SciMan Dan is actually really limited and blinkered in his outlook. Like many others in the mainstream, he states in his video that Flat Earthers = Anti-Vaxxers = Covid-19 Questioners = Moon Landing Hoaxers = ET Believers = 9/11 Conspirators.

Not helpful to anyone. And that's what the Flat Earth psy-op is all about. SciMan Dan falls for the whole thing, and seems quite unaware of what this is really all about.

• Last week I posted a video about how we know the Earth is round, from the perspective of modern astronomy. The Flat Earth community did not like it one bit, and the channel "Globebusters" decided to talk for three hours on their livestream about how stupid my video is, and how stupid I am. I didn't really appreciate that, so I decided to make a video about their video to illustrate precisely how little they know about science, and to further reinforce how utterly absurd the Flat Earth "model" is, as well as some of the finer points about the conspiracy.

I wonder if we have any "Secret Flat Earthers" in our mids ... I highly doubt it, but if there are some, they have to be really new members as most who are long time members know by now how to apply real discernment skills ... This is what I really like about Project Avalon Forum having higher standards by default. That does not mean everything is "set in stone" especially when something is (highly) controversial. Most who suffer "low attention span disorder" will have to admit that it is a short-coming an incompetence dealing with deep subjects.

Thanks! Yes, we keep an eye out for that just in case, but as best we know we've not had any Flat Earthers on Avalon for a while.

Occasionally we have that mentioned in a membership application, and if they're diehard believers then that's an automatic (but always polite) decline from us.

All it takes is money – Gauld has already contacted Richard Branson of Virgin Galactic and Elon Musk of SpaceX for prices and schedules for sending civilians into space, and determined that Virgin Galactic has the best of both – assuming COVID allows the flights to happen and he can raise the money. But first, why is Marc Gauld SO annoyed with Flat Earthers?

I wonder if people ASSUME they have (new) "special insights" on any controversial topic and just feel "better" to "educate" it to anyone who wants to listen BUT NOT QUESTION it ... as that is part of the "conspiracy" ... lol

So they may be conditioned how NOT to listen to others that questions their sold narrative.
