I am not ready to subscribe to the united earth concept because humanity is not yet ready to unite is a spiritual, STO way. This post, however, is a fantastic compendium of resources. Thank you.

I think there's truth to what you say wnlight. So I don't expect it to actually happen right now, mainly I'd like to plant the seeds for the idea so that it can start to grow.

I'm wary of some of the organizations listed at the link (e.g., World Wildlife Fund, Greenpeace), having read that they have been either created or co-opted by people with their own selfish intentions.
Just because an organization seems benevolent or used to do something beneficial doesn't mean it's true.
Be careful.

so many organizations...too many to really make a judgement.
