    Default My personal awakening

A painful awakening which I had been suppressing most of my life. Choosing to ignore my predictive dreams and deep intuition. I explained everything away not seeing a gift but a burden. although deeply aware of people's emotional energy it was my own that it took longest to accept, love and forgive.
I was continually absorbing and reflecting other people like my own spirit was not good enough. Dancing on the fence between my true self and what image I was trying to project.
After three years in India I was unprogramming.
Then I was angry I danced like Shiva. The grief and anger at the lies of my society and myself.
My mind and soul were exhausted I broke down.
Love compassion and truth have been my nurse's. Pray meditation my medicine and animals and nature my friends.
My dreams still surprise me but I listen. What I see sometimes hurts me but I forgive. I am awake and still learning.
I walk through nature and see the infinite possibilities and endless beauty.

This is beautiful, thank you for sharing your process of awakening! I just had a conversation the other day with a friend who has been through a very rough process, and is coming to realize how it has all amounted to an acceleration of his own awakening. We were overjoyed to realize that we shared this experience. Thank you for sharing your love and your truth.

When i first realized how screwed up my brain was, when only 23, i had difficulty thinking for about six months. My problem then was that my heart was not much ingaged in the process. So i suffered for decades till the realization that love and compassion are the keys for rehabilitation. Vward, you are so far ahead because your heart is leading the way. I am sure you will find you are/will be much happier for it. Welcome aboard Avalon.
