Default Evidence of terraforming, in eastern Angola?

    http://www.google.ca/maps/@-18.81768.../data=!3m1!1e3
one can zoom out and look to the south and the north and this feature is found only in this area as far as I know maybe someone else has coordinates of this occurring elsewhere.

Eastern Angola, very odd bit of landscape which is very straight and regular, which is unusual and not typical in nature.... there are a few speculations as to the nature of the cause of these features I was thinking this forum would be a good place to explore the ideas about it...is it natural or is it something technologically made?
    What do you guys think.
I do not have a bias...just looking for discussion

Certainly looks like irrigation run off system leading to sea. Possibly done way back to deter flooding during flood season off the crops. Possible?

sure looks that way..... the speculation I heard was that it was done to drain the swamps which were inland to make the area more habitable .....anecdotal and not sure if that is verified by local ancient stories, but it was attested to be......who knows..... amazing in any case....like the ancient canals in america but on a much larger scale
