I recently shared here a few tweeted comments from clif high that sparked my curiosity.

He then had a conversation with Bitcoin Ben about the Atomist v Aetherist rift.

clif seems very excited about this topic.

He's since posted this and shared a link to the pdf of a book he mentioned to Bitcoin Ben.

Sharing That pdf link here, along with an archive link I found to, for people interested in Tesla, Electric Universe, Aether type topics.

I have to admit... I don't know how, or where to find the listing of all the books available in the PA library... perhaps someone could describe how/where to find a searchable listing of them? I'd like to see if there's any that I have copies of, and are Not saved here on PA, so that they can be added.

    Thanks!!!

    Hi Kindred

I am aware that i do need to make a more public announcement soon about what is going on with the ebooks at the moment.

I hope my below summary makes sense and helps to clarify things a little.

What we're currently doing is cataloguing everything, quietly in the background, and, to quell a few influential content creators who were unhappy that (potentially) their books were freely (sic) available who became unpleasant and noisy - not necessarily on the forum though. So, we've simply taken them offline while we look for a solution that works for everyone: that's creators/authors, and, readers.

That we'd be singled out sticks in the craw somewhat; a great many of the titles there in the ebooks section of the library (hidden for now) are very widely freely available elsewhere on the net. I think that a main point that is being missed by those creators, although I do understand frustrations with remuneration, is that we're also giving them free advertising and publicity. And, I know that if I am introduced to a title in electronic format and I like it enough, I will try and source the text and purchase a copy

I know a great many others do do that as well.

Bear with us as it's quite a time consuming job, but, we will be making them available again and hopefully soon, but perhaps not necessarily in a downloadable way. Maybe in just a 'read only' capacity. We'll need to be selective around certain texts as it relates to copyright too.

In any case, we are on the case, so to speak

    All the best
    Tintin

    P. D. Ouspensky is the author of A New Model of the Universe.
Quote Foremost occultist analyzes certain older schools of thought, of both East and West, connects them with modern ideas and explains them in the light of 20th-century discoveries and speculations in physics and philosophy. Fascinating discussions of relativity, the fourth dimension, Christian symbolism, the tarot, yoga, dreams and more. Stimulating and thought-provoking.
Quote The Fourth Way is the most comprehensive statement thus far published of the ideas taught by the late P.D. Ouspensky. Consisting of verbatim records of his oral teaching from 1921 to 1946, it gives a lucid explanation of the practical side of G. I. Gurdjieff's teachings, which Gurdjieff presented in the form of raw materials, Ouspensky's specific task having been to put them together as a systematic whole. Just as Tertium Organum deals with a new mode of thinking, so The Fourth Way is concerned with a new way of living. It shows a way of inner development to be followed under the ordinary conditions of life -- as distinct from the three traditional ways that call for retirement from the world: those of the fakir, the monk, and the yogi.
The Fourth Way is a guide for those who seek a true way of inner growth under conditions open to the men and women of today.
Quote I chose five stars for Ouspensky's "Search" for personal reasons and because of the way the book functions in its relation to a larger body of literature. It happens to be one of the first books I came accross as a student interested in the Gurdjieff Work. And though it is written as an extended narrative, it is definitively philosophical in content, both features of which I find attractive.
More importantly, the book stands as an arch to what is still being built, an architectural member of a growing body of literature concerning Gurdjieff. As such it is a support as well as a portal, an exterior view as well as a way inward. Ouspensky, as a result of direct experience working with Gurdjieff and his gifted mind, has produced for the reader an intimate journey amongst the ideas and events that led to what is now known as the Work. So for those interested or moved to study those ideas and what they may portend for persons, reading this book can be just the step to take.
