It seems like Ben is running away from factual reality... sad!

Here are the actual data for that "heat":

New Antarctic heat map reveals hot spots beneath the ice

    by Robert
    November 20, 2017

Geothermal heat sources suspiciously close to areas where the ice has been melting.
    ____________________

An international team of scientists led by British Antarctic Survey (BAS) has produced a new map showing how much heat from the Earth’s interior is reaching the base of the Antarctic Ice Sheet. The map was published last week (13 Nov 2017) in the journal Geophysical Research Letters.

According to a press release from the BAS,
“the team has produced the most up to date, accurate and high-resolution map of the so called ‘geothermal heat flux’ at the base of the Antarctic Ice Sheet.”

Map of geothermal heat beneath the Antarctic Ice Sheet .
“Magnetic measurements mainly collected by aircraft reveal the ‘hot spots’ under the West Antarctic Ice Sheet and on the Antarctic Peninsula. These areas are the most rapidly changing areas of the Antarctic Ice Sheet.” (Italics added).”
“The new study from BAS uses over 50 years of magnetic measurements that were collected from thousands of hours flying over the continent. Warmer rocks lose their magnetic properties, and so the team was able to use the loss of magnetism in certain areas to calculate an estimate of the geothermal heat flux.”
You’d think a discovery such as this would make it clear that geothermal activity is melting the ice. But oh, no, the BAS has other ideas.

Even though “the most rapidly changing areas of the Antarctic Ice Sheet” (areas where the ice is melting) are located in the same areas as the geothermal hotspots, the BAS seems unable to grasp that there may be a cause-and-effect relationship.
“The ice loss we’ve seen in recent decades is actually the result of changes in air and ocean temperatures,” says BAS Science Director and glaciologist Professor David Vaughan.
Uh huh. I wonder if Professor Vaughn also thinks El Niño (which warms the Pacific Ocean) is caused by humans.

New map of Antarctic geothermal heat suggests Steig & Mann 2009 weren’t measuring ‘global warming’

Mexican snowpocalypse exposes all-out AGW fraud

Mexican snowpocalypse exposes all-out AGW fraud

    By Kenneth Lund

The Snowpocalypse in northern Mexico explains it all – the total and complete all-out fraud and exposed lie of global warming and the carbon tax since it all started back in the 70’s. People who were not sure before now understand that they were taken for a ride.

The fact that Mexico is frozen from coast to coast beneath the tropic of cancer is strong evidence of climatic cooling in the last 75 years – like most of us already knew. This would not be the case if it hadn’t turned colder since the 1940’s. Any of these past charts showing this supposed increase in surface temps between 1980 and 2000 is a complete misrepresentation of facts. If you look at the John Daly website of station temps in rural areas, (some dating back to late 1700’s) you see no change at all during that time frame. (plus the satellite record confirms that trend in the 80’s)

And since 2000, land areas have cooled by over 1 degree F, along with all-time record ice growth in Greenland, Antarctica and over 90 percent of glaciers growing.

GW is the biggest fraud and lie in the history of the human race since homo sapiens were first walking on the planet.

It is the next ice age we need to fear and the freezing of our crops.

We will be fighting in the streets for food long before we’re covered by ice.

    *** Update ***

Kenneth Lund December 9, 2017 at 4:13 pm

I nearly forgot to mention, that also includes Brownsville,TX and the deep south USA in stating that none of this record snowfall would be happening (especially in early December) if anything they were saying were true since the mid 70’s.

    -----------------------------------------------

Jim Stone's testimony from down there, in Mexico:
IT IS SNOWING ALL OVER MEXICO

Update: The water did not freeze. Last night I put out a pan of water to see if it would freeze because it seemed cold enough to, but the weather warmed up overnight.

Highways are jammed with stuck semi's and are not moving at all. The Mexican states of Sonora, Chiuaua, Nuevo Leon, Coahuila, Durango, and Zacotecas are all experiencing freezing temperatures of -5 celsius or more during the day. It is obviously going to freeze in Aguascalientes and Guanajuato tonight.

The Mexican news showed scenes of highways in all the states above, and it looks like a snowpocalypse. Some areas are just good for snowball fights but they went through the states one at a time and several of them had snow so deep the semis were stranded on the highways. The video they showed had everything at a standstill

The tropics are defined as zones that do not freeze. Much of this snow zone is below the tropic of cancer. The entire country of Mexico is predominantly frozen from coast to coast. It has been decades since that has happened. This would be impossible if global warming was as advertised, and snowstorms really are a thing of the past. Al Gore just got exposed by an inconvenient truth!

Yes, and while Mexico is stuck in the snow, Mexicans are enjoying a very steep new U.N. mandated carbon tax!

Insanity all around... Global warming is a myth.

If media actually told the truth, what would happen to humanity. Would it awaken?
Now the media only feeds propaganda and lies which masses of people buy hook, line, and sinker.

Will anyone be ever held accountable for spinning the lies? I think not.

What was he saying about the grand solar something? I checked the links at the bottom, but I didn't see any information on that. Can someone guide me in a direction to learn more?

EDIT: I'm watching the vid Cidersomerset posted. This may be my answer. Thanks, C!

I know the sun has its cycles and activities, but I need to start with simple, basic information. Some of the information I've seen is hard to relate to. I need a big picture viewpoint. Real. Scientific. No agendas.

    Thanks responders!

The grand solar minimum which translates to a mini ice age or to a maunder minimum. All are related.

In the next few years, or in the 2020's we could possibly see the sun going without any sunspots and the effects of that will be felt here on Earth. We already are feeling it.

If someone tells you that the sun isn't the main driver of all weather and climate on Earth and in our solar system, they simply don't know what they're talking about or they're lying.

    Eighteen-hundred-and-froze-to-death: 1816, The Year Without a Summer

    By Shirley T. Wajda

Quote Reverend Thomas Robbins may have thought he had seen it all. After all, a decade earlier he, as a Congregational missionary, traveled to the frontier lands of New Connecticut in northeastern Ohio, where he endured torrential summer downpours, deep winter freezes, and a variety of temperamental fevers and chills. That experience—a long three years—broke his health, and he returned to Connecticut to recuperate. Now, in 1816, he lived in East (now South) Windsor, where he enjoyed a comfortable house, an enviable collection of books (which became the core of the Connecticut Historical Society), and the busy schedule of a minister.

As he had done since 1796, Robbins recorded in his diary the weather and, if not the weather, his activities that revealed the weather. In the first days of March 1816, Robbins planted peas. A week later he noted that the day was “quite warm.” Three days later, on March 12, he noted that it was “cold and wet.” It snowed, and two days later the ground was “considerably frozen.” He would not attempt to replant peas until the end of April.

This was the pattern for the rest of 1816, a year in which famine occurred in New England, remembered for years as “the year without a summer,” “eighteen-hundred-and-froze-to-death,” and the “poverty year.” In April, Robbins cleared his asparagus beds, “but the weather is so cold that vegetation does not appear to advance at all.” In May, the fruit trees bloomed, a hopeful sign, but three weeks into the month several great frosts occurred, threatening the fruit and ruining planted crops. Cold winds blew in June, so much so that “most people that are out wear great coats” and “a steady fire is required.” (The clockmaker Chauncey Jerome, then living in Plymouth, wrote years later, “I well remember the 7th of June. While on my way to work, about a mile from home, dressed throughout with thick woolen clothes and an overcoat on, my hands got so cold that I was obliged to lay down my tools and put on a pair of mittens which I had in my pocket.”) On June 9, Robbins observed that “the cold and wind still continue. The last three days have been extraordinary. It is said that there was snow at the northward last Thursday.” Confirmation of that snow appears in a later entry. On June 10, Chauncey Jerome’s wife “brought in some clothes that had been spread on the ground the night before, which were frozen stiff as in winter.”

Snow in the northwestern part of the state and frost in the southeastern part of the state were ruinous. Williams College professor Chester Dewey observed that “the trees on the side of the hills, whose young leaves were killed by the frost, presented for miles the appearance of having been burned or scorched. The same appearance was visible through the country—in parts, at least, of Connecticut—and also, on many parts of Long Island.”

July, August, and September brought a contrary mix of snow, drought, and oppressive heat. On August 22 Robbins arose to find frost on the ground. The next day he observed that “the ground gets no relief from its drought.” On August 24 it was “warm” but “things grow very little.” The next day he and his congregation “had a very moderate and very refreshing rain,” but three days later Robbins noted “this morning there was considerable frost. It is a melancholy time. There was a fast here yesterday on account of the season.”

At the height of harvest season, on September 5, Robbins confided to his diary, “I presume no person living has known so poor a crop of corn in New England, at this season, as now.” By the end of the month frost had killed much of the corn crop. The low temperatures of the summer months of 1816 spelled disaster for Connecticuters. Farmers had little wheat and corn to take to market. Animals had little to eat. Prices for staples such as flour and meat rose for consumers and the drought caused forest fires, filling the skies with smoke.
Note: I left off the last part of the article as it was incorrect. Namely "Scientists also confirm that, during increased sunspot activity, the earth’s temperature is reduced."

Though it also mentions 4 volcanic eruptions as the potential driving factor of that poor summer.

    So here we find..

Quote The effects of a “volcanic winter” occur as the ash and smoke from an eruption obscure rays from the sun, decreasing their ability to heat the Earth. When Mount Tambora erupted in 1815, thousands of people died instantly, and it is considered the most destructive eruption on Earth in 10,000 years. The dust and gas it emitted into the atmosphere altered global climate for a year afterward, which is why 1816 is known as “The Year Without a Summer.” Global temperatures dipped so severely that crops failed, even in places far away from the volcano. Farms in the northern United States suffered frost damage in August, as did farms in Europe. The massive volcanic eruption triggered a global subsistence crisis, which is estimated to have killed an additional 10,000 people.

We are practically at the "no sunspots" point right now... the sun is SUPER quiet.

They say there's one sunspot today, but it's so small it's not visible to me.

Unusually Bold Climate Fraud from the UN – Video

    by Robert December 13, 2017

Tony Heller exposes yet more global warming fraud. He also comments on that starving polar bear.
    ________________________

As to that starving polar bear, I flew over Baffin Bay on Saturday (9 Dec 17), where sea ice is slightly above normal, says Tony. Whatever made this polar bear too weak to hunt has nothing to do with global warming or sea ice.

Leaving polar bears aside, in this video Tony attacks a new article entitled “Global warming may harm children for life.”

Citing U.N. sources, the article claims that by 2070 the number of days with the mean temperature above 32°C will rise from one per year right now, to 43 days per year.

“There’s so many things wrong with this claim that it’s difficult to begin.” says Tony.

To begin with, 32°C is 90°F.

A day with a 90°F mean temperature is extremely hot. An example would be a day with daytime temperatures above 100°F, and nighttime temperatures above 80°F. There are very few places in the U.S. where this could even happen, says Tony.

Especially when you realize that the trend for days when the temperature has exceeded 90°F have been declining – declining! – for the past century, since 1917.

Declining temperature trend – Courtesy Tony Heller

This phony narrative is also being pushed by Stanford and M.I.T., formerly respectable institutions, says Tony.

As a graduate of MIT’s Earth, Planetary, and Atmospheric Sciences department – in the deep and distant past, when they knew and admitted that the SUN is the source of long-term climate cycles on this planet – I am disgusted by the department’s pandering to this ANTI-scientific balderdash.

SOME of us still know, and freely admit, that the nuclear furnace ~92million miles away in space is the source of most of our major climate changes. With some help from local phenomena like volcanoes and the like.

    From Spaceweather.com:

"100 Days of spotlesness: As of yesterday, Dec. 18th, the sun has been without spots for 100 days in 2017. The last time the sun crossed this threshold was in 2009 (260 spotless days) when the solar cycle was just beginning to rebound from a century-class Solar Minimum. This time we are entering a new Solar Minimum. In 2018 we can expect at least twice as many spotless days (200+) as blank suns once again become the norm."

And now a new cooling phase will truly commence.

Over the past few days I've read news about record low temperatures in different places, especially in the US.

The new mini ice age (grand solar minimum) has barely begun and already we're seeing these kind of things. Something to consider about.

Wet dream of climate dictators: Climate skeptics to be exiled to 'international convict settlements'

Tony Thomas has unearthed a ten year old document that reads like a wet dream for mini-climate dictators. It envisages, by 2028, that the first climate skeptics will be convicted of denying the existence of climate change and exiled to three penal colonies in, wait for it, Kerguelen Island, South Georgia and New Zealand's South Island. Magically, these are "International convict settlements." So it's globalist prisons for the deplorables who say unpermitted things, because they are so bad, we wouldn't want them mixing with normal criminals back home who believe in climate change but rort the carbon markets.

Luckily their fantasy fiction is even less accurate than climate models. By 2030 they are tippin g Africa as an economic powerhouse:
2030 ... the global economy today is less dominated by the big three of China, India and the US. Instead, economic blocs such as the African Union, the Latin American Trade Council and the Alliance of Turkic States have emerged as powerful players on the scene.
As Tony Thomas points out they also estimated oil would rise from $150 in 2008 to $400 by 2022. So far it has risen all the way to $60. They also predicted a global depression in 2009-18. Instead we got "Dow Record highs ". I guess they didn't see Donald Trump coming either.

And by 2020 they predict that not only will there be no snow in the Northern Hemisphere, there will be "No more Winter." Though I expect Canadians and Americans are disappointed to know that five feet of snow can still fall in a New Year "spring".

This dream is so wet it should come with flood warnings:
"In most cases this [emissions control] has happened gradually, ratcheting up over time, with citizens surrendering control of their lives piecemeal rather than all at once, as trading regimes, international law, lifestyles and business have responded to the growing environmental crisis.

"Expensive, state-funded information campaigns reinforce the need for changes to lifestyles and aim to keep the mandate for state intervention strong. Inevitably parallels are drawn between this and the authoritarian state propaganda of the twentieth century.

"'Climate crime' is a social faux pas everywhere, but in some countries it is a crime to publicly question the existence of anthropogenic climate change or to propose actions that could in some way contribute to climate change.

"It is very rare to come across dissenting voices with any real power, but resistance to overly strong state intervention is occasionally violent. The media in some countries has been permitted to discuss ...
The climate futures fantasy would also look like manna for simple sheeple who ache to get off the treadmill, grow kale, and tye-dye hemp shirts, but don't have the balls to go do it unless everyone is forced to join them.

Over 31K scientists sign a petition against the global warming agenda

    Lance D Johnson Natural News
    Thu, 21 Sep 2017 16:23 UTC

Over 31,000 scientists have united against the political agenda of global warming. The scientific consensus, which includes over 9,000 scientists with Ph.D.s, supports the necessity of carbon dioxide and sheds light on the agenda of global warming, which includes industrial energy rationing, central economic planning, and global taxation schemes. These scientists are now speaking out against the hoax of global warming and how global agreements to limit greenhouse gases are actually destructive to all plant and animal life on the planet.

The petition, which includes important peer-reviewed research, is backed by various scientists with a wide spectrum of expertise. The petition warns the United States about signing international treaties that only put a financial burden on the citizens of the country, steal national sovereignty, and restrict its energy production. The global warming alarmism, in other words, is pseudo-warfare designed to take down a country.

A letter from Frederick Seitz, President of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences, is also being circulated with the petition. The letter warns about the flawed science against carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide is essentially a miracle molecule of life, not a dangerous pollutant that needs to be eradicated from the atmosphere. His letter also shines a light on the dangers of the U.S. entering global treaties which will ration energy and confiscate the Nation's wealth.

Just because climate alarmist Al Gore can walk a stage, point to a graph, and correlate rising temperatures over oceans with a rise in greenhouse gases, does not make global warming a real issue or some kind of "settled science" that is going to destroy the planet. As the scientists point out, the vapor pressure of CO2 over sea water is temperature dependent. It's natural for the two data sets to go up together. It's not something to be alarmed about.

The petition urges elected leaders to reject the global warming agreement that was written in Kyoto, Japan in December 1997 and all other proposals similar in nature. Thankfully, President Trump broke the U.S. free from the Paris Climate Accord. Removing greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide would actually hurt the planet, taking away the compound that plants need to thrive. If carbon dioxide is so bad for the planet, why do greenhouse growers buy CO2 generators to double plant growth?

The petition and its accompanying research dispel the myth that projected carbon dioxide levels are going to cause a catastrophic heating of the Earth's atmosphere and the disruption of climate. The evidence is actually in favor of greenhouse gases, which are beneficial to plant and animal environments on Earth. The petition also takes aim at the global warming agenda, and says that it will hinder the advancement of science and technology around the world. The confiscation of U.S. energy output is a threat to U.S. sovereignty and the nation's ability to offer aid to other countries. What if climate change alarmists just took a deep breath, exhaled some carbon dioxide, and actually focused on real pollutants that are plaguing our environment and health?

Carbon taxes and tricky laws that, by what I surmise so far, will play into the hands of the globalists through weather warfare, disaster "relief" schemes, and corporatized government in private hands.
???[public-private partnerships; land grabs; funding stipulations; facade of citizen involvement when controls are in place]???

The agenda is becoming known, but not fully understood. Because of weaponized language that deceive people into supporting these schemes, innocent people are falling for this. So far.

They use terms like: sustainability, economy, environment, energy efficiency, etc.

Their methods are subtle, but they are seeping in to our communities.

Before I knew much, if anything, about Agenda 21 and the purpose of the global warming/climate change agenda, I went to a "Summer Institute on Sustainability" for teachers and I kept the materials. We got 2 credits from Portland State University for attending this program. What seems to be happening is that there are codes being developed that could become law for control over people and their energy use.

I will include some pictures from the materials they gave us.

Inculcate the teachers so they will inculcate the students, then let the students inculcate their parents. Is that the plan? Seems like it. Or at least one facet.

I'm in research mode -- looking at what is happening with this here in my community, and seeing how much it has progressed up to now. I was not as alert to what was going on before the California fires and the Deborah Tavares information.
