do feel that people are waking up to it. I have seen it for myself in in my friends and family, they just don't buy it anymore. Maybe TPTB's control is slipping especially after Brexit and now the presidential election. There are going to be worried politicians across Europe next year when France and Germany have their elections.

Shouldn't this thread be titled as Saturday Night Live?

I love the show and there are a lot of very, very talented people acting and running the show. Very funny people. That's why I've been still following the show and occasionally there are some funny skits.

This year, I'm pretty convinced the show was pro Hillary and one the reasons why I think so, is Kate McKinnon's brilliant performances as Hillary Clinton. There was actually really even Hillary Clinton as part of the skit. That was one of the signs for me that Hillary's gonna be the next president of the US. Because this is one of those really the big medias to support such things.

Some of you might be fan of David Cross or know him. He said cleverly that this show is not really as good as it used to be (in the 70's) because they always have to support who ever the **** their guest star is. And those people are whoever they just HAVE to support. Even the reality-tv-****. I'm telling you, this guy says everything as it is.

Btw I think we should cover Marc's podcast here on Avalon, because there are occasionally some very good stuff in his interviews. Those comedians and musicians really seem to tell the truth.
