Default Live Wire - Tangle Of Black Thin Wire Like Stuff, Seems To Move On Its Own.

What is that? Any ideas? Real or fake? I have no idea. Maybe it is a parasitic worm, getting tangled with others. Not really very wormy like. Could it be some metal affected by some electro magnetic thing? Just curious if anyone recognizes it as something more mundane than it has been presented as being.

Oh, hang on. I have looked at it again. I think it could be some sort of parasitic worm, entangled in some black plastic hessian type threads.

Or, it could be a live one among dead ones, pretty much as one person more or less said in the article.[COLOR="red"]

I found something like that in a lake once ... pretty creepy -- some sort of worm.

EEW! That made me want to vomit...I felt sorry for the mantis drowning at first, until reading in the comments that the parasite embeds itself in the brain and takes control of its host...zombie mantis!

Reminds me of the main enemies in the stargate sg1 TV series...the Goa'uld!

    Yes Jayke, they do. Ick!

I was wondering why the mantis was being drowned and felt sorry for it but you have explained why. Thanks.
