Assad points out the obvious: No gloves, masks or sarin; gas attack first responders either liars or wizards

    Russia Insider

    White Helmets are Hogwarts-trained wizards

No gloves, no masks, no sarin: That's usually how it works — unless you want to be a brave but very dead first responder

Syrian President Bashar Assad made an extremely rude and wonderful observation on Thursday during an interview that was heavily edited by responsible western news outlets.

Here's Assad, pointing out what is painfully obvious:
The fabricated videos that we've been seeing in Khan Sheikhoun when the rescuers try to rescue the victims — or the supposedly dead people or inflicted people — but actually, they weren't wearing any masks, or any gloves. How? Where is the sarin? They should be effected right away.
We've written about this oddity before, but it's definitely worth repeating: The White Helmets are extremely brave for diving headfirst into a sarin swamp without even basic protective gear such as "gloves".

Yes, their fearlessness while surrounded by sarin has been well-documented by the likes of AFP:

These guys have sarin-soaked balls the size of watermelons.

Or maybe something isn't quite adding up?

As usual, AntiWar.com's Justin Raimondo has distinguished himself with his "basic critical thinking skills" — quite rare for Twitter, as we're sure you are well aware:

Speaking at the Security Council meeting on Wednesday, Russia's deputy UN ambassador Vladimir Safronkov said that the US-drafted resolution blaming Assad for Tuesday's "gas attack" in Idlib province was based on "falsified reports from the White Helmets", an organization that has been "discredited long ago".

He's right. And so is Assad.

"Russia Today" cancels contract with Reuters, too many lies

RIA Novosti / Fort Russ News

    Translated by Inessa Sinchougova

"Russia Today" is cancelling their contract with Reuters after the British news agency published an article titled "Russian intervention in US elections" with unsubstantiated accusations against News agency
    Sputnik .

Building of "Russia Today" - Russian version. © RIANOVOSTI

The contract for the purchase of video was previously agreed by the parties and was to come into effect on May 1.

Reuters published in "exclusive" material, stating that the Russian Institute of Strategic Research developed the intervention strategy in the US election. One of the alleged documents prepared by the Institute involves the formation of a positive image of the candidate favorable to the Kremlin, and the second - the spread of violations of the election information. RT, Sputnik and other Russian media were apparently charged with propagating this image.

It is noteworthy that as a source, Reuters names "three current and four former" American officials. No agency name is not specified.

RT Editor in Chief Margarita Simonyan said: "Western journalism has hit another low, Reuters writes that they knows the seven guys that have seen a secret Russian report. Reuters should be given an Oscar for best screenplay, they deserve it."

Press Secretary of President Vladimir Putin, Dmitry Peskov, stated that "seven anonymous sources are not worth one real one."

A recent meeting between US President Donald Trump and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov sparked intense speculations in the US media as apparently only the Russian side has published the protocol photos made during the event, while no US reporters were allowed into the meeting.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova dismissed the media hype sparked by the photos and explained that the meeting's format was set up by its host, the White House.

"There were exactly as many photographers at the meeting as Washington permitted," she said, pointing out that US photo correspondents did attend the event.

NBC Butchered Putin's Thoughtful Replies to Megyn Kelly: Here's the Video of What They Censored

    Gilbert Doctorow Russia Insider
    Thu, 08 Jun 2017 18:44 UTC

    Dear NBC News Team,

Congratulations! You have graduated from fake news to falsified news, arriving at a journalistic level that is identical to that in the Soviet Union in its heyday.

A couple of days ago, the political talk show moderated by Vladimir Soloviev on state television channel Rossiya 1 broadcast two versions of a segment from Megyn Kelly's interview with Vladimir Putin last Friday in the St Petersburg on the sidelines of the International Economic Forum. One was the complete, uncut version that was aired on RT. The other was the cut-to-shreds version that you put on air for the American audience. (Watch here, beginning 4 minutes into the program.)

The segment was Megyn Kelly's aggressive question to Putin, asking his response to what she said was Americans' understanding of his government, namely one that murders journalists, suppresses political opposition, is rife with corruption, etc., etc. In the NBC version, Putin's answer has been cut to one empty introductory statement that "Russia is on its way to becoming a democracy" bracketed by an equally empty closing sentence. In the full, uncut version , Putin responds to Kelly's allegations point by point and then turns the question around asking what right the USA and the West have to question Russia's record when they have been actively doing much worse than what was in Kelly's charges. He asks where is Occupy Wall Street today, why US and European police use billy clubs and tear gas to break up demonstrations, when Russian police do nothing of the sort, and so on.

In a word, you intentionally made Putin sound like an empty authoritarian, when he is in fact a very sophisticated debater who outranked your Megyn at every turn during the open panel discussion in the Forum, to the point she was the laughing stock of the day.

Who wins from these games? You are only preconditioning the American public for the war that is coming, whether by intention or by accident. And there will be no one left to have the last laugh after the first day of that war. So you can forget about your stock options and retirement schemes, ladies and gentlemen of the News Team.

    have a nice day

    Quote Media's Melissa
Dykes revisits a story I posted
    about 5 years ago regarding
    hard evidence that has emerged
over the years of US military
    psychological operations
    involvement in the production
    of this country's news media.
    US Government propaganda
    against US Persons was illegal
    until Barack Obama officially
legitimized it in the 2012 NDAA
    (National Defense Authorization
Act), the annual budget for the
    US Department of Defense. This
story was first reported by the
    late Michael Hastings on BuzzFeed,
    before that independent news
service was co-opted in 2015 by
    the propaganda behemoth,
    NBCUniversal with a $200 million
    investment.
    Dykes' piece includes a
    cringeworthy 1996 clip of Anderson
Cooper, who interned at the CIA for
two summers prior to joining CNN,
reporting that TWA Flight 800 had
been "Shot down" and then after
    the commercial break, correcting
himself with the CIA's official line
that the 747 had been brought
down by a "center fuel tank
    explosion".
    There are more excellent cringeworthy
moments here. It goes into things that
are no longer reported on in the
    Mainstream Media in our post-9/11
world. CNN is hardly the only culprit in
    the dissemination of US Government
    propaganda. Moreover the concerted
    penetration by US military/intelligence
of the media goes back to at least 1951
    with President Harry Truman's creation
    of Psychological Strategy Board, under
the premise that "Wars could not be
won through bloodshed but by winning
the hearts and minds of people."
In 2000, a Dutch journalist at the
    Belgrade office of the Netherlands'
    most influential newspaper, the
    Trouw ("Loyalty"), Abe de Vries
    reported that PsyOps "Personnel,
soldiers and officers" had "Helped in
the production of some news stories,"
while they worked for several weeks at
    CNN's TV, radio and satellite
operations. De Vries discovered this in
    the French newsletter, Intelligence
    On-Line. The French newsletter
    reported on a Pentagon symposium,
in which US Army Colonel Christopher
St. John, Commander of the 4th
    Psychological Operations Group had
    called for "Greater cooperation between
the armed forces and media giants."
De Vries' story was picked up by the
late great Alexander Cockburn at the
Los Angeles Times in his March 22,
2000 article, "Today's News is Brought
    to You by Big Brother".
    Evidently ashamed by this 2000
    disclosure, CNN discontinued the
    internship program and publicly
    stated: "It was inappropriate for
PsyOps personnel to be at CNN, they
are not here now and they never
again will be at CNN." However, CNN
went back on their word, according
to this US Army broadcast, when
    CNNMoney.com hosted a PsyOps
officer in 2007 and 2008. This would
lead one to suspect that CNN's 2000
    announcement was purely one of
    Public Relations damage control.
In 2012, a Freedom of Information Act
request revealed that the US Army's
    "Training with Industry" program has
been placing soldiers from the 4th
    Psychological Operations Group as
interns at several local US television
stations since "at least" 2001 (a year
after the story broke in the Dutch
newspaper and in the LA Times about
    the "Personnel, soldiers and officers"
helping "In the production of some
    news stories"). The Army openly
admitted to the "Training with Industry"
program, after this 2012 FOIA request
    became public.
The stated purpose of the program
is to train the soldiers to "...
    influence the emotions, motives,
    objective reasoning, and ultimately,
    the behavior of foreign audiences."
    The Army additionally reported that
other branches of the military have
    sought to manage the perceptions
of US audiences, citing a post on
    Yahoo's News blog, TheUpshot about
how the US Marine Corps placed
Public Affairs officers at the Chicago
    Tribune "For several years...in order
    to better understand how to
influence and work with the news
    media."
    The "Training with Industry" program
remains alive and well at CBS affiliate
    stations, WRAL5 in Raleigh-Durham, NC
and WTOC11 in Savannah, GA which
regularly hosts soldiers from the Army's
    4th Psychological Operations Group.
US Army Lt. Col. Stacy Bathrick
commented that "Both of those stations
are very supportive of the military and
think very highly of the program."

Ten basic forms of fake news used by major media

by Jon Rappoport Jun 28, 2017

The basic purpose of these ten forms: the presentation of a false picture of reality.

You could find more forms, or divide these ten into sub-categories.

    The ten basic forms are:
    * Direct lying about matters of fact. (This sometimes includes doubling down on lies already told, or telling a bigger lie after the first one.)

    * Leaving out vital information.

    * Limited hangout. (This is an admission of a crime or a mistake, which only partially reveals the whole truth. The idea is that by admitting a fraction of what really happened and burying the biggest revelations, people will be satisfied and go away, and the story will never be covered again.)

    * Shutting down the truth after publishing it—includes failing to follow up and investigate a story more deeply.

    * Not connecting dots between important pieces of data.

    * Censoring the truth, wherever it is found (or calling it “fake news”).

    * Using biased “experts” to present slanted or false “facts.”

    * Repeating a false story many times—this includes the echo-chamber effect, in which a number of outlets “bounce” the false story among themselves.

    * Claiming a reasonable and true consensus exists, when it doesn’t, when there are many important dissenters, who are shut out from offering their analysis.

    * Employing a panoply of effects (reputation of the media outlet, voice quality of the anchor, acting skills, dry mechanical language, studio lighting, overlay of electronic transmissions, etc.) to create an impression of elevated authority which is beyond challenge.
These are all traditional forms and methods.

Here’s an example of a big story that deployed all ten forms of fake news: the Swine Flu pandemic of 2009.

In the spring of 2009, the World Health Organization (elevated authority whose pronouncements are beyond challenge) announced that Swine Flu was a level-6 pandemic—its highest category of “danger.” In fact, there were only 20 confirmed cases at the time (direct lying about “danger”). And W.H.O. quietly changed the definition of “level-6” so widespread death and damage were no longer required (another aspect of direct lying).

The story was, of course, picked up by major media outlets all over the world (echo chamber effect, fake consensus, never connected dots re W.H.O. lies), and quite soon, Swine Flu case numbers rose into the thousands (direct lying, as we’ll soon see).

Medical experts were brought in to bolster the claims of danger (biased experts; important dissenters never given space to comment).

In the early fall of 2009, Sharyl Attkisson, then a star investigative reporter for CBS News, published a story on the CBS News website. She indicated that the CDC had secretly stopped counting the number of Swine Flu cases in America. No other major news outlet reported this fact (omitting vital information).

Attkisson discovered the reason the CDC had stopped counting: the overwhelming number of blood samples taken from the most likely Swine Flu patients were coming back from labs with: no trace of Swine Flu or any other kind of flu. Therefore, a gigantic hoax was revealed. The pandemic was a dud, a fake.

Despite Attkisson’s efforts, CBS never followed up on her story (shutting down the truth after exposing it). Never probed the lying by the CDC (failure to connect dots). In a sense, CBS turned Attkisson’s story into a limited hangout—a further investigation would have uncovered acres of criminal behavior by both the CDC and the World Health Organization, to say nothing of the governments and media outlets that supported these lying agencies. The mainstream press essentially censored Attkisson’s revelations.

Then, about three weeks after CBS published Attkisson’s story, WebMD published a piece in which the CDC claimed that its own (lying) estimate of 10,000 or so cases of Swine Flu in the US was a gross understatement. Truly, there were 22 MILLION cases of Swine Flu in the US (doubling-down on lying).

    And that was that.

And these mainstream sources are currently shouting and bloviating about independent media spreading fake news. I guess you could call that number 11: accusing their opponents of committing the crimes they are, in fact, committing.

    Jon Rappoport

    ======================================

Quote the presentation of a false picture of reality.
I, personally, would rephrase that statement into: "... the presentation of erroneous interpretations of reality." or, even, "A Photoshoped picture of reality."

... because, otherwise, other echo chambers further confuse and muddy the issue with their: "Reality is not real!" or "It's not real, just a hologram." etc... which then leads, by reductio ad absurdum, to "Neither psychopathic serial/mass murdering, cannibalism nor pedophilia are real! It's all an illusion!"

Big Brother Google designs algorithm that restricts access to anti-war web sites

    Andre Damon and Niles Niemuth
    World Socialist Website
    Thu, 27 Jul 2017 00:00 UTC

In the three months since Internet monopoly Google announced plans to keep users from accessing "fake news," the global traffic rankings of a broad range of left-wing, progressive, anti-war and democratic rights organizations have fallen significantly.

On April 25, 2017, Google announced that it had implemented changes to its search service to make it harder for users to access what it called "low-quality" information such as "conspiracy theories" and "fake news."

The company said in a blog post that the central purpose of the change to its search algorithm was to give the search giant greater control in identifying content deemed objectionable by its guidelines. It declared that it had "improved our evaluation methods and made algorithmic updates" in order "to surface more authoritative content."

Google continued, "Last month, we updated our Search Quality Rater Guidelines to provide more detailed examples of low-quality webpages for raters to appropriately flag." These moderators are instructed to flag "upsetting user experiences," including pages that present "conspiracy theories," unless "the query clearly indicates the user is seeking an alternative viewpoint."

Google does not explain precisely what it means by the term "conspiracy theory." Using the broad and amorphous category of fake news, the aim of the change to Google's search system is to restrict access to alternative web sites, whose coverage and interpretation of events conflict with those of such establishment media outlets as the New York Times and the Washington Post.

By flagging content in such a way that it does not appear in the first one or two pages of a search result, Google is able to effectively block users' access to it. Given the fact that vast amounts of web traffic are influenced by search results, Google is able to effectively conceal or bury content to which it objects through the manipulation of search rankings.

Just last month, the European Commission fined the company $2.7 billion for manipulating search results to inappropriately direct users to its own comparison shopping service, Google Shopping. Now, it appears that Google is using these criminal methods to block users from accessing political viewpoints the company deems objectionable.

The World Socialist Web Site has been targeted by Google's new "evaluation methods." While in April 2017, 422,460 visits to the WSWS originated from Google searches, the figure has dropped to an estimated 120,000 this month, a fall of more than 70 percent.

Even when using search terms such as "socialist" and "socialism," readers have informed us that they find it increasingly difficult to locate the World Socialist Web Site in Google searches.

Referals from Google searches to the WSWS have fallen by about 70 percent

According to Google's webmaster tools service, the number of searches resulting in users seeing content from the World Socialist Web Site (that is, a WSWS article appeared in a Google search) fell from 467,890 a day to 138,275 over the past three months. The average position of articles in searches, meanwhile, fell from 15.9 to 37.2 over the same period.

David North, chairperson of the International Editorial Board of the WSWS, stated that Google is engaged in political censorship.
"The World Socialist Web Site has been in existence for nearly 20 years," he said, "and it has developed a large international audience. During this past spring, the number of individual visits to the WSWS each month exceeded 900,000.

"While a significant percentage of our readers enter the WSWS directly, many web users access the site through search engines, of which Google is the most widely used. There is no innocent explanation for the extraordinarily sharp fall in readers, virtually overnight, coming from Google searches.

"Google's claim that it is protecting readers from 'fake news' is a politically motivated lie. Google, a massive monopoly, with the closest ties to the state and intelligence agencies, is blocking access to the WSWS and other left and progressive web sites through a system of rigged searches."
In the three months since Google implemented the changes to its search engine, fewer people have accessed left-wing and anti-war news sites. Based on information available on Alexa analytics, other sites that have experienced sharp drops in ranking include WikiLeaks, Alternet, Counterpunch, Global Research, Consortium News and Truthout. Even prominent democratic rights groups such as the American Civil Liberties Union and Amnesty International appear to have been hit.

A broad range of left-wing, progressive, and anti-war sites have had their traffic rankings fall in recent months

According to Google Trends, the term "fake news" roughly quadrupled in popularity in early November, around the time of the US election, as Democrats, establishment media outlets and intelligence agencies sought to blame "false information" for the electoral victory of Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton.

On November 14, the New York Times proclaimed that Google and Facebook "faced mounting criticism over how fake news on their sites may have influenced the presidential election's outcome," and they would be taking measures to combat "fake news."

Ten days later, the Washington Post published an article, "Russian propaganda effort helped spread 'fake news' during election, experts say," which cited an anonymous group known as PropOrNot that compiled a list of "fake news" sites spreading "Russian propaganda."

The list included several sites categorized by the group as "left-wing." Significantly, it targeted globalresearch.ca, which often reposts articles from the World Socialist Web Site.

After widespread criticism of what was little more than a blacklist of anti-war and anti-establishment sites, the Washington Post was forced to publish a retraction, declaring, "The Post, which did not name any of the sites, does not itself vouch for the validity of PropOrNot's findings."

On April 7, Bloomberg News reported that Google was working directly with the Washington Post and the New York Times to "fact-check" articles and eliminate "fake news." This was followed by Google's new search methodology.

Three months later, out of the 17 sites declared to be "fake news" by the Washington Post 's discredited blacklist, 14 had their global ranking fall. The average decline of the global reach of all of these sites is 25 percent, and some sites saw their global reach fall by as much as 60 percent.

"The actions of Google constitute political censorship and are a blatant attack on free speech," North stated. "At a time when public distrust of establishment media is widespread, this corporate giant is exploiting its monopolistic position to restrict public access to a broad spectrum of news and critical analysis."

    This is a lie.

The term "fake news" wasn't coined to explain why Hillary lost the election. It was coined to cover-up "pizzagate" stories that were trending on Twitter and redpilling millions of people to the Satanism, child trafficking and torture language included in many of John Podesta's leaked emails. The MSM only mentioned it at all because of the massive online attention it was gathering, but their instant label was "fake news" with no investigation.

Anyone now saying that the "fake news" meme was started by MSM because of Clinton's loss is revising history, whether they realize it or not. This is how people rewrite history.

Every time Trump says "fake news" he is implicitly drawing our attention back to that term and its origin and the stories that caused the MSM to push it. It has to do with Satanism and pedophilia in the establishment. This is what we are fighting.

where it says "quadrupled in popularity", doesn't that mean it had to be established phrase before it could quadruple in popularity, since 4 x 0=0? Where is it implying it was made for or "coined" for Hillary losing election?

Default Re: Fake News and the War on Freedom and Truth

True, previous instances of it exist, but if anyone from the future studies the etymology of the words "fake news" they are mostly going to be concerned with 2016 moving forward, because the past usages of "fake news" were not culturally/socially significant by comparison. In the study of language these are the kinds of historical events that mark major impacts in the connotations society shares about words.

And the knee-jerk reaction from the MSM that caused them to spurt out this phrase was the mass exposure of pedophilia and Satanism online, not simply an election loss.

The two are related because they both have to do with leaked information, but this pedophilia/Satanism stuff was only barely just breaking out in the details in places like 4chan and Reddit by election day, and realistically would have had no major impact on the election results.

Also for historical note, the reason this all was about to go nuclear around election day itself, rather than some time earlier (in order to give the information time to spread and do maximum damage before election day), was allegedly because exposure of all of these crimes was being used as leverage to prevent the outright theft of the election. It was only going to be exposed as part of a military counter-coup if this election was stolen by voter fraud and the media on election night. Since everything went relatively smoothly during the transition (aside from massive illegal sabotage that will only end in additional prosecutions), even people getting inside information from the Trump campaign (such as Alex Jones) began downplaying and backing off the story because it was "not yet" (words relayed to Milo) the time for it.

'The story that never was': Washington Post forced to admit Russia 'collusion just isn't there'

    Alex Christoforou The Duran
    Sat, 29 Jul 2017 12:53 UTC

CIA backed, Jeff Bezos owned Washington Post today admitted that the Russia election meddling story is a pack of lies.

The WaPo op-ed by Ed Rogers has of course been ignored by the main stream media and the liberal left.

Here is the full op-ed here.

    Via The Gateway Pundit...
In a stunning op-ed in The Washington Post titled, "The Quest to Prove Collusion is Crumbling", the writer actually admits that the whole Russian collusion narrative is 'the story that never was'.

Ed Rogers penned this piece following Jared Kushner's testimony. Rogers said, instead of igniting the Russian collusion narrative, Jared Kusner's testimony stifled it, causing the media to "quietly back out of the room unnoticed".
The Washington Post explains how Kushner squashed the entire Russian election fake news fairytale concocted by Hillary Clinton...
While everyone is fixated on President Trump's unbecoming and inexplicable assault on Attorney General Jeff Sessions, the media has been trying to sneak away from the "Russian collusion" story. That's right. For all the breathless hype, the on-air furrowed brows and the not-so-veiled hopes that this could be Watergate, Jared Kushner's statement and testimony before Congress have made Democrats and many in the media come to the realization that the collusion they were counting on just isn't there.

As the date of the Kushner testimony approached, the media thought it was going to advance and refresh the story. But Kushner's clear, precise and convincing account of what really occurred during the campaign and after the election has left many of President Trump's loudest enemies trying to quietly back out of the room unnoticed.

Cable news airtime and in-print word count dedicated to the nonexistent collusion story appear to be dwindling. Democrats and their allies in the media seem less eager to talk about it, and when they do, they say something to the effect of "but, but, but ... Kushner didn't answer every question ... He wasn't under oath ... There are still more witnesses ... What about this or that new gadfly?" They are stammering. And it hasn't taken long for news producers and editors to realize that the story is fading.

At last, the story that never was is not happening.
According to The Gateway Pundit, the entire hoax was made up out of thin air and the fake news media has talked about it round the clock in order to keep the story alive.
The Russian hoax always was and always will be a way for the Democrats to deflect from their many crimes.

    Google Turning into Censorship Engine

    by Alexandra Bruce 8/1/17

    https://forbiddenknowledgetv.net/goo...orship-engine/

Last April, Google announced changes to its algorithm, aiming to sideline “fake news”, conspiracy theories and other content that it claimed was not “advertiser friendly”. Publishers from the so-called “Alt-Right” immediately cried foul. 90 days later, a study conducted by André Damon of the World Socialist Web showed that the traffic rankings of the top left-leaning anti-war sites in the US were down by as much as 70%. (see post # 151)

I can personally vouch for the veracity of these findings, having observed this trend on my own site, which I don’t consider to be either Right or Left, as much as it is anti-war and anti-corruption. Roughly 50% of visitors to ForbiddenKnowledgeTV.net arrive here through Google Search results. With the search results for my site now curtailed by Google, visits to the site (i.e., “traffic”) are down. I’ve been voicing my suspicions of this to anyone who will listen so it’s something of a relief to find solid confirmation of this disturbing trend.

As André Damon explains very clearly, “Peoples’ opinions, if they don’t line up with the interests of Google, which is one of the most politically-connected corporations on the planet, having given more in lobbying donations over the recent period than any other corporation; if they don’t line up with the interests of Google, if they don’t line up with the interests of the Government, if they don’t line up with the interests of the military and intelligence establishment, they will be censored. And the vision outlined in that document is entirely consistent with the statistics that we’ve seen.”

It is dangerous enough to democracy, to Net Neutrality and to the First Amendment when a monopolistic behemoth that’s a defacto branch of the Deep State/intelligence apparatus, like Google is suppressing bonafide search results. It’s even scarier that this leviathan should be allowed to remain in one gargantuan piece.

Sy Hersh comments in leaked tape: Russiagate a CIA-planted lie, "It's a Brennan Operation"

    Russia Insider
    Thu, 03 Aug 2017 16:24 UTC

Brennan was also the chief architect of US regime change attempt for Syria

"It's a Brennan operation...they even started telling the press...that we even know who in the GRU [did it]. I mean all bull****."

A tape has surfaced of the legendary investigative journalist Seymour Hersh discussing Seth Rich and the manufactured "Russiagate" scandal in a private conversation. Hersh refuses to confirm the voice heard on the tape is his, which is exactly what he should do.

He made the comments in confidence, not knowing he was being recorded and that they would be made public. Why would he reward the betrayal of trust with a confirmation?

That said, we can't help but find the things he said very, very interesting. Speaking about Russiagate he says he has a trusted source who told him it was started, or at least fueled, by a conspiracy between the CIA chief Brennan, NSA chief Rogers, and the Director of National Intelligence Clapper. The trio colluded in telling the media that they had overwhelming evidence that Russia hacked the DNC - something that was absolutely not true.

See, and read, for yourself. The tape (Russia stuff starts halfway in):

    And the transcript:
I don't know whether you- Anyways, Wikileaks got access, and before he was killed- I can tell you right now Brennan is an asshole. Uh, I've known all these people for years. Clapper is sort of a better guy but not rocket scientist, the NSA guy's a ****ing moron, and they don't- you know the trouble with all of those guys is that the only way they're going to make it to a board or two and get hired by (?) and get some fat cat contracts is if Hillary stayed in.

With Trump they're gone, they're done, they're going to live on their pension, they're not going to make it. And I gotta tell you guys, they don't want to live on their pension, they want to be on boards.

I have somebody on the inside, you know I've been around a long time, and I write a lot of stuff. I have somebody on the inside who will go and read a file for me. This person is unbelievably accurate and careful, he's a very high-level guy and he'll do a favor. You're just going to have to trust me. I have what they call in my business a long-form journalism,

I have a narrative of how that whole ****ing thing began, it's a Brennan operation, it was an American disinformation and ****ing the ****ing President, at one point when they, they even started telling the press, they were back briefing the press, the head of the NSA was going and telling the press, ****ing cock-sucker Rogers, was telling the press that we even know who in the GRU, the Russian Military Intelligence Service, who leaked it. I mean all bull****.

They were telling the stup- I worked at the New York Times for ****ing years, and the trouble with the ****ing New York Times is they have smart guys, but they're totally beholden on sources. If the president or the head of the (???) to actually believe it. I was actually hired at the time to write, to go after the war in Vietnam War in 72 because they were just locked in.

So that's what the Times did. These guys run the ****ing Times, and Trump's not wrong. But I mean I wish he would calm down and had a better a better press secretary, I mean you don't have to be so. Trump's not wrong to think they all ****ing lie about him.

German journalist who exposed government instruction in media coverage faces backlash

    RT
    Fri, 11 Aug 2017 16:44 UTC

    Claudia Zimmermann © RT

Rejected contributions, boycott calls and a public letter refuting her words were some of the tactics freelance reporter Claudia Zimmermann faced after exposing her employer, German public broadcaster WDR, for sticking to pro-government narrative on migrant crisis.

Speaking to RT Deutsch, Zimmermann said she fell out of grace with the bosses of WRD, which is part of the ARD group of Germany's regional public-service broadcasters, after she revealed the pressure on the employees to refrain from criticism of German Chancellor's Angela Merkel controversial "open door" policy towards refugees.

"We are a public broadcaster, we are paid with tax money and that means we interpret the government's view and not that of the opposition," Zimmermann said in an interview to Dutch radio station L1 Limburg in January 2016, adding that it was expected from WRD to cover Merkel's migrant policy "in a more positive way."

"There are various committees that determine the program policies, which instructed the editors to support the Merkel government policy," she said.

'I stand by what I said on migrant coverage'

The interview went on air on the heels of New Year's Eve sexual assaults in Cologne that were initially blamed on asylum seekers of North African and Middle Eastern origin. The violent attacks sparked outrage with the German public and opposition, highlighting the growing dismay with the "welcoming" approach, personally propelled by Merkel.

After Zimmermann's insight into the WRD's story selection started making rounds in German and international media, she was contacted by the broadcaster which sought to "minimize the damage" to its reputation. Although Zimmermann agreed and apologized, saying that she was "talking nonsense" while being "under pressure of live broadcast", she told RT Deutsch that her repentance refers only to her failure to clarify the functions of Germany's Broadcasting Council during the interview.

As for the essence of her message, Zimmermann says she stands completely by her words.

"In the media, not only in WDR, Merkel's migrant policy received a very strong backing by journalists. Some journalists, including me, tried to offer more critical topics, but they weren't approved," she said.

"I haven't apologized for my actual words. I have never disavowed them and I don't disavow them now," she said, noting that contrary to reports by some media, she has never mentioned receiving any "written instructions" from the government.

"It would have been too obvious and would have sparked a protest. The thing is, as I have already said before, pressure comes from above. Unfavorable topics are simply not greenlighted. So a journalist does not have even a chance to offer such a topic," she said.

    'Colleagues advised to boycott'

While WDR publicly vowed not to sack Zimmermann and followed through with its promise up to this moment, many of her contributions have been since turned down. She noticed that some of her rejected topics were handed to other WRD journalists.

"I even complained about it," Zimmermann said, noting that the topics she had covered for years, completely unrelated to politics, like international art fairs, suddenly changed hands.

Moreover, the journalist noted that she has been silently ostracized by WDR, saying that the broadcaster recommended her colleagues to steer clear of her and sign a public letter praising the company's integrity and denouncing her remarks.

"The funniest part in this story was that half of all employees did not sign this letter. There was a heated internal discussion among the employees," Zimmerman said, adding that despite the majority refused to put down their signatures, some media outlets portrayed it as through it was a unanimous condemnation.

"I know that they, in WRD, asked that employees don't have any contact with me, don't talk to me. I was told so," she said, adding that some of her colleagues have continued to back her in private while having to keep a distance in public.

'One-sided coverage on Russia & Syria'

Speaking on instances of biased coverage in German media in general, Zimmermann said she believes the media are telling only one side of the story when covering Russia-related topics and its reunification with Crimea, in particular.

"I would like the coverage of this issue to be far more substantial and balanced," she said.

The same could be observed in the way the German media is handling the Syrian conflict, Zimmermann said. She spoke about a colleague who last year proposed to make a story about the other side of Syria's life, not scarred by the war.

"She wanted to tell about a beautiful Syria. About its beauty, about the way they celebrate holidays and that the war is not everywhere," Zimmermann said, adding that her colleague was discouraged by the rejection.

"It means they needed only war reports on Syria, not beautiful images. I believe it is also a kind of a one-sided coverage."

The Radical Left and Silicon Valley are working together to kill free speech and end the unfettered exchange of ideas

    Edmund Kozak Lifezette

    © Austin McKinley, Flickr

Political totalitarianism is coming to America, and it is being ushered in not by government thugs in jackboots but by progressive activists and their allies in Silicon Valley.

In a chilling oped published in The New York Times on July 14, Lisa Feldman Barrett, a professor of psychology at Northeastern University, argued that so-called "hate speech" is the same thing as physical violence because it may possibly cause emotionally fragile individuals stress - and should be made illegal.

Thankfully, the First Amendment prohibits the federal government from following such advice, but online companies are taking it upon themselves to stamp-out so-called "hate speech," strangling free speech and the free exchange of ideas in the process.

A number of troubling actions by internet companies - Google most prominent among them - are making it increasingly clear that some in Silicon Valley have proclaimed themselves defenders of the progressive, politically correct faith, and that those firms will silence any and all heretics who challenge those beliefs.

"Silicon Valley lives in a politically regressive, exclusive bubble. They are not aware of their own biases in how they talk, have a limited understanding of the philosophy behind free speech, and find it difficult empathizing with other points of view," said Aaron Ginn, co-founder of the Lincoln Network, a think tank that seeks to promote libertarian ideas in the tech industry.

But Google not only has difficulty empathizing with other points of view - it is also actively trying to suppress them. Google recently made the controversial decision to fire engineer James Damore for authoring an internal memo questioning the company's ideologically motivated diversity practices and highlighting sound scientific research suggesting that possible biological differences between men and women, not discrimination, could be a factor in the tech field's high percentage of men.

In the aftermath of Damore's firing, a number of anonymous current and former Google employees have come forward to reveal the full extent of the company's efforts to silence right-wing voices. One anonymous employee identified as "Hal" told Breitbart News last week that some employees in Google's ad sales department are "openly encouraging Adwords customers to pull their ads from Breitbart and Rebel Media."

Another anonymous employee under the alias "Emmet" confirmed this with Breitbart News, and also revealed the existence of "efforts to demote anything non-PC, anti-Communist, and anti-Islamic terror from search results."

"Emmett says he personally witnessed efforts from leftists within Google to bias YouTube's algorithms to push anti-PC content off the platform's 'related videos' recommendations," Breitbart reported. "The software could just 'astroturf' your Related Videos section [an effort to hurt overall ratings], and you would be none the wiser," said Emmet.
"Sure, if you know what to look for, perhaps you'd notice," he continued.

"But the vast majority of the viewership would never ever know. That's the whole point of such a disinformation program, right? If you can tell it's disinformation, you would never, ever believe it."
People familiar with the process have told reporters recently that YouTube, a subsidiary of Google, is also laboring to cleanse its platform of alternative voices that challenge the mainstream liberal narrative. The social media video-sharing site has in the past few months systematically demonetized videos of right-wing commenters and journalists, such as Infowars editor-at-large Paul Joseph Watson and former Rebel Media reporter Lauren Southern.

But the latest commentators to fall victim to this practice are far less controversial: YouTube celebrities and vocal Trump supporters Diamond and Silk. The duo discovered last week that a number of their videos - including one that is two years old - were suddenly demonetized. They have vowed to fight YouTube's efforts to suppress conservative voices and have even raised the possibility of legal action.

"The same video that is being demonetized has been monetized for two years, so how was it suitable for our advertisers for two years and now all of a sudden there's an issue?" Silk told LifeZette in an exclusive interview.

The pair say the demonetization is a transparent attempt at censorship. "How can [YouTube] oust us and say [we're] not suitable for all advertisers?" said Diamond. "Have you spoken to each and every one of you hundreds of thousand of advertisers and said, 'Hey do you want to advertise around Diamond or Silk, yes or no?' or are you as YouTube making this decision for your advertisers?"

YouTube is "a social media platform, and a social media platform is a platform for ideas, for all ideas," said Diamond. It's a place "for people to be able to come together and collaborate with those ideas."

"So even though people want to call YouTube private, it's open to the public, so when it's open to the public, you cannot discriminate against conservative voices or against people that chose to support the president," she argued.

"We're being discriminated against because first of all, we're two black people, we don't fit the norm - we're black, Republican conservatives, and we support our president," said Diamond. "What they want to do is control the narrative."

"They're putting our videos in a category now as being extremist or 'hate speech,'" said Silk.

"And that's not fair because now that's defamation," Diamond added.

The duo, which gained even more recognition for their consistent support of Trump during the presidential race, wants YouTube to remonetize not just their videos, but also those of other right-wingers who have had their livelihoods altered in a similar fashion.

"We want to give YouTube the opportunity to make this right, to be inclusive instead of exclusive. We want them to include people and not leave out conservative voices," Diamond said.

But "if YouTube does not make this right, then we have to take this a step further," said Diamond. On Thursday the two tweeted, "We Smell A Class Action Lawsuit," and confirmed with LifeZette that they are prepared to follow through on the threat.

"Listen, they can regulate, but you can't discriminate while you regulate," she said.

"Because what they're trying to do is dominate, and that's unfair," Diamond said. "It's unfair that we allow Google and YouTube to team up together and really monopolize a sector of the internet."

Unfortunately it's not just Google. On Thursday, Watson of InfoWars posted a YouTube video titled "I Won't Be Around Much Longer," in which he revealed that "they banned me on Facebook because of a video I posted 18 months ago," and went on to posit that if digital platforms continue at the current rate, Silicon Valley will have soon entirely purged all right-wing voices from mainstream social media.

But although social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter are already known among conservatives for suppressing even mainstream right-wing voices, despite allowing controversial content from the far Left and even radical Islamists to remain online unmolested - non-social-media sites have also begun to target right-wing dissidents.

A number of online right-wing commentators - including Southern and former Students for Trump director and independent journalist James Allsup - have even had their Paypal, GoFundMe, or Patreon accounts canceled because of their perceived "support" for "hate speech."

These attacks, not just on people's free speech, but also on their livelihoods, represent a fundamental and chilling acceleration of the progressive Left's attempts to control thought and debate within society.

"Liberals can't have this one-sided. This works both ways," said Diamond.

"We have a conservative voice, we support our president, we support our country, and we want our voices heard, and if we have fans we want our fans to hear our voices," she said.

    ==============================================

"They" managed to control the press and publishing houses during the last century and, now, they acquired the means to control the internet... done, over done and charred!

There was that preacher - Kumbaya's palm or something - who kept clamoring: "The Internet 2.0 is coming..." Well, it seems it's here to stay: One is either "Truth Ministry" compliant or starving to death...
