Thanks for this post, Whiskey, if only because I missed seeing your Bill Murray avatar. Welcome back!

Miriam's message is positive and encourages an healthy overview for understanding, and I'm glad that 2017 is, in her view, going to be one of long overdue awakening and turmoil, but her actual advice seems kinda platitudinous. I mean, most if not all of us around here are already on board. Still, she offers hope, which is nice.

Good, sensible advice, imho.
I've been resisting urges to jump on any particular political bandwagon, an instinct which we are continuously programmed to follow.
It's a very good position from which to view things dispassionately, and the unemotionally colored conclusions I've been arriving at feel much more grounded and more clear than usual as a result.
When you can see the good and the bad without prejudice, being in the middle is not a bad place to be.

I can't say that I see the same. There is a tendency, here as in other places, to choose a right side and dig in. A need to be Luke Skywalker and fight the Empire. To choose a team to root for and an opponent to root against. And even some fear responses.

There is a higher frequency approach. It's not a position of neutrality. Rather, it's an understanding that everything is a reflection of ourselves and also of the divine of which we are. And from this place we recognize that without Judas, there is no Resurrection. I have no enemies. I have only teachers.

This is also a good time to share this meeting between Miriam, Kerry, and Princess Kaoru Nakamura in 2015.

Kerry told me earlier today that she hadn't seen this because the camera crew was with the Princess and Kerry's phone had trouble recording. So this is apparently new for some folks, though Miriam has had it up for a few years. Anyway, it's a good talk.

I am a member of a community that thinks in this way. The details would be a distraction. Suffice it to say, communities are vitally important to the human experience. We should all invest in the ones we have. Like you and I are in THIS community. :-) ((hug))
