Default US Navy Drafting New UFO Report Guidelines, Admit Recent Advanced Craft Sightings

Earlier this evening in Politico, one of the political news sites most closely tied with DC, a new article appeared:

"U.S. Navy Drafting New Guidelines For Reporting UFOs"
    https://www.politico.com/story/2019/...g-ufos-1375290

    which included this choice quote:
Quote The previously unreported move is in response to a series of sightings of unknown, highly advanced aircraft intruding on Navy strike groups and other sensitive military formations and facilities, the service says.

"There have been a number of reports of unauthorized and/or unidentified aircraft entering various military-controlled ranges and designated air space in recent years," the Navy said in a statement in response to questions from POLITICO. "For safety and security concerns, the Navy and the [U.S. Air Force] takes these reports very seriously and investigates each and every report.
    it was favorably reported as

Quote a significant new step in creating a formal process to collect and analyze the unexplained sightings — and destigmatize them.
This release/admission/update was posted around 6pm and so far this evening has been followed up at

    The Daily Beast
    https://www.thedailybeast.com/us-nav...reporting-ufos

    RT
    https://www.rt.com/usa/457374-ufo-na...ing-guidlines/

    The Hill
    https://thehill.com/policy/defense/n...reporting-ufos

    Washington Examiner
    https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/n...-ufo-sightings

    The Mirror UK
    https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/us-new...ocols-14543954

What do you think of this, and why the timing? Politico reporting directly for the US Navy basically ensures follow-up by other mainstream news sites, this isn't the usual "let's dump this 'we told you so' UFO story in Newsweek". I appreciate them being somewhat candid, and I wonder if they are getting ahead of another story- or are trying to turn a page, of sorts (or both).

Although Luiz Elizondo and Christopher Mellon are involved with the To The Stars Academy of Arts and Sciences, which supports research into explaining the technical advances of these reported UAPs.

Interestingly enough, Mellon was the co founder with Leslie Kean of UFODATA.org. This was launched in 2015. Leslie Keane was selected to write the New York Times article that first highlighted the AATIP office. UFODATA.org seeks to create a systematic, rigorous science of UFO phenomena. A way forward in UFO science.

May be Mellon and the selection of Keane could be behind presenting another story as a sequence to the original 2017 one.

Lets hope they can distinguish between "Ours" and "Theirs"

"US Navy granted a patent for a diamond shaped aircraft that has a "intertial mass reduction device"

The US Navy has been granted a patent for an advanced aircraft which resembles a flying saucer UFO. Military inventors filed plans for a highly unusual flying machine which uses an ‘inertial mass reduction device’ to travel at ‘extreme speeds’. What that means is that the aircraft uses complex technology to reduce its mass and thereby lessen inertia (an object’s resistance to motion) so it can zoom along at high velocities. The patent is highly complex and describes methods of reducing the mass of an aircraft using various techniques including the generation of gravity waves, which were first detected in 2016 after being produced when two black holes collided.

    https://metro.co.uk/2019/04/18/us-na...5/?ito=cbshare

"intertial mass reduction device" ??? - love the way it's just dropped into the article as if it's nothing !!!!

‘It is possible to reduce the inertial mass and hence the gravitational mass, of a system/object in motion, by an abrupt perturbation of the non-linear background of local spacetime,’ the patent says.

The "new" guidelines seem to be in the context of UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena or threats) and not meant to be disclosure in any form. Basically aimed to maintain the "what happens in the Navy stays in the Navy".
Why would the Navy disclose any technology that can easily overwhelm it?
There clearly is no way anymore to hide behind stupid attempts to disregard the existence of the phenomenon by ridiculing those reporting, so they must do everything in their power to prevent other navies/powers from acquiring such technologies first.

Hopefully this will allow a more open scientific and public debate on the subject without the immediate fear of being ostracized.

@Did You See Them and group - https://patentimages.storage.googlea...70313446A1.pdf is the patent for the thing in the image. The amount of energy inside such a thing is staggering, and how they would get such an amount of energy is just as mysterious. There are typos in the document, which is a bit odd, and looking at the overall concept, it is as if one is generating a localized black hole, and creating a space-time warping "event horizon". If anyone can actually build something like that based on the Patent, that would be a feat to see.

Meaning Patents to qualify to be something other than Bogus, have to be able to be built by one skilled in the topic (who is skilled in anti-gravity engines out there that we could know?) The invention must be "new" - if these things are in the public domain already (so many have seen flying triangles) how can they be "new", and therefore how can such a patent application be granted?

    Nature pointed out - https://www.nature.com/articles/438139a

Quote The US patent office has granted a patent on a design for an antigravity device — breaking its own resolution to reject inventions that clearly defy the laws of physics.

This is not the first such patent to be granted, but it shows that patent examiners are being duped by false science, says physicist Robert Park, watchdog of junk science at the American Physical Society in Washington DC. Park tracks US patents on impossible inventions. “The patent office is in deep trouble,” he says.

“If something doesn't work, it is rejected,” insists Alan Cohan, an adviser at the patent office's Inventors Assistance Center in Alexandria, Virginia. And when something does slip through, he says, the consequences are not significant: “It doesn't cause any problems because the patent is useless.”

But Park argues that patenting devices that so blatantly go against scientific understanding could give them undeserved respectability, and undermine the patent office's reputation. “When a patent is awarded for an idea that doesn't work, the door is opened for sham.”

Balls up: US patent office falls for antigravity device that would allow perpetual-motion machines.

Patent 6,960,975 was granted on 1 November to Boris Volfson of Huntington, Indiana. It describes a space vehicle propelled by a superconducting shield, which alters the curvature of space-time outside the craft in a way that counteracts gravity. The device builds on a claim by the Russian physicist Eugene Podkletnov that superconductors can shield the effects of gravity. NASA was at one stage investigating the idea, but it has become almost as notorious as cold fusion as an example of fringe science.
The black hole device sounds awfully lot like patent 6,960,975 described above. What is specifically worrisome, is how one is able to put so much energy in a confined space and not have the space in-between the inner and outer electrodes that encompass the device "short out".. Like when a lightning bolt travels MILES containing as much energy as the device in the "patent", how over a few feet is such a device able to keep the equivalent of a mile long lightning bolt NOT shorting out and the device not blowing itself to smithereens..

To me, it's bogus and one of the distractions and mis-directors.

Here is a good article explaining why there can be so many bogus patents: https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/...-get-approved/

Not saying that these patents are bogus, and in fact some are directly granted to the Navy department, so there is probably some intent that either such devices are in productions or at least feasible and the Nav's attempt to prevent others taking credit.

There have been a flood of follow-up and copycat articles in mainstream media today, following the Politico exclusive yesterday evening.

At CNN, they reported the new Navy policy and added an archived three-minute video clip covering the tic-tac video and the AATIP disclosure:
    https://www.cnn.com/2019/04/24/polit...nes/index.html

At Vice, they connected the Navy story to the recent Irish Coast sightings last November, that were disclosed through the state-sponsored BBC:
    https://motherboard.vice.com/en_us/a...-ufo-sightings

At Fox News, they also connected the Navy story to the prior AATIP disclosure by the New York Times:
    https://www.foxnews.com/tech/us-navy...reporting-ufos

It's also been reported today at US News & World Report, CNET, and Gizmodo, among others.
    https://www.usnews.com/news/national...reporting-ufos

    https://www.cnet.com/news/us-navy-wo...s-says-report/

    https://gizmodo.com/the-u-s-navy-is-...-re-1834260673

Gizmodo arguably did the most thoughtful piece, connecting the Navy news all the way back to the notorious/historic Project Blue Book, and also bringing in the AATIP news for a connection. Heck, they even quoted an interview from the Mufon Journal.

What's interesting in watching this develop (for me), is that in the rare case we've had a UFO story pop up in the recent past (in the MSM), the mainstream news sources will report the new news and typically not follow-up or connect it to prior stories. Here we certainly have a case where there is a concerted effort among the more established media to connect it to either the AATIP/Elizondo/TTSA/Tic-Tac news, the British govt's disclosure through the BBC (the multiple Irish Coast UAP sightings from November), or both.

The official statement from the ETs said that all UFO displays were discontinued effective December 21. 2012.

The initial decision, which called for retiring the "flying saucers," was to cease the activity in 2013 to conspicuously align it with the retirement age 66 years, in which the US folks are entitled to a full social security benefit. That means the UFO activity would last 66 years from 1947 (the Kenneth Arnold sighting) to 2013. But given the sorrowful performance of MUFON, it was difficult to design a special UFO manifestation, which would strongly imply the word END to the eathlings. So the date December 21, 2012 was chosen instead for obvious reason, and it was linked with the celestial spectacle over Chelyabinsk in that "retirement year" of 2013 .

There are still some folks around who get the kick out of UFO, and so they make sure that it continues in its mummified form.

    LOL...
I'm pretty sure that he is joking.

Will the Air Force update UFO reporting guidelines? https://www.daytondailynews.com/news...HjIiMp7W99yHO/

Why would the Navy disclose any technology that can easily overwhelm it?
I think there is a lot going on behind the scenes here.

We've had a secret space program for decades now, Corey Goode and all the other hoaxers notwithstanding. Joseph P. Farrell is an Oxford scholar, which makes me skeptical of his ultimate motives, but it also makes him very good at citing sources professionally, and he has very detailed presentations available on YouTube documenting the trail of evidence back to the WW2 era, as to who is really behind these "flying saucers."

Our military contractors, like Boeing or Lockheed Martin, and a few others, have had this kind of technology for decades, and with the new Space Force, it's all going to be forced out into the open for the first time. That's my take on what is going on right now. We might even get the full history on all of this stuff eventually, which I'm sure was integral to the real underlying motives during the Cold War. The US and USSR probably had at least one other power group to worry about, or even at least two of them, which were purely human.

One bit of irony I expect we will be seeing a lot of within the "alternative community," is that as we finally start getting the real kind of disclosure we've been demanding for so many years, many aren't going to believe that it's actually happening. There is certainly a lot of disinfo out there, and it seems to have done its job pretty well, as far as that goes.

When it finally does happen, there won't need to be any debate about it, because we'll start seeing the new energy technologies applied in civilian life. And people can see and touch it, and use it, for themselves.

I'd like to buy a big chunk of cheap land in Alaska and power greenhouses 365 days a year. Low energy costs will unlock miracles.

I already post it somewhere. Let me look for it... Oh, here it is:

The Pentagon folks are not completely UFO illiterate as MUFON is, and so they ended the program in 2012 being able to read the ET statement that there would be no more UFO displays, because the time of nearly sixty-six years was more than sufficient enough for the earthlings to learn the symbolic language the aliens speak with.

That Pentagon statement conflicts with the content of the Politico article, which wasn't independently confirmed by other news folks, which is something that is not actually required by the UFO clergy.
