Default Strange manufactured Caves found near Russian city Zayukovo

Located east of the Black Sea and just a bit above from Georgia near the Village Zayukovo.
This cave is clearly (man?)-made. This is the Mountainrange where it was found in 2011.

There are two Caves close to eachother:

(translated from russian, thats why the text is a bit bumpy)
In 2011, after landslides on one of the peaks of Hara Hora local residents was discovered underground cave that goes deep into the mountains, with perfectly smooth walls. This cave is immediately attracted right local experts, and later began to move in from other areas. What is remarkable about this cave?

First you need to squeeze into a hole the size of 40 to 120 cm, and then to descend on a rope through a narrow vertical shaft. It is formed by two parallel stone slabs. 9 feet – first “knee”: a hole out to the side and immediately dropped down again. Here you can enjoy absolute silence on the outside does not get any sound. Another 23 meters deep – and a new “knee”. To reach the bottom of the cave, you need to overcome more than 80 meters, and it will take an hour. But, passing the “bottleneck”, you will find yourself in the great room, which the researchers called “jar”. See processed inside wall of tufa and granite, composed of different-sized tightly fitted to each other polished megaliths.

The processing technology of stone hit but even more striking review section chief of the Kabardino-Balkarian prospecting expedition of Faith Davydenko, but she is a realist and believes that nature can do anything and concluded: “Tuff is an accumulation of products of emission of the volcano – ashes, fragments of lava, volcanic glass and to a lesser extent, rock fragments composing the walls of the crater. Material ejection at accumulation was hot and therefore the solidification cracks separate – that is, the entire tuff of the array was divided into blocks. Deepening, discovered near the village Zayukovo, is one of such cracks gravity separation, which is characterized by a smooth surface of contact”
Why I don’t believe her? Look closely at these joints and tell how nature can create such thing? Nature can create a smooth monolith, but to create two identical monolith and is their dock? As a little hard to believe…

Almost from the day of the opening of the cave shortage of theories about its purpose was not. It was assumed the most different versions from the most mundane, like warehouses etc. to the most fantastic, specifically UFOs. Following an investigation, no traces of human presence or organic remains in the cave did not find. However researchers are not surprised. Many believe that this facility and was not intended as housing. It had other tasks.

“For humans or other living creatures in this building was not planned initially, — says Chernobrov their guesses. One can draw the following analogy: we broke not at home, and some plant. Say, climbed in the factory pipe, then walked down into the combustion chamber and are now trying to understand: where there were people? And they weren’t! And should not have been. According to our version, this cave — technical construction”.
Researchers are inclined to believe that the construction of unusual shape, preserved inside a rock, could be part of a more global structure — underground cities, caves, the legends of which the North Caucasus is passed from generation to generation.
Most likely, the researchers believe that this object had not been underground. It was located on the surface, being attached to the hillside. So you can explain why one of the walls of chamber”jar” is uneven, rough (this is a fragment of a natural rock formation), and a smooth, polished (it was built by unknown builders). For several millennia an enormous structure covered with earth, sand and fragments of rock that rose above the trees. And blocks of stone, which was installed on the outside of the hill, was inside him. By the way, remember all the same pyramid of Cheops. She, along with lying next to the Sphinx was covered with sand until archaeologists dug it and gave a “miracle of light” has already become a familiar sight.

Here is a good site with a map to find some sacred places (not all of course). Among the mentioned are also some churches and mosques.

There is so much ancient stuff in russia that I will start a new Thread about all of that.

Here some better Pictures of the Cave. I think we dont have to argue that this is no natural formation.

The caveopening is on top of the mountain, no water entering the cave except when it rains a bit. Inside the cave there is no standing or running water. At least no pictures I saw showed any water. And no talk about water from the explorers.

Good question, some reserchers speculate it could be an ancient machine of sorts. But nobody seems to know It sure is no cave to live in.

This picture gives a clue of what those openings might actually be:

... a splitting and coming apart of the otherwise homogeneous rock type along othogonal "Joints," like here:

Orthogonal joint sets on a bedding plane in flagstones, Caithness, Scotland
(click on picture for larger version)

    ... here:

A rock in Abisko, Sweden fractured (along existing joints) possibly by mechanical frost weathering or thermal stress; a chullo is shown for scale
(click on picture for larger version)

    ...or here:

Recent tectonic joint intersects older exfoliation joints in granite gneiss, Lizard Rock, Parra Wirra, South Australia.
