    Default Profile and Bio

A suggestion to all who wish to hear...

With all the new members.. and new directions we are headed to...

I suggest we beef up our profile pages and be descriptive in our Bios.

this can help all to get to know one another and be used as references if some are looking for help from other s in specific fields.

I know this is something Bill has suggested before ....and I believe it is time to suggest it again

It would be great to read more about each one of you.

Systems or browsers that are set for US english only seem to have trouble with the accent in her name.
Try it without the name just the member number like so, https://projectavalon.net/forum4/member.php?22
My system is set to English and French Canadian so I never see the problem.

If I click on the link your provided I do get the info - some is a little disjointed. However, if I go to "Members" and click on Celine it will not work because there are no numbers, only names.

I like you pic Celine and your dog!

If you run Windoze XP, Vista or 7, I suggest Googling "adding languages to Windows"

If you run Linux, pm me and i will walk you through it, its really easy.

Yes, cool pic and cool dog, Céline.

I take it Pam that the second of the following links works for you, but not the first, right?
    1. https://projectavalon.net/forum4/memb...22-C%C3%A9line
    2. https://projectavalon.net/forum4/member.php?22
Both work for me, and so far as I know, my setup is English only.

I'd guess that certain browsers don't deal easily with accented characters in URL's.

Be careful that vBulletin, bless it's nerdy heart, doesn't keep the accent in the URL (where it is causing grief) but lose it in the display (where Céline would prefer it remain.) I don't know that this will happen, but it would be consistent with what I expect from vBulletin.

Paul, actually both of those links work for me also. It is only if I go to members and try to look at Celine's profile by her name. I also had a problem with the same thing happening when I tried to view a video link posted by Myanting.
