I know a man who believes that females are superior to men. Despite being a woman my self, I become very agitated when he tries to prove this belief and we've had many heated debates about it over the years. He'll claim women are more trustworthy, intelligent and nurturing, that they are superior because they can bear children...

Ironically most of his favorite researchers and role models are men. He has a large book collection and the books written by men far outweigh the books written by women... whenever I bring this up to him he will disregard those facts.

Omnisense, will you be going into beliefs like this in your New Age documentary and have you ever spoken to someone who holds the same unproven belief?

I don't think there's any logic in claiming that one gender is somehow superior to the other. I appreciate the existence of both men and women as both genders have something valuable to offer the world if they choose to.

"Those seem to me to be way too many topics Omni. This will confuse the listener. Each of the 4 quadrants could be a movie in themselves with much information if you wish. My suggestion (from an oldie used to build presentations and calibrate the content for the audience attention span)"


Really it depends on how well organised and thorough the documentary will be. If there isn't enough information on each topic or if it's out of order then it could be confusing. However, it is possible to have an excellent presentation with many topics that together create a clear picture. Also leaving out important topics or in other words, pieces of the puzzle, could leave the audience confused as well.

Lately I've been watching and taking notes on Mark Passio's Natural Law seminar which is almost 9 hours long and goes into many different sub topics. To be able to process it all I choose to watch it for shorter periods at a time while doing the note taking (approx. 30 minutes to an hour a night because I have other responsibilities to take care of). After I've finished taking notes on the entire seminar I plan to go back and watch the whole thing from start to finish or in halves. It's up to the audience to have their own methods of taking in large amounts of information in whatever way is most manageable.

Worse case scenario, someone who is confused can always do their own research or ask questions for clarification.
