wasn't there a recent magnetic pole shift or something this past year, due to the chili earthquake?
Wouldn't that make changes in what we see out there? which includes the bending of light?

    Earth and Moon

Quote Usually when you see wacky space pictures, the Moon is unrealistically close to the Earth. What's up with that?

I wanted to get a better sense of exactly how the Earth and Moon would appear from an observer in space.

Here's a small version of the image. I used texture maps of the surface of the Earth and Moon that I found on the Internet. The relative sizes of the two objects and the distance between them should be accurate.

In the picture, the observer is 350,000 miles away from the Earth and the Moon, which are 250,000 miles apart.

Quote It's kinda trippy to stare at this image and then think about what the guys in the Apollo space program did. They went all the way over there, no really. They went that far away from the nearest McDonald's.

Would a black hole alter the way we see things in space if it was close enough to earth (ie.e bend the light so creating an optical illusion) ??????????????????.

It sure would. But i think if a black hole were close enough to cause the optical distortion mentioned the moon appearing different would be the least of our problems !!! lol

Ok folks, speaking as a tall ship sailor with a nodding acquaintance of celestial navigation (and some chatter with past shipmates now scattered around the globe) I can assure you all that everything (so far) is still where it is supposed to be.

Default David Icke Brixton Academy 2010, Excellent

I watched all 12 parts of the first half. I found it excellent. These first 12 parts deal with reality, how we decode it, energy fields, holograms, time. DNA, and the brain.

He used visuals and analogies that made everything easy to comprehend. I can hardly wait to see part 2.

I hope you find it informative.

Metaphor, I'm just now starting to watch Part 2. I'll let you know how it is. I think he gets to the "Reptillians" in this part.

Default David Icke Pt. 2 Brixton Academy 20.10

Just finished all 15 parts of part 2. I thought it was even better than part one.
I knew most, but he helped connect the dots. I couldn't help but sigh a couple of times because most of it resonated with me. Some of it was maddening, but I knew it was true. It simply made sense. If it is your first time hearing this, it might be overwhelming.

I realise i saw this earlier when it just got up on youtube, so what do you think Mandala? Pretty entertaining man, this David Icke, if it wasn´t that it is so serious on would mistake him for a stand up comedian (that being said in the most positive way) because this fellow really knows how to keep an audience interested, though he keeps talking for hours and hours.

    I'm not a mod either
But Onawah is right. If you are using "Avalon Breeze", for instance, the "Edit Post" Save button sorta kinda goes out to lunch, when you click it.

Known problem we picked up after the latest forum software upgrade.

Trick is to click "Edit Post", and then "Go Advanced".
Make your changes and the "Save" button there will do the trick.

    Yes, it's on the list.

Just finished watching the two David Icke Brixton segments. For the most part I can identify the sources of his information. While I do not necessarily agree with everything he says or all the conclusions he draws I must admit that he does have a very compelling way of presenting the material and makes a strong case for his point of view. I thank David Icke for tying many threads together and serving the important goal of waking people up. Overall, good job David Icke!

    Hi Metaphor,

I went to see David on september 11th this year at the brixton academy, although his talks do go on for hours I HIGHLY recommended anyone to go and see him and experience his talks.

I respect his work although sometimes he can be kinder on the negative side (sometimes you do need this to kick peoples bums) but I do admire his work and this talk was really good.

If you haven't seen his talks live then you should really go and support him.

    Scott
