They are trying to subtly blur the lines between healthy skeptics and trolls...by putting them all under the same umbrella labeled "haters".

And why aren't we naming names? That's just absurd man.

This was a soft, pathetic attempt at anesthetizing feelgoodedness. I don't think it fooled too many, but there are still surely a few out there mindlessly repeating "unity in the community" in a creepy, meditative monotone...wearing nondescript white uniforms and matching nikes, waiting for the space brothers to descend from a bright starry sky to save them.

It's hard to explain how I'm feeling towards Church at the moment. I don't exactly feel violent, but I want to lift him up by his underwear and hang him by a meat hook or something...and then pelt him with jelly beans until he confesses to being a huge f#cking chancer (my brit friend just introduced me to that word. I've been waiting to deploy it. I hope I've used it properly).

Sigh, what a letdown. I didn't expect anything in the way of authenticity, but I would have preferred to have been annoyed in a more entertaining manner.

I missed it all but the last 2 guests...but i've always enjoyed listening to Peter Davenport's UFO reports...going back to his regular late-night Art Bell radio show appearances. He seems to be a tireless worker and fairly 'innocent party', amidst all the 'mudslinging'.

Yep, disappointing! Not a total disappointment – but certainly majorly biased – and it was very obvious.

First four speakers were good, some of their points:

. too much sensationalism (in the middle group) of researchers [Top level, middle and fringe]

. most people doing the real hard work aren’t in the public sphere

. lots of the "entertainment" people on stage have done Nothing! No work at all.

. entertainment factor too big

. real whistleblowerrs won’t come forward as they will fear being ridiculed because of all the charlatans out there

. too many ego postings/shows

But it goes down a slippery biased slope from there. And yes they did allude greatly to bashing Dark Journalist. As well as Kerry Cassidy, etc because they’re old news and not invited to the conferences “so they’re jealous and people shouldn’t let them bad apples bother ‘em”. Mike Barra and John Desouza were very vocal on that whilst saying they took Wilcock and Goode on their word because they are people of good intent.

Depends what is the greatest priority within their good intentions though doesn't it, for the has such a clever way of clouding one's integrity.

They liked to throw the Hater word around as much as they could too!

Agreed! So talk to them, interview them, but don’t elevate them into celebrity promotional tour status when their claims are so “sensationalist” because people who subscribe to Gaia will by default believe whoever is promoted by Gaia.

Why can’t these intelligences understand that dichotomy?? Never mind, the stakeholder interest is glaringly obvious, so it has to be a rhetorical question.

It was interesting to discover in The Saga of Corey Goode Vid, that ufo was the 2nd, I think, most googled term which is why these corporations are all over it for investment.

Jimmy announced he was going to have a special show with a gathering of guests to discuss what he calls "has ufology been infiltrated". For about 5 seconds I actually imagined he meant it and it was going to be something important.

Even before it aired I'd realised that it was going to be like CNN or MSNBC announcing a program to discuss Fake News.

It matters not, now. He hit his target audience with his fake meme and went home to bed satisfied with himself, I'm sure.

He'd have surprised us all if he'd done the right thing and called it "Has the infiltration of ufology been rumbled".

A few notes as I am listening to the show.....

47 mins in Lee tells Jimmy that there is to much teasing without facts in ufology.....

That sums it up pretty concisely , though we all know its much more complex
with genuine research , Dis info and imagination all mixed together and seen
as entertainment rather than a science or reality by many in the mainstream....

I like what Lee said about Nick Pope being a plant which I have thought for years...

I'm into the second set of guests and this is generally vague so far ,
Jimmy keeps quoting detractors which is nothing new , still early
lets see if it goes anywhere.

Race sums it up pretty well aprox 118 mins in when he says any Tom,
Dick or Harriete can get five mins of fame on the many radio shows and
conferences these days (para phrasing) ....

I'm into the third group of guests and I still do not know who Jimmy is
referring to ? If its the critics and disinfo agents that have been there
since the beginning of ufology this is a very general discussion.

If he is trying to get at Corey bashers and the likes by asking if people are
being activated by mind control etc is vague, its amusing listening to Jimmy
trying to go somewhere with this , without getting anywhere so far...

Ah aprox 1.58 mins in Mike Bara does name David , Corey and Whitley as
Mike was at contact in the desert with Jimmy and knows the undertones of
this particular show...

Basically this was an anti climax in the sense that ufology has always and
still is infiltrated by intel and dis info agents. Though there were some
interesting comments by all the guests. I like Jimmy as a enthusiastic
interviewer who knows as much as most of us in this field and plays a part
in the community as a whole imo...

If he was interested in squashing the beef, he would have had CG and BR or DJ, or RM. Isn't rocket science to see why he didn't do this...

After the way JC hyped the show I expected more than what was delivered. After listening to the entire show, I came away feeling like I had been fooled into "click bait" like so many video's populating YouTube nowadays.

Also, his claims of "jealousy" as being one reason for the current level of discord in the UFO community rather than the pursuit of truth, speaks to me of a false narrative that others (un-named) may have desired to be broadcasted to the UFO community.

He should feel shame for such a cheap attempt at diverting attention from the real issue of truth seeking.

I'm not OK about standing back and accepting whatever it is that's happening. Even if it really is ETs calling the shots, they are having to put effort into whatever they are doing because it won't do itself.

Oh they wish, alright, but as yet, there's still a resistance. People like smooth radio channel interviewers who only ever facilitate and facilitate whatever nefarious nonsense is going around, are dropping into place for the 'agenda' all over the board, but we can do something to resist that if we choose to.

I profoundly disagree. To give air time to false, embellished, or hoaxed stories just encourages and rewards the hoaxers more.

The main media portals (Gaia, C2C, F2B, Jeff Rense, and a bunch of other shows, not to mention the conferences) are also gatekeepers. NOT entertainers.

But Jimmy is an entertainer. At a fundamental level, he's more interested in the conversation (especially his own voice) than the truth. He's said just that, in so many other words.

Of course, claims need to be fairly aired, at least initially. But this is NOT a 'we report, you decide' situation. The media portals also have a responsibility for education, including how to think and examine information.

This is exactly Avalon's position, and I stand by that absolutely.

I see your point, in the long view, but I see things very dynamically. I see myself as being responsible for doing what I can right now in the moment in holding off the foe while other parts of my human 'clan' get more muscular and join in the resistance.

It's very much a time based tactical battle, the way I look at most of these things. You know the stuff "no good closing the stable door after the horse has bolted" and all that.
