Default US and Russia to build first lunar space station

The joint US-Russian project to push further into the solar system is part of a long-term venture to send humans to Mars.
It is part of a long-term project to send humans to Mars.

The US space agency said earlier this year that it was exploring a programme called the Deep Space Gateway, a multi-stage project to push further into the solar system.

NASA said the project envisages building a crew-tended spaceport in lunar orbit that would serve as a "gateway to deep space and the lunar surface".

Russian space agency Roscosmos announced a cooperation agreement had been signed at an astronautical congress in Adelaide.

"The partners intend to develop international technical standards which will be used later, in particular to create a space station in lunar orbit," the Russian agency said in a statement.

The Russians and Americans would cooperate to build the systems needed to organise scientific missions in lunar orbit and to the surface of the Moon, it said.

Russia Will Team Up With NASA To Build A Lunar Space Station

    Published 27th September 2017

In a major space policy decision, Russia will promise to join a NASA-led effort to build an international human outpost in the vicinity of the Moon. Russian industry sources told Popular Mechanics that the head of Roscosmos State Corporation, Igor Komarov, is expected to announce the news next week during a meeting with other space agencies at the 68th International Astronautical Congress in Adelaide, Australia.

I was also thinking the same , also they need to keep the war mongering
going on to hide the black budgets etc.......

I just came across this article from 2015 and is one of the best balanced
UFO stories I've seen from a mainstream news paper for a long time,
and they even link to Richards Hall interview with Gary....I must of missed
    this at the time.

WATCH: Proof NASA edits out UFOs? What Gary McKinnon found on 2-year hack spree

A HACKER believes he saw proof NASA DOES edit out pictures of alien
Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) from its images before public release.

Gary McKinnon, who faced a 10-year fight against extradition to the US after breaking into
computer databases of NASA, US military and the Pentagon, has made the shock claims.
It remains one of the top alien conspiracist theories - that NASA and the US government
has known for years we are being regularly monitored by UFOs from far-flung galaxies.
But, in the belief Joe Public could not handle the truth, or it would lead to the breakdown
of religion and society as we know it, it has been successfully withheld from us by cover
    up after cover up.

It was when former NASA contractor Donna Hare went whistleblower in November 2000
with claims that NASA staff digitally edited out UFOs from satellite pictures before they
were released, from Building eight of the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas, that
Mr McKinnon, 49, decided he had to know more.

If there are going to be more people in the vicinity of the moon, i would guess that the SSP will be well prepared for it. From the ufo disclosure press conference at the washington press club in may, 2001, we know that people (i believe it was sgt.woolf) had witnessed pictures of structures on the far side of the moon. These structures were believed to have been built by some non-humans. There have been rumors for decades that in addition to these alien structures, that the human secret space program had built at least one base there, from documents from the 1950's i believe the u.s. military planned to build one near the north pole of the moon (to have an ongoing view of earth but still be out of sight, etc.).

So, now assuming that there are both alien (likely abandoned) and secret space program structures on the moon, we can also assume that they dont want the earth audience to see these because they want to remain unaccountable as well as perpetuate the myth that we are alone in the cosmos. So, how will the ssp keep these buildings hidden? Well, we know from mainstream science that they are starting to realize that 'visibility cloaking' is possible (academics have done limited success tests confirming the feasibility), and disguising can easily be done with current tech using led screens, and we know that the ssp is likely sixty years ahead of the rest of us technologically, so, i am postulating that the ssp has masked/cloaked all structures/artifacts/etc. that they dont want us to see.

So its great that an international space station will be soon orbitting the moon. If they dont do it, someone else will. But we wont be privy to any anomalous details, by design. I am sure that they are busy working on the cloakings on Mars to ensure the same happens when the public arrives there.

It would just be great if we could know the true extent of the ssp. Rumors are that they have gone inter-stellar and have had extensive contact with alien species. It would be very interesting to know what's really going on (and i am not talking of blue avian or capt k fantasies).

Russia and US will cooperate to build moon's first space station | Lunar Space Station

    Published on 27 Sep 2017
Russia and the United States have agreed to cooperate on a Nasa-led programme
to build the first lunar space station, part of a long-term project to send humans to
Mars. The US space agency said earlier this year that it was exploring a programme
called the Deep Space Gateway, a multi-stage project to push further into the solar
system. The project envisages building a crew-tended spaceport in lunar orbit that
would serve as a “gateway to deep space and the lunar surface,” Nasa has said.

Nasa has been far from coy in its ambitions to send humans to orbit Mars by the
2030s, and subsequent plans to colonise of the red planet. But plans to return to
the moon have waxed and waned with the US administration. While George W Bush
was keen to see humans on the moon again by 2020, Barack Obama ditched the
plan and focused on plans to visit Mars, including a mission to test the necessary
technology by capturing a boulder from the surface of an asteroid and bringing it
into lunar orbit. Now, it seems, it’s all change again. With the Trump administration,
asteroid missions have fallen from favour: with a spaceport orbiting the moon,
crewed visits to the lunar surface are once again on the menu.On Wednesday the
Russian space agency Roscosmos announced that a cooperation agreement had
been signed at an astronautical congress in Adelaide.

“The partners intend to develop international technical standards which will be used
later, in particular to create a space station in lunar orbit,” the Russian agency said
in a statement. The Russians and Americans would cooperate to build the systems
needed to organise scientific missions in lunar orbit and to the surface of the moon,
the agency added.“Roscosmos and Nasa have already agreed on standards for a
docking unit of the future station. Taking into account the country’s extensive
experience in developing docking units, the station’s future elements will be created
    using Russian designs.”

Igor Komarov, Roscosmos’s general director, said no fewer than five countries were
building their own rockets and systems.“To avoid future problems over technical
cooperation, part of the standards should be unified – for a possibility for various
countries to work on their craft and dock to the international lunar station,”
Komarov was quoted as saying in the statement.Russia and the United States also
discussed using Moscow’s Proton-M and Angara rockets to help create the
infrastructure of the lunar spaceport, the statement said, adding that the main
works were scheduled to begin in the mid-2020s.Space exploration – including joint
work on the International Space Station (ISS) – is one of the few areas where
international cooperation between Russia and the US has not been marred by
tensions over Ukraine and Syria. The $100bn ISS, which has been orbiting Earth at
about 17,000mph per hour since 1998, is the world’s largest space project.
