But also, there's another reason I posted the video above... and that is that if you are in Germany, South Korea, Spain, United Kingdom or the United States, you are fortunate to see the following just below the video - Here's a screen shot for those who are not so fortunate -

Ahhh, thank you, Youtube and Wikipedia. I needed help in knowing what the real truth is about "Global Warming." I am so fortunate to be in one of these countries or I would never know!
All the above is all and only my opinion - all subject to change and not meant to be true for anyone else regardless of how I phrase it.

Quote Swedish Behavioral Scientist Introduces Eating Human Flesh At Food Conference As Emergency Measure For Climate Change
    Celia Farber
    September 22, 2019

Climate change alarmism has taken a macabre turn that looks like satire, but isn’t.

    It happened in Sweden.

At a summit for food of the future (the climate-ravaged future) called Gastro Summit, in Stockholm on Sept. 3 to 4, a professor held a PowerPoint presentation asserting that we must “awaken the idea” of eating human flesh in the future, as a way of combating the effects of climate change.

In a talk titled “Can You Imagine Eating Human Flesh?”, behavioral scientist and marketing strategist Magnus Soderlund from the Stockholm School of Economics argued for the breaking down of ancient taboos against desecrating the human corpse and eating human flesh.

He refers to the taboos against it as “conservative” and discusses people’s resistance to it as a problem that could be overcome, little by little, beginning with persuading people to just taste it. He can be seen in his video presentation and on Swedish channel TV4 saying that since food sources will be scarce in the future, people must be introduced to eating things they have thus far considered disgusting—among them, human flesh.

Easier sells he suggests include pets and insects, but human flesh was the central topic. In Swedish articles describing this new debate, the term “mannisko-kotts branschen” is introduced. This means “the human flesh industry.”

In his bio at the Stockholm School of Economics, Soderlund states that his research focus includes “consumer behavior,” “marketing stimuli,” “loyalty, emotions, justice perceptions,” “psychological reactions,” and “in a society increasingly obsessed with consumption.”

People can be “tricked,” Soderlund teases, into “making the right decisions.”

Conflating resistance to eating human flesh with capitalist selfishness, the seminar’s talking points ask:

“Are we humans too selfish to live sustainably?

“Is cannibalism the solution to food sustainability in the future? Does Generation Z have the answers to our food challenges? Can consumers be tricked into making the right decisions? At GastroSummit, you will get some answers to these questions—and also partake in the latest scientific findings and get to meet the leading experts.”

In his talk, Soderlund asks the audience how many would be open to the idea. Not many hands go up. Some groaning is heard. When interviewed after his talk, he reports brightly that 8 percent of conference participants said they would be open to trying it. When asked if he himself would try it, he replies, “I feel somewhat hesitant but to not appear overly conservative … I’d have to say … I’d be open to at least tasting it.”

The logo for the talk, titled “Food of the Future: Worms, Grasshoppers, or Human Flesh,” features a splash of blood as part of the graphic design.

What Soderlund doesn’t mention, curiously, is the long documented science on the biological effects of cannibalism.

A tribe called the Fore lived in isolation in Papua New Guinea until the 1930s. They believed in eating their dead, rather than allowing them to be consumed by worms. This led to an epidemic of a disease called “kuru,” or “the laughing death,” caused by ingestion of human flesh. This disease wasn’t caused by a pathogen, but rather, a “twisted protein” (according to an NPR report) that tricks other proteins in the brain to twist like it, damaging the brain’s cerebellum. Researchers compared it to Dr. Jekyll’s transformation. The last victim of kuru died in 2009.

Whoever is in charge of Sweden’s public relations is doing an abysmal job. That’s unless the new brand is that this small Northern country—obsessed with atheism and political correctness—is now cooler than ever for resetting all previously known boundaries of “noir.”

    And madness.

The incredulity she expresses over the horrors that vaccines are perpetrating is probably typical of what most of us must experience before we take the next step into understanding that what we are dealing with is planetary genocide.

How Climate Alarmists Killed Their Own U.N. Conference in Chile
    James Taylor
    November 3, 2019
    https://www.theepochtimes.com/how-cl...e_3135751.html

"Riots in Chile forced Chilean President Sebastian Pinera to announce on that Chile could no longer host a United Nations climate conference scheduled for December. Climate activists are scrambling in disarray, hoping to find a replacement nation to host the Conference of the Parties Climate Conference (COP25) at a future date, but they have themselves to blame for the conference being cancelled. Aggressive Chilean climate policies that have raised energy costs, raised transportation costs, and taken money out of Chilean household budgets sparked the riots that caused the Chilean government to back out of hosting the U.N. conference.

Media outlets are currently claiming income inequality is the reason people in Chile are rioting in the streets. As the same media outlets properly noted last week, however, the protests began in response to fare hikes for the Santiago Metro, which hit low-income people especially hard.

The Metro fare hikes became inevitable after the Chilean government waged war on affordable energy in the name of battling climate change. Metro fares are rising, even as oil and gasoline prices are falling, because government officials in 2018 converted most of the Metro’s energy mix to expensive wind and solar power. The Chilean government also hit conventional power throughout the country with new carbon dioxide taxes, further raising energy and transportation costs for the Chilean people.

Before the Chilean Metro riots, climate activists claimed Chile and its war on conventional energy was a shining example for the rest of the world. The United Nations awarded former Chilean President Michelle Bachelet a Champion of the Earth prize in 2017 for rapidly expanding renewable power in Chile’s energy mix. Renewable power advocates claimedrenewable power for the Santiago Metro and throughout Chile would be inexpensive. Media outlets called Chile a “poster child for renewable energy” and reported renewable energy would likely lower Chilean energy prices. Climate activists therefore believed Santiago would be the perfect place to show off renewable energy and aggressive climate policies at COP25.

Yet coal, oil, and natural gas power most of the world’s energy use because they are much more affordable than wind and solar power. Chile has discovered this the hard way, as Chile’s carbon dioxide taxes and renewable energy programs caused an 18 percent hike in electricity prices during the past year. Chilean officials had announced an additional 9 percent electricity price hike for later in 2019, but cancelled that in response to the ongoing riots. Even before the announced 9 percent electricity price hike, Chilean electricity prices had skyrocketed to the highest in all of South America and among the highest in the entire world.

Chileans are not the first people to riot as a result of rising energy prices caused by climate activist government policies. In France, carbon dioxide taxes imposed on gasoline initiated the 2018 Yellow Vest protests that continue to this day. In Ecuador this October, rioters forced government officials to flee the capital after the government announced a deal with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) that would end price subsidies for conventional energy sources and raise conventional energy prices. The Ecuadorian government, which relies on the IMF for monetary loans, struck its deal with the IMF after the IMF published a paper earlier in 2019 criticizing price subsidies for conventional energy for allegedly increasing carbon dioxide emissions.

Meanwhile, the United Nations is suffering its third major climate conference embarrassment in the past year. U.N. officials were embarrassed at last December’s COP24 in Katowice, Poland, when climate-skeptic Polish government officials hosted the event, and when Solidarity labor union officials held a press conference at COP24 criticizing U.N. climate programs.

Following on the heels of the Poland debacle, Brazilian government officials expressed doubt about an asserted climate crisis, criticized U.N. overreach, and announced it was withdrawing as host of COP25 this December.

And now, after Chilean government officials offered to host COP25 in Brazil’s place and show off their climate and renewable energy programs, those same programs sparked the widespread riots that forced the cancellation of the Santiago climate conference.

After all the pain Chile’s climate programs imposed on the Chilean people, it is only fitting that the United Nations should have to look elsewhere to host their conference.

Climate Hoaxes -- Either Too Hot or Too Cold

    henrymakow.com

"The real enemy is humanity itself."

    Humanity is whose real enemy?

The Illuminati. The people who control our money, politicians, media, churches, and education. Why would we trust Satanists who murdered 3000 Americans on 9-11?

    Latest:

    by Andrew
    (henrymakow.com)

In 1975, the mass media panicked Americans with a phantom Ice Age.

Our government pushed "the coming ice age."

Random House dutifully printed "THE WEATHER CONSPIRACY ... coming of the New Ice Age." This may be the only book ever written by 18 authors. All 18 lived just a short sled ride from Washington, D.C. Newsweek fell in line and did a cover issue warning us of global cooling on April 28, 1975. (See below)

And The New York Times, Aug. 14, 1976, reported: "many signs that Earth may be headed for another ice age." https://www.newsweek.com/newsweek-re...cooling-252326

The Global Cooling Scare fizzled, so in 1991, mass media initiated a new fear campaign called Global Warming which later became Climate Change.

American propaganda needed a new enemy. The media couldn't use the Red Scare anymore because, in 1990, the USSR collapsed into 15 harmless post-Soviet states, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan.

To fill the POLITICAL ENEMY VACUUM, The Club of Rome announced in 1991, Chapter 5 of THE FIRST GLOBAL REVOLUTION that our new enemy was GLOBAL WARMING.
"In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea of pollution, the threat of global warming: water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill. All these dangers are caused by human intervention and its only through changed attitudes and behavior that they can be overcome...The real enemy then is humanity itself."
This Global Warming propaganda began with Al Gore's 2006 documentary, An Inconvenient Truth, claiming that CO2 caused GLOBAL WARMING. Gore claimed the scientific community unanimously supported his message; however, real scientists joined together to produce a rebuttal documentary in 2007, The Great Global Warming Swindle. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H3Ih...BADA23B1E572B0 They explained that yes the Earth has been warming since last Ice Age 20,000 years ago (except for a brief Interglacial Period 11,000 years ago).

Even 8000 years ago, what today is the Arabian and Sahara Deserts were lush grasslands with abundant rainfall, rivers and lakes. The serious Earth warming began 5000 years ago caused by shifts in Earth's axis and greater solar radiation. The Industrial Revolution and burning of coal and petroleum fuels began in the 17th Century when instead of warming, Earth experienced a Little Ice Age between 1645-1715.

What Al Gore, Greta Thunberg and the rest of the alarmist fail to explain is how CO2 representing less than 1/2 of 1% of Earth's atmosphere supposedly causes GLOBAL WARMING. CO2 is a HEAVY terrestrial gas; its molecular weight is 44 which is so heavy (relative to Nitrogen and Oxygen, 99% of Earth atmosphere) CO2 remains close to the ground providing fuel for vegetation's photosynthesis. Plants need CO2 the way animals need OXYGEN.

    So is everything OK?

    NOT EXACTLY!

Solar activity in the form of our sun's flares and sunspots surprised scientists with a premature SOLAR MINIMUM 2 years ago.

But don't panic because we're only in for a chillier than normal winter.

I have observed this matter being debated over many years now and the most disappointing realisation by far is the frailty in people. Frailty in the arguments would not happen without ubiquitous frailty in people and how they think.

In this piece of writing, I will use the expression, “global warming” because I don’t like the term “climate change”. Use of the term climate change spurs the totally useless and pejorative term “climate denier” which is often shortened to “denier” and that triggers thoughts of “truth denier”. All these terms are designed and created to confuse something already hopelessly confused.

Lets be clear. The most important thing about the global warming topic is that is almost impossible to be certain about whether we are headed for super hot times or an ice age. Both extremes are possible and the ice core records show clearly that both extremes do happen with alarming frequency. In essence, the point I will make here is it is impossible today to say whether global warming will cause us, meaning now and future generations, any harm or not. Further, while it is irrefutable that net CO2 emissions do have a warming effect, it is completely unclear whether the anthropogenic warming effect due to man-made CO2 emissions has or will have ANY significant economic or environmental impact. The science is just not clear despite any beatings from the United Nations group, IPCC, or Greta Thunberg.

We live in a horrible world with powerful forces doing their best to remain dominant and people on this forum should be well aware of the agenda’s of powerful elites and precisely how extremely intelligent they are. So is the global warming scare all a big lie? We cant yet say. What we can say is that a gigantic lie is being told in connection with this topic. I will explain.

The lie I want to make clear is not that anthropogenic global warming is an existential threat to man or even harmful or even the exact opposite. The BIG lie told us by Al Gore and his cohorts is that there is a 95% to 99% consensus that we have a climate crisis. There is a 99.99% consensus on the question of “is the climate changing”, yes. But, there is almost no consensus on anything else. The BIG lie is “this is all settled science”. Its nothing like it. I have attended a two-day conference in London with the hall filled by concerned scientists giving lectures on why the science is no where close to being settled. When you have Nobel winning scientists giving lectures on why the anthropogenic global warming claims are lies by exaggeration, you need to take pause. When reportedly 500 scientists write an open letter to the UN headed, “there is no climate crisis”, you need to take pause.

You need to say, “HANG ON, I am highly concerned about the environment and cleaning up the planet, but if they are lying about this consensus, what else might they be lying about?”

It is saddening to see highly reputable climate scientists now being kicked out of universities for writing peer reviewed papers which point away from global warming being a major problem. Universities are heavily dependent on funding from rich corporations and you would be wise to question the motives of those corporations and their shadowy owners.

The lie to be exposed is there is no consensus on this topic, but we are being told the exact opposite.

Yet centres of political power have given an official seal of approval to the global warming scare – therefore the science must be settled, right? Sadly not. The EU which has gone as far as issuing CO2 reducing directives is just as liable to have its thinking nobbled as anyone reading this post. I am certain that extremely intelligent lobbyists managed to convince EU Commission mandarins that the science is settled and, because of that, there is an existential problem which must be addressed. On that basis, these lobbyists persuaded the EU to issue laws which give preference to diesel engined cars and to wind powered electricity. Where those lobbyists clean hearted or were they working for German car makers and industrialists. Most likely the latter. The diesel favouring laws where implemented because German car makers told their EU lobbyists that Germany had a clear competitive advantage in that direction. Their lobbyists told them, “fine, but we can't lobby the EU directly to make a diesel favouring law just because that is what you do best”. And so we go and so we go.

And besides I think I am right in saying that nigh on 50% of all man-made CO2 emissions are caused by 4 countries and all 4 are either exempted from the Paris accord or have withdrawn from it. As a result, western Europe’s politicians have apparently willingly imposed CO2 policies which have a very damaging effect on the economy of Western Europe knowing this won't do anything much at all except create taxes and cause economic harm.

Would it not have been better for the lobbyists to spend their lobbying bullets on persuading Russia, USA, China and India to see the light?

I am just concerned about climate as anyone else. I am even more concerned about cleaning a dirtied planet. But these noble topics have been politically nobbled and thereby made truth discovery almost impossible.

    For now at least.

I do sense an academic fight back is starting. Noble scientists are beginning to risk their careers to join the fight for true science. As true as we can manage in any event.

A story covering the fraud in the scientific consensus from the Washington Times:

Quote 'Climate emergency' declaration takes heat for fictional 'world scientists'

By Valerie Richardson - The Washington Times - Monday, November 11, 2019
There was something goofy about the petition signed by 11,258 “world scientists” from 153 countries declaring a “climate emergency.”

One “scientist” was named “Mouse, Micky” from the “Micky Mouse Institute for the Blind, Nambia.” Another was Albus Dumbledore, headmaster of Hogwarts. And then there was “Araminta Aardvark” from the fictional University of Neasden.

Among the “Alliance of World Scientists” members who were apparently real people, many identified themselves as teachers, students, administrators, statisticians, economists, technicians, therapists, doctors, psychologists — not climate scientists.

As it turns out, however, being recognized as a “world scientist” may be easier than you think.

The alliance is a project of the Oregon State University College of Forestry, which invited “all scientists” to add their names to the four-page statement, “World Scientists’ Warning of a Climate Emergency,” by clicking on a green “sign the article” button on the college’s website.

Following a round of fact-checking in the press and on social media, the college removed 34 names, including “Micky,” “Araminta” and “Dumbledore,” bringing the total to 11,224 signatories on the Nov. 5 article published in the journal BioScience, part of the Oxford University Press.

“During our original signature screening process, we attempted to remove all signatures that appeared to be invalid,” said a post on the OSU website. “Although, a few invalid ones were missed. We are thoroughly reviewing the full list at the moment and will make further updates if required.”

That said, the less-than-scientific signature-gathering process and ensuing media mockery did no favors for the climate-crisis movement, nor the major media outlets that trumpeted the story.

“More than 11,000 scientists from around the world declare a ‘climate emergency,’” said the headline in the Washington Post.

Said the CNN article: “11,000 scientists warn of ‘untold suffering’ caused by climate change.”

“Climate crisis: 11,000 scientists warn of ‘untold suffering,’” said the [U.K.] Guardian, while ABC News reported, “11,000 scientists sign declaration of global climate emergency.”

Ezra Levant, a conservative commentator on Canada’s Rebel News, said the alliance is “not a thing. It’s a one-page homemade website set up by some guy in the forestry department at Oregon State University.”

He noted that one signer identified his speciality as “BS Detection and Analysis.”

“I’m sorry, but that’s a joke,” Mr. Levant said on his Thursday show. “But it sure was important for the propaganda to say there were 11,000 scientists signing this. I wonder, are there even 11,000 climate scientists in the world? Maybe, come to think of it, because what a great way to get government grants.”

    No Michael Mann

Climate Depot’s Marc Morano noted that the alliance posted a similar declaration in 2017, and that both were spearheaded by OSU forestry professor William J. Ripple, but that the previous petition was signed by 15,000 “world scientists.”

“Here we go again: The same organization is attempting to recycle their non-scientific commentary about a ‘climate emergency’ with a heavy dose of grad students, social workers, psychologists, veterinarians, librarians, and of course, Disney’s famous mouse character,” said Mr. Morano in an email.

Cracked Breitbart’s James Delingpole: “Now they’re down to just 11,000. Presumably, this time, Professors Donald Duck, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, the Little Mermaid, the Seven Dwarfs and the 101 Dalmatians just weren’t available.”

Australian climate blogger JoNova pointed out that none of the world’s leading climate scientists, including Penn State’s Michael Mann and NASA’s Gavin Schmidt, signed the article.

“Strangely, the world’s about to die and yet none of the top climate scientists are willing to put their name on the list,” she said.

The biggest kahuna on the article may be Stanford biology professor Paul Ehrlich, author of the 1968 doomsday book, “The Population Bomb,” which may explain the petition’s focus on reducing world population to combat climate change. He was also listed as a “contributing reviewer.”

In his bestselling book, Mr. Ehrlich predicted that “hundreds of millions of people will starve to death” in the 1970s due to global overpopulation. He famously lost a 1980 bet with economist Julian Simon over whether commodity prices would rise or fall in the next decade, with Mr. Ehrlich predicting they would rise due to scarcity.

“How fitting if he is involved in the ‘climate emergency,’ since he was the inventor of the population emergency,” said Mr. Morano.

The Washington Times has reached out to Mr. Ehrlich, Mr. Ripple and Oregon State for comment.

The article declared that “the planet Earth is facing a climate emergency” and recommended eliminating fossil-fuel use; increasing forestation; eating more plant-based foods and less meat; lowering fertility rates, and curtailing economic growth.

“Our goals need to shift from GDP growth and the pursuit of affluence toward sustaining ecosystems and improving human well-being by prioritizing basic needs and reducing inequality,” said the alliance.

Mr. Morano described the piece as “a political activist ‘statement’ designed to lobby for ‘social and economic justice’ and ‘a sustainable and equitable future.’”

“Despite the obvious agenda and flaws of this declaration, the media promoted it as expected,” he added.

This article that Dr Joseph Ferrell blogged about is so far into the Realm of the Absurd it may prod your dark-humored side to laugh.

Perhaps Professor Donald Duck et al were available and they're rewriting the definition of Science?

    NOVEMBER 19, 2019

CLIMATE CHANGE RESPONSIBLE FOR EXPLODING AMMO DUMPS

I'm still laughing at this one folks; these people are really getting desperate, and now have the cheek to present some pretty serious nonsense in a "science" journal.

Yes, you read that headline correctly: all those exploding ammo dumps that have been in the news in recent months are due to... climate change, according to this article sent along by G.B.:

Climate Change May Be Blowing Up Arms Depots

And here's the gist of this Scientific American article:

Quote It was a little before 4 A.M., on an airless morning in June 2018, when the arms depot in Baharka, Iraqi Kurdistan, blew up. Brightening the dawn sky for kilometers around, the blast sent rockets, bullets and artillery rounds hurtling in every direction. Officials say no one was killed. But were it not for the early hour and reduced garrison, the death toll might well have been horrendous.

A year later, another arsenal exploded just to the southwest of Baharka, reportedly destroying millions of dollars’ worth of ammunition amassed during the fight against ISIS. Two similar blasts around Baghdad followed a few weeks after that, killing and wounding dozens of people between them. Before the end of this past summer, at least six munitions sites had gone up in flames in Iraq alone, according to Iraqi security sources.

While details of the blasts were scarce, investigators agreed that most incidents shared a common theme: hot weather. Each explosion came in the midst of a long, scorching Iraqi summer, when temperatures routinely topped 45 degrees Celsius (113 degrees Fahrenheit). And they all struck just as powerful heat waves ramped up. Explosives experts say such intense heat can weaken munitions’ structural integrity, cause the thermal expansion of explosive chemicals and damage protective shields.
Well, gee, color me surprised. High heat can cause munitions to explode? Rats! I was just about to barbecue my Big Bertha projectiles, and here I find out that lighting fires under munitions is probably not a good idea! But forget about lighting fires, it's all climate change:

Quote As climate change raises summer temperatures and boosts the number and severity of heat waves the world over, weapons experts warn of more of such unplanned explosions at munitions sites, or UEMS—particularly in places that are already steeped in conflict or have poor stockpile management, or both. This potent combination is fueling a spate of destruction and death that has residents of heavily militarized areas on edge. “As soon as it gets hot, we fear the worst,” says Emad Hassan, a welder in Dora, a Baghdad neighborhood that has experienced several depot disasters.
So which is it? Climate change? Or merely poor storage problems, as the article backhandedly admits is actually the case? If the former, I have to be quite honestly extremely skeptical: the Russian ammo dump explosions didn't occur in "high heat areas," and as for storing ammunition safely, well, the Russians have been doing that for a pretty long time now and doing it with lots of munitions (Q.v. World War Two).

And as for ammo dumps in the desert, high heat, and explosions, I have a couple of other difficulties with this climate change narrative that can be summed up in six words: "German Africa Corps" and "British Eighth Army" (q.v. Generals Wavell, Auchinlek, Graziani, Bastico, Cunningham, Ritchie, Rommel, &c).

You may remember those entities as they chased each other around North Africa in sweltering heat from 1941 to 1943, shooting munitions at each other in temperatures of over a hundred degrees, and I don't recall reading about any exploding British, Italian, or German ammo dumps due to problems with climate change, high heat and poor storage. But now all of a sudden, Africa Corps and Eighth Army notwithstanding, we have a new fear to add to our fear porn list: high heat and exploding ammo dumps.

If all that sounds silly, that's because it is, just like the article. Yea, I get the business about long term storage and the breakdown of chemical stabilizers and so on. But isn't that a storage and use problem, having nothing to do with climate change? And the British Eighth Army comes to mind once again. Before its massive North African desert offensives in 1941 and again in 1942, the British stockpiled massive amounts of munitions and petrol in the desert for weeks... moving it, stockpiling it, and moving it again, and as far as I know, did so without incident. So color me skeptical again... there's something massively wrong with this article and its breezy assertions and attempts to tie all this to climate change.

I am still waiting to hear something on the media about the Thanksgiving travel of 50MM Americans by car and 1000's of flights on the climate and CO2 levels.
