Default Is it all a game?

I found this article on Waking Times this morning and a lot of it resonates with my what I have experienced. Titled The Origin, Purpose, and Destiny of the Earth Game, I would love to hear from other members, whether you want to share your opinion (pro or con) or experiences that mesh with this theory. It seems to align with what Tom Campbell and others propose.

Like many of you, I have had experiences that suggest we have done this before. For instance, many years ago, while sitting in a windowless exam room at the vet that I bring my animals to I had this vision of some catastrophic event that killed off humanity and yet we survived.

In the last section of the article, the writer says: "To achieve this we planned a subtle and multi-faceted series of interventions whose goal was to awaken as many players as possible to the wider reality and their higher selves and to spur them to ascend to higher levels of consciousness and thereby to the next level of the game." Could not Project Avalon be one of those interventions?

I have heard about the Law of One but have not read it yet. I plan to. Thanks for bringing it up ... a reminder for me.

I think that thinking of this as a "game" that we all collectively created certainly lets any so-called "benevolent" God entity off the hook. I have often wondered what kind of benevolent God/gods would create a world like this -- a world where living beings must consume other living beings to survive (even if you are a vegan, you are still eating living beings) and the fear and pain that that necessarily entails for the consumed. Even if that part of it is relatively necessary for some reason, you have to top that off with the very real possibility that the world is and has long been run by incredibly depraved beings (engaged in pedophilia, cannibalism, SRA, etc.) and it's really hard to see this as any type of productive learning game. If it is a "game" we collectively created, it certainly fell off the rails a long time ago and devolved into a seemingly unnecessary experience of trauma overload for many. So I'm hoping the "Gamers" are ready to make things right -- and quickly.

That stuff nags at me too but probably because I am still somewhat immersed in it. However, if, as the article says, we (as aspects of the one cosmic mind) created the game, then we created the good, bad, and really bad stuff that are played out in the game.

What really matters at the end of your life what did you achieve in spiritual awaking the good the bad causing reactions from you but what did it do to you awaking is what they want us to look at helping each other to awaken or what ever they need love them help them we are all one and I know its hard to look at the evil bas%erds with this attitude. Part of the ride I guess.

I agree with you. I love how Alan Watts puts the "oneness" in his "The Real You" lecture:

"Everybody is I, you all know you’re you, and wherever beings exist throughout all galaxies, it doesn’t make any difference. You are all of them. And when they come into being, that’s you coming into being…”

This is school, we incarnate for 50-60 billion years with 152 years and 21 days between lifetimes ... slowly learning, evoling in our consciousness/spirit ... until we reach a point of half spirit half material , a further 50-60 million years until the first pure spirit level is reached , then we no longer need a physical body to learn... there are many levels until we reach the level of Petale , after that we mrge back to become one/part of Creation ... Due to overpopulation a spirit form can come back sooner 10 years or 20 , or 30 years as the laws of reincarnation are broken because of overpolulation , people remember former lives, which is not supposed to happen , the 152 years btween life times ensures the former personality is dissolved and a brand new life can be lived ... this is how the plejaren who are millions of years ahead of us spiritually explain it ...
Raiding the Matrix One Mind at a Time ...

Thanks, Ghostrider. Do the Pleiadians also describe this reality as a game-like virtual reality? And after we return to the Creator or cosmic oneness, does the process start all over again?

Default Re: Is it all a game?

I have been realizing lately that I have, in many ways, played life as a game. I'm a Sagittarius and one of our good qualities is an ability to "see the larger picture". Years ago, when I realized my husband was cheating on me, I tried to solve the problem by approaching it from different angles... I'll leave that to your imagination, lol but my point is that I could frequently get outside of the emotional response and try different ways to improve my happiness. One axiom that I lived by for awhile, was "change your chemistry, change your life". So, I would go on a diet or adjust my habits in some way. When I quit smoking cigarettes after 35 years, I gave myself a gift - singing.

I listened to Tom Campbell recently and got a lot of confirmation from his lecture. I KNOW I have good intention. I also know that I can be too much sometimes. (keeping my little Trump flag under a bushel basket these days) I like what Campbell says about intention, but I like to spice my soup with lots of different flavors, so I keep the gems that work for me in the moment. I prefer to "float" things because the moment I adopt something as true, I find that it isn't anymore. And it seems that the more dogmatic my conviction, the more weighty and problematic the theory becomes.

Because it's all theory. I think a concept from the Law of One is that it is all a story - the only thing real is the connection between Self and Creator.

I tried to find a link to place here. There was a wonderful conversation between David Wilcock and his friend Larry Seyer. It was titled "There's Only one of us Here". It was a delightful comparison of The Law of One with "A Course in Miracles". They came to the conclusion that the two are very similar. But fun, because they made silly examples, like you may be the only one here, but please don't walk in front of a moving car, because there are agreements that we have made, like physics.

I like George Kavassilas' take on things. I recently heard him suggest that we stop using the word god. Every time you say "oh my god", there is a ka-ching energy contribution to the great mind-control program in the sky?/Moon?/next door?/mothership?

It's tough going, being a red pill person these days. There are lots of planets in fire and air signs, which is combustible. The jupiter/uranus opposition is really shaking things up. Considering I'm the only one here, I must be resolving old unresolved conflicts within. Oh ya, astrology helps me to play the game.

I don't know why it hasn't been made a board game, but the best depiction of life on earth to me is "The Wizard of Oz".

Thank you for sharing that, Lilac. True. As of now, all we have, at least in our waking consciousness state, are theories. I do believe somewhere in our unconscious state WE KNOW.

I have often wondered what kind of benevolent God/gods would create a world like this -- a world where living beings must consume other living beings to survive (even if you are a vegan, you are still eating living beings) and the fear and pain that that necessarily entails for the consumed. Even if that part of it is relatively necessary for some reason, you have to top that off with the very real possibility that the world is and has long been run by incredibly depraved beings (engaged in pedophilia, cannibalism, SRA, etc.) and it's really hard to see this as any type of productive learning game...
This was a few years ago now, I had great difficulty understanding this issue awakeningmom has raised and I became very upset with God one day and then when I calmed down I apologised and told God that I trust him/her and so I accept this existence but I didn’t at all understand the unfairness of it all, the rich and poor, the suffering etc. I felt a really strong need to understand this.

A week or two later, I was sitting outside with my tablet and kinda zoned out a bit as I was wistfully staring at a picture of Earth from space when God replied.

A powerful but gentle energy emerged from behind me and rested on my shoulder and then God spoke to me, there was a lot of information beyond the words spoken that was relayed to me, but I’ll stick to the words. Referring to Earth and all her inhabitants, God said, in the most loving way I’ve ever felt, “You’re so beautiful”. A lot went on in my mind but the thought most pertinent here was that I rejected that the whole planet and everything on it was me. I was kind of indignant about it, I have nothing to do with the queen or Rothschilds or the CIA etc. I then clicked on a link and was looking at the image below.

I hadn’t noticed the energy recede, I again felt it emerge from behind me and my attention was drawn to the “today" time section of the image. I looked at how much dark matter and dark energy there is at this point in time compared to how little light there is. My reaction was something to the effect of, “My God, how is there any light left at all, how has it not been totally overwhelmed and extinguished!”. God then said, “See, it’s not your fault”. I immediately understood that all that is here arises from the force of an expanding universe and there’s nothing at all any of us are to blame for because of the immense force of the motion behind this point in time and space in this universe.

There is much about what God showed me that I still don’t comprehend to this day but I understand enough to have my question about the unfair nature of this world sufficiently answered.

Regarding the view of this reality as a game. I think there are numerous accurate analogies and it being a game is one of them, I’ve seen it this way myself too. Back to God’s use of the words “you’re” and “your” when he/she spoke to me. When God said “See, it’s not your fault” it was made clear to me that God’s use of the word “your” again also served as a reiteration that Earth and all her inhabitants is indeed me, after I rejected that notion. I understood at that point that that was important and to take note, like a seed I wouldn’t understand yet but can trust is true because God told me so. For me this is a hint at the true nature of this reality, how this game is constructed.

Somehow, we each experience this outer reality which is projected or experienced entirely with our own energy. It’s all us and we each appear to have chosen to create, within and of our own consciousness, the same/similar shared reality experience. It’s like a game where we’re not only the avatar but also the virtual world and all the other avatars too but the souls of the other avatars are other individuals. So what we see when we look at each other is our own projection of the other individual, literally, not just an effect of differing perceptions. And so, when we graduate as the article in the OP discussed, our awareness is expanded and we get to experience being the individual moving the game controller too, we then are able to perceive each other accurately, as we truly are. No avatars are even remotely who any of us really are at all.

That's the best I'm able to explain it, I still have a very limited comprehension of this but that’s what God said and that’s my best understanding at this point. So far, the only person/being I’ve heard speak of this reality in the same way is Bashar (I’d love to know of others).

It’s OK if anyone reading this doesn’t believe that God spoke to me. It was an amazing experience but it's no big deal, God has spoken to many, probably anyone who addressed him/her and wanted or needed it bad enough.
Never give up on your silly, silly dreams.

You mustn't be afraid to dream a little BIGGER, darling.

I had a dream - I found myself in the audience of a live play in a very large theater. Moving to different locations in the audience, wanting to watch the play from more than one perspective, I suddenly realized that I was the audience, actor and playwright.

This experience appears to me as being a multi-dimensional chess game for consciousness, an opportunity to learn how to use thought, emotion and inspired action to create reality.

The world is exactly as it is supposed to be. Many people think that free will is an illusion so convincing that some simply refuse to believe that we don’t have it. Many want to believe that we are merely the inevitable outcome of our circumstances. These same people want to believe that we are on a path that is inexorably predetermined in every way, shape, and form. In other words, the dice have been rolled and the game has already been determined even before our arrival on this planet. As I see it a little bit of both are at play here, that is why it is so hard to figure out the game.

We play the game within defined parameters. Crime, sickness, corruption, war, hunger, poverty, failure, are all on this planet for a reason and will alway be on this planet. Essentially these are the guidepost, they have been prearranged. If you lead a tremendously successful life you may cure an illness (such as polio) but another illness will take its place (such as aids, sars etc). You may stop or prevent war but another will break out somewhere on the planet.

Kindness, loyalty compassion, trust, forgiveness, caring and love are all there for the giving and taking. We do not have the ability (free will) to change the parameters of the game but we do have the ability (free will) to add and delete some of the good stuff, the virtues.

The author says that our eternal quest is to know ourselves but to truly do that you must understand how the game is played. You must understand if and when you have free will.

Can we change our circumstances or should we even try? The answer is yes and no. War is predetermined but your participation in it is made of your free will. Illness is predetermined but how you accept it and fight it is a choice made with free will. With enough will power and understanding the power of thought (free will) you are capable of curing any disease, even those that we consider terminal. Death is predetermined but how you accept death (your own or someone close to you) is a choice you make with free will.

Once you understand how the game is played it is much easier to play. Knowing the prearranged/predetermine parameters and when you can influence outcomes with your free will it makes for a much easier and happier life.

Hi, InnocentWarrior. I, for one, would never question your experience with God. What a powerful way to gain this understanding. Grasping the construct of it -- if it's a game or whatever it is -- is challenging. But then again, why would it be easy? Your interpretation simplifies some of it: "Somehow, we each experience this outer reality which is projected or experienced entirely with our own energy. It’s all us and we each appear to have chosen to create, within and of our own consciousness, the same/similar shared reality experience. It’s like a game where we’re not only the avatar but also the virtual world and all the other avatars too but the souls of the other avatars are other individuals.
