Default How will Trump react against Syria?

How is Trump and what is he going to do about the recent chemical attack on Syria...recent TV news is suggesting he believes that Assad is involved. I am not so sure, anyway clip below from Rumor....

    http://www.rumormillnews.com/cgi-bin...cgi?read=72714

However evil Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad Assad may be, by most accounts he is a shrewd operator. So why would he order the use of horrific Sarin gas to kill innocent civilians, including scores of tiny babies only days after the United States gave clear signals that ousting him was no longer a priority? That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

What makes far more sense is that the attack was a false flag intended to return the United States to its previous hard core position and quite possibly provoke an attack. Such false flag chemical attacks have been alleged before and Russian leader Vladimir Putin, who also has nothing to gain from such a gas attack, insists that this attack was not carried out by Syrian or Russian forces. If it is a false flag, it appears to be working. The usual group of saber rattlers are calling for military strikes and a visibly shaken President Trump has said that it has caused him to rethink and reverse his position on Syria and he has virtually promised a military response is coming.

As horrific as we can all agree that such a vile act took place, should we not make sure that we know the absolute truth is before we take actions that will put us into conflict with both Syria and Russia and risk destabilizing Syria to the point that another radical Muslim regime takes over which is much more hostile to the United States? The same as has happened in Libya and for awhile happened in Egypt?

While the rest of us cringe at the images of dying and suffering children, somehow I imagine members of the "Deep State" toasting drinks and giving each other high fives.

I don't believe Assad is behind it either. Forget anything broadcast by the BBC it is all pro NATO anti Russian biased propaganda. They really do take us for idiots in that they think we don't see the Syria situation for the land grab that it is.

    who is telling the truth?

here is one of the comments on for this video

" Assad, a proud strong leader who leads and loves his nation, helped it prosper and advance in all areas before the war, could order his military who are brave men that joined the military because they love their land and countrymen and to serve and protect their own people to chemical bomb random civilians of Syria. Do you really think Assad and educated man and leader after all I just said will order the miltary to do this knowing he is winning on all fronts and the international community is slowly turning in his favor to bomb random civilians of his own country? Do you really think the Syrian army men and women after what I said above will actually sit there and plan and prepare a chemical weapon attack or military objective against a non military target of random civilians of their nation. LOL this is what these idiots actually believe. Infact these acts I describe are what America has done to its own and has used its own people for chemical testing from the 1900s onwards especially during the world wars. its all documented. With regards to this recent event in Syria and all past chemical attacks it was either

    1. Terrorists alone
    2. Western/Saudi/Qatari/Israeli/Turkish Intelligence
    3. Terrorists with their allies of Western/Saudi/Qatar/Israeli/Turkish intelligence "

    and

"the western msm has long ago lost all credibility. ironically if you want the truth you listen to RT."

    and

"The BBC have really done my head in today acting like a. Assad never got rid of Syria's Chemical weapons and b. Ignoring the fact the terrorists/"rebels" have openly used and bragged about chemical weapons, running homemade labs to process Saudi provided materials (and when the video evidence is there for all to see!)."

and to balanced things, here's one last comment

"This comment board is 100% infested with russian uncivilized scum !"

Syria maybe making the headlines for its chem weapons - and I have no idea who to believe - I see the situation there just continuing to fester.
I am more concerned that Trump has been set up to be the President that instigates a pre-emptive conventional weapons strike against DPRK nuclear sites prompting Kim to respond with nukes against Japan - with one being allowed to get through, putting the blame on ALL radiation in the Pacific squarely on Kim's shoulders and not on the Fukushima event.

I am pretty sure that Assad isn't involved any further then perhaps the blowing up of some rebels storage of sarin gas.

A deliberate gas attack at this point in the conflict would be the absolute most stupid thing Assad could do and I don't think that Assad is a fool.

If there is anything deliberate in this gas incident, then it must be a false flag attack in order to sway public opinion in favor of a US lead intervention.

And soon again the US government & the military industrial complex will probably do what it knows best, they'll start dropping more bombs.

Hell, I'd even wager that Trump will send more ground troops to Syria in the months to come. How will the Russians react?

You never hear a reaction in western media coming from the Syrian government. Not an honest reaction anyway.

It shouldn't be difficult to determine who's responsible for the chemical attack. The military's weapons are more sophisticated and the chemical components of the military weapons and the terrorists' weapons would differ.

    Published April 4th -

Quote Similar to 2013 chemical attack, the Western governments, and corporate mainstream media accusing the Syrian government of using chemical weapons, this time in Khan Shaykhun, in Idleb.
This video discusses the disgusting and criminal usage of chemical weapons in Syria, indicating that it is not the Syrian government but the Islamist\terrorist groups behind the attacks.
    * * *

News Sniffer shows the BBC article, "Syria chemical 'attack': Trump condemns 'affront to humanity'" has been changed nine times, the changes are telling => https://www.newssniffer.co.uk/articles/1357208/diff/6/7

    Removed from article -

Quote "On the territory of the depot there were workshops which produced chemical warfare munitions."
How does the Russian theory stack up?
A chemical weapons expert, Col Hamish de Bretton-Gordon, told the BBC the Russian version of events was "pretty fanciful".
The idea that a nerve gas like Sarin could spread after a weapons manufacturing process had been bombed was "unsustainable", he added.
Hasan Haj Ali, commander of the Free Idlib Army rebel group, told Reuters news agency: "Everyone saw the plane while it was bombing with gas."
However, the official who led the UN-backed operation to remove Syria's chemical weapons told the UK's Channel 4 News that the Russian version of events could not be discounted.
"If it is Sarin that was stored there and conventional munitions were used, there is every possibility that some of those [chemical] munitions were not consumed and that the Sarin liquid was ejected and could well have affected the population," Jerry Smith said.
Local journalists say there are no military positions in the town itself but an array of broadly aligned rebel groups controlling the area surrounding it.
Critics of the Russian statement say reports of the release of gas came hours before the times stated by Mr Konoshenkov.

I agree with IW that it should be easy to determine whose weapons they are but that assumes the peasants will be told the truth when found out. We see the obvious, we can reason the obvious, but we will be shamelessly spun a tale or not be told anything even when an 800 lb gorilla is sitting in the room. We have no News, just prostitutes everywhere.

No way Assad did this as others have mentioned. No benefit to him. The world has had him under a microscope for a long time he's not going to do something like this.

I don't mean to trivialize anyone's pain but it's what's happening to trump that I'm more invested in. I think who or what is ruling things have made themselves known with the proverbial gun to his head. Is he now a 24/7 puppet? did they allow him some wiggle room, i.e. negotiation? Maybe something like - Give us the War we want and we'll let you have the Wall or obamacare replace or we'll keep Soro's goons from destroying the cities this summer.... Will they use him for their war and still spit him out, i.e. let the spite workers in congress call for impeachment for some stupid thing that no one else would suffer? I'm not even sure I believe there was an attack, but would it matter if there wasn't? I was never a good chess player.

Easy to find the fingerprint to determine who made it yes, but still in the fog of war in Syria, this might not lead to a definitive answer as to who used it.

George Webb already pointed out that US troops might have had a chance to confiscate some Syrian made sarin gas in a recent raid in Idlib, so who's to say that Sarin gas made in Syria can only be deployed by Assad?

Not sure where to put this George Webb video. George began researching pizzagate, which has taken him into other realms.

He begins talking about the recent Syrian chemical attack around 1:10. As most of us on PA are aware, it's all related when one begins to connect the dots and George has done a great job of connecting them for us. I hope many are following him.

Blessed are the cracked, for they are the ones who let in the light!

Same sh**, different day. Someone is responsible, but it sure isn't Assad. Pressure is being applied to both the U.S. and Russia, to give up support of Assad and continue to play the Neo-liberal great game of geo-politics. Russia had an Isis driven terrorist event right around the same time.

You had to know something was up when Tillerson did a 180degree shift in attitude towards Russia, last week.

It's likely he is going to release 100% proof on the source, after that its more a more difficult path to determine, but think a request to the U.N. will be made to do something.

Infowars interview w/ Joel Skousen... also posted his most recent excerpt from his World Affairs Brief... Trump is surrounded by incompetents & neocons that have infiltrated into White House positions. Together with the left-over Obama bureaucraps... the same game is being played regarding Syria.

Alex has offered Joel a segment to say what he would like to say to Trump, cuz Trump does connect w/ Infowars on occasion...

Several sources made it clear this week that the State Department continues to flood the nation with problem refugees with almost no vetting, despite Trump’s efforts to restrict it. The uphill battle for Trump is a reflection of how little of the massive government bureaucracy in Washington DC is replaced by an incoming president. While this helps maintain the continuity of government, when the vast majority of top level bureaucrats are activists on the Left, they are in a unique position to continue operating as if they are still under Barack Obama even though the presidency has changed hands. Many did not dare continue “normal” left-liberal operations in the beginning days of the Trump administration for fear of being fired, but it quickly became apparent that the Trump team was neither well organized nor ideological enough to carefully scrutinize what was going on in the vast bowels of the government. Thus, in the past month, they have all started going back to business as usual, and no one in the Trump administration is stopping them. Nothing is more exemplary of this problem than in the State Department. To receive a one-time free sample copy of the brief, email us at editor at worldaffairsbrief.com

Default Re: How will Trump react against Syria?

Daniel McAdams from the Ron Paul Institute thinks that a US attack on the Assad regime may be imminent.

    from the website:

The alleged chemical weapon attack in Syria on Tuesday is propelling the United States toward a large-scale military attack on the Assad government. The mainstream media, neoconservatives, and “humanitarian” interventionists are creating a perfect storm pressuring President Trump to take military action.

A major US attack on Syria may be imminent!

    What we know:

    1) President Trump said today that “something should happen” to Syrian President Assad for the alleged attack. Yesterday be blamed the Syrian government for the attack and said that he had done a 180 degree turn on Assad, just days after his Administration stated that regime change was no longer a US priority for Assad.

    2) The media is reporting that President Trump has tasked his Defense Secretary, James Mattis, to come up with a plan for a military strike on Syria

    3) Our sources inside the Senate have reported that the Senate Foreign Affairs committee will soon be voting on a motion condemning Assad for the chemical attack. According to our source, rank and file Members and staff are not being given any sense of what the intelligence community thinks or knows. Leadership is expecting Members and staff to fly blind through the process, with only NGOs and the McCain/Graham/Corker axis providing the information.

    What we have heard:

    1) The US had a drone in the area of the attack so the US has detailed photographic and sensor information on what actually occurred but it is not being shared either with Senators or the public.

    2) The President may have already ordered a massive US missile strike on Syria, possibly similar to the “shock and awe” that opened the Iraq war just over 15 years ago. He may intend to issue an Executive Order for the attack.

    What we do not know:

    1) How the Russians may react should the United States launch a large-scale attack on a Syrian government in which it is so deeply invested.

    2) How the region (Iran, Turkey, Saudi Arabia) may be affected in the immediate aftermath of a large-scale US attack on Syria that displaces the current Syrian government.

    3) Who will fill the void if a US attack de-facto changes the Syrian regime.

    What we suspect will happen:

    1) The House/Senate will pass a resolution condemning Assad for the attack which will contain vague language that could nevertheless reasonably be construed as an authorization to use military force.

    2) The resolution may also contain language that gives an ultimatum to Assad, similar to those given Milosevic and Saddam Hussein immediately before an American attack.

    3) Either an attack or a stand-down could occur as soon as the next few hours.

    What you can do:

It is imperative to contact your Representative and Senators as well as the White House to urge that Congress and the president take no military action against Syria with virtually no information available on the attack.

Again: A large-scale US missile attack on Syria may be imminent.

Thank you for that. The more interviews I see of him, the more I like/respect this man.
If one person told a lie about me, I would crack and be upset.
This man remains calm, polite, humble and focused.
Or am I being blind and foolish?
I hope my instincts are correct.
