Copper Supplement would be great for nerves. Otherwise yeah, just using your own life force energy and visualizations. Also, can use the energy of the cosmos or sun which is very powerful and healing. It's like you just channel it and focus it into which ever spot you want. Basically if you can sense it or feel it, you can use your mind to lock into it and use it. Then it's just deciding what you want to do with it and doing it. And having the confidence and faith, and TRUST in your self to know that you are a very powerful being and can manipulate the energies within your self and around you to what ever you want. Which we are all capable of.

    Hughe,

Oatstraw repairs nerve sheaths, used over time (a few weeks/months). I like using it as an herb in tea, use 'milky oat tops' (look online or at a good herb store in your area... if they don't know what it is, go elsewhere).

A good blend is 3 parts oatstraw, 2 parts chamomile (also good for nerves) and 1 part spearmint. You could leave the spearmint out if you want.

It's a nice tasting, everyday tea.

You could also take a tincture made of oatstraw.

I'll be brief, but I highly HIGHLY encourage you to look into taking COLOSTRUM. Not only do the growth factors help repair nerve damage, you're looking at whole body restoration.

COLOSTRUM is the “immune milk” produced by all mammals for only the first few hours before and after birth. Supercharged with 97 immune factors and 87 growth factors, Colostrum is nature’s “first food”. Its adaptogenic properties have been known to enhance rejuvenation and regeneration while strengthening the immune system, allowing your body to thrive under any circumstance.

Widely known for its potent anti-aging benefits and broad spectrum probiotics in their whole food forms, Colostrum supports good digestion and is dense in nutrition, to assist in your health and longevity strategy. Surthrival Colostrum is harvested from organically raised cows and only harvested after the newborn calves get their share. This is true, third party verified 6 hour Colostrum. Surthrival colostrum is low temperature spray-dried and contains no unnecessary fillers or additives.

I get my Colostrum from Surthrival because of how its harvested, one must know not all COLOSTRUM is the same.

    Colostrum feature elements:
First milking true 6 Hour colostrum
    Third party verified
Ethically harvested from USDA grade A cows
    Sourced within the United States
BSE, Antibiotic, Pesticide and Hormone Free
Low temperature spray dried to preserve bio-activity
A whole food that is never defatted

    FAQ

I also encourage listening to the following interview with Dr Anthony Kleinsmith:
    Part 1
    Part 2
    Part 3
    Part 4
    Part 5

This interview is very important to listen to as it touches upon HGH. The MSM is flooding the airwaves with how HGH is dangerous, but this is FALSE, at least from a COLOSTRUM standpoint - injecting just HGH alone (especially synthetic) will not do much, and if it does - it causes more harm than good. But when the natural factors are found in a whole food - it is more than essential for our system - and nothing shy from a miracle worker.

Healing, Tissue Repair, and Injury Recovery

Colostrum has been known for its healing abilities since earliest times, being mentioned in Egyptian hieroglyphic texts for its healing properties[JC3] . Skin cells have receptors for growth hormone and IGF-1, showing that they have the ability to react directly to growth hormone stimulation.157 IGF-II, also found in colostrum, plays a similar role.158 Fibroblast growth factor (FGF) and epithelial growth factor (EGF), both found in colostrum, are important in healing skin wounds.159, 160 Burns suppress the levels of IGF-1 in the affected area,161 which explains why colostrum, with its high concentration of IGF-1, is excellent for burn recovery.

The growth factors in colostrum also accelerate the healing of muscle, tendon, and ligament injuries, such as are commonly experienced by athletes.162,163,164,165 Colostrum’s growth factors stimulate regeneration and repair of muscle, bone, cartilage, skin, collagen, and nerve tissues, as well as RNA and DNA. This not only means faster, more complete recovery from injury and illness. It is also how colostrum stimulates age-erasing effects.

With prolonged use, the skin becomes more youthful, while age-spots and liver spots disappear. Sexual function is enhanced and bone density increases. Research published in the New England Journal of Medicine166 has shown that transforming growth factor (TGF-b) found in colostrum is also produced by osteoblasts, the cells that build bone. TgF-b was found to dramatically increase cell apoptosis (programmed cell death) among osteoclasts, the cells responsible for breaking down and reabsorbing bone. In addition to colostrum, microcrystalline hydroxyapatite and DHEA are proven to increase bone density.

Colostrum also helps to balance blood sugar and replenish neurotransmitters, resulting in better alertness and concentration, while enhancing mood. Both serotonin and dopamine are released in greater quantities, while their re-uptake is prolonged, allowing each molecule to work longer and more efficiently. For this reason, it is generally best to take colostrum in the morning and again sometime before about 4:00 p.m. (e.g., around lunchtime or a couple hours after).

    Hi Hughes,

The protocol method would be in proportion to the problem. It is hard to give an opinion when you did not give any information about the condition. The only general all over healing for all conditions would be a Reikii/Energy healing treatment which enhances your overall energy system to heal itself. However, these treatments can be greatly enhanced if other healing methods are included with it. This however requires more info about the condition. For general info about Reiki here is a video about it. Practitioners can be found everywhere.

Yes, but first you have to figure out WHY they are damaged. Once you have done that, the rest can be pretty easy.

I have not a single broken bones yet. I'm healthy as a wild penguin. xD. I just want to help one man. A motorcycle rider got an accident ten years ago. He lost mobility below the waist due to spinal cord injury and nerve damage. He has a good spirit, speak out for impaired people often. He expresses often he want to ride motorcycle or trike one day.

I'll definitely organize materials presented here and pass it to him. I can guide him how to meditate. I know any human has the ability change or manifest reality.

    stop using lipitor or plavex
    topical treat with vinegar
try to reduce inflamation if there's pressure on nerve/joints. cold press 10-15 minutes reduce swelling.

there are some things that promote nerve connective tissue growth can't remember right now, it'll come to me later.

After providing this info by far the best method for treatment of spinal cord injuries is Acupuncture & Reiki massage. Best of luck to your friend.

If the cause of his injury is a pre-planned catalyst for his incarnation, that is designed to create a situation for him to learn something I can see a couple of outcomes:

    1) He figures out what that is and gets to it, learns the lesson, with the result that it becomes easily and miraculously healable.

    2) He fails to find out - healing will remain difficult and protracted, so as not to withdraw the chosen catalyst. Meddling by others against the freewill of his higher plans could result in all kinds of unwanted side effects for those so doing - or simply a depressing failure to heal (after raising expectations to the contrary, thus compounding the depth of the catalyst that has been offered).

If it was not a pre-planned catalyst, but some kind of karmic balancing act, well, that should be healable once the forgiveness process has concluded.

We are complicated little buggers, and so it could be a combination.

Or I just could be wrong

For the above reasons, to my way of thinking, its why it is so important to get to the root cause.

    There are stages for healing.
    The physical:
    1. Detoxify the toxins out of your body so that your body can heal itself, and focus on rejuvenation. Use medical fasts and organic juices
    2. Strengthen your system with rejuvenation supporting supplements. Google for keyword adaptogen.
    3. Nourish your body with nerve growth supporting foods. Like Cabbage, parsley, Ginko.
    The mental:
    1. Forgive yourself and the reason you have the condition
    2. Imagine/feel/sense/visualize your healing at the moment. For 1 minute. At least 5 times a day.
    3. Focus on the progress you are making, take pride on it.
    The spiritual:
    1. Take responsibility for your life, karma, thoughts.
    2. Learn to love yourself including the less appreciated attributes. Live as if you appreciate your life.
    3. Internalize that your reality is reflection of your perception (our awakened life is a communal lucid dream).

    Good luck,
May you find what you seek for the better.

All, there is a wealth of knowledge contained in these few words. Many would gloss over them without going deeper into the meaning of each statement. Books have been written about each point enumerated. Great advice.

Further, fatty acids are extremely important in consideration of nerve and neurological health. Raw, unprocessed, untreated, unheated, fats. Fats are so maligned and for no good reasons other than marketing and advertising for veggie oils. Saturated fats are healthy!!! Coconut oil is one of God's blessings. Avocadoes are great sources of fat. Olive oil of course.

Certainly the pharma companies don't want you learning about the gifts of raw fatty acids and the critical role they play in a healthful lifestyle. Dr. Mercola believes that up to 70% of our diet should be fats.

    Hughe,

In case this injury came from spinal compression, I might have a remedy, that may even after years be of help here.
When broken or otherwise..........little can be done, by what I know.

I have often reflected that maybe I was "given" the disability to set me aside to learn something. If I were not "disabled" I probably wouldn't have experienced live so deeply and learned a great deal that others around are able to benefit from.

Nothing massive, just learning how to adjust to changes.

Think I'll start reflecting on how that condition no longer serves as a catalyst for my learning. I might not grow taller (at age 57) but can still learn without so many roadblocks.

    Thanks for having me reassess.

    No thank you!

It is people with "disabilities" that remind me how weak I am and how strong people are that suffer disability.

Just a thought, have you considered that the lesson may not just have been your own?

I sometimes wonder how common is it that people with disabilities tend to judge themselves harshly in the light of having placed an asymmetric demand on those around them; when in fact their own suffering is but another catalyst for those others.

I am sure that the universe being an infinitely wise and infinitely intelligent being, can arrange for such complex dynamics to the potential betterment of all involved .

I have never had any long term disability, and barring acute problems over in weeks, so I know little.

One of the most profound things I learned about it was in reading the book "Still Here: Embracing Aging, Changing, and Dying" which, among other things, talks about the concept of Fierce Grace by Ram Dass.

    http://www.amazon.com/Still-Here-Emb...1423044&sr=8-3

One of the reviewers of this book wrote a review that is so good and packed with insight I want to include it here as it is relevant and in context to what I am saying.

Quote Indeed Ram Dass is still here in this moment after a crippling stroke to guide us toward an understanding of our place among our fellows in the world as we grow old. Once he was Richard Alpert, Harvard professor, and then, after turning on and dropping out in the sixties, became Ram Dass, author of the best-selling Be Here Now (1971), the axiom of the title from the ancients of the East thereby becoming a mantra for a generation of flower children.

In this inspiring and eminently readable book, Ram Dass celebrates aging as a time of self-discovery and of selfless service to others. What could be more appropriate for a man who has lived so passionately, who has traveled so widely and learned so much than to share his experience and wisdom with others? And Ram Dass does it well, without sanctimonious posturing or self-serving claptrap, in a prose style that is familiar, warm and sharing, and at times brilliant. Especially beautiful are the passages on pages 141-144 in which he recalls his Jewish home and then a visit to India in 1970. Of course he does remind us of the many friends and note worthies he has met along the way; and, true, he is not adverse to indulging himself a little with reflections about how HE has been of service to the aged, the infirm, and the dying. But this is only right. There is, as we are freed from many of the constraints of society and its shallow proprieties, no place for a false modesty, and if one has done well, one should be pleased with oneself, and like Walt Whitman, celebrate oneself. As a young man, Ram Dass went against the shared "wisdom" of the society that had so well nurtured him and sought his own way, and he found it. He is to be admired and listened to.

His way now is not that of renunciation, as one might expect from the Hindu influence on his life, but a more social orientation. He practices karma yoga, from the Bhagavad Gita in which one finds salvation and freedom through the non-attached performance of one's duties--one's dharma--without expectation, without seeking reward or the fruit of labor.

Ram Dass believes he suffered the stroke through the "fierce grace" of his guru because of this continued "attachment to the Ego" (pp. 200-201). By learning a deeper level of suffering first hand he drew closer to God. As his guru once said, "See? That's the way it works. Suffering does bring you closer to God." He was unable to totally renounce the delusions of this world, the social and political fruits that he loved so much, being such an intensely social person, and so the attachment remained. Now confined to a wheelchair he spends more time "hanging out" with his guru (p. 202), the deceased Maharajji, whom he reveres as a god, which is the way of the guru-devotee relationship. His faith was tested by the stroke, but he came away with his faith intact. He writes in closing the book, "I know now that my faith is unshakeable. That assurance is the highest gift I have received from the stroke..."

I think the most important thing this book does is to inspire us to treat our advancing years with wisdom and dignity, with a sense of self worth and to discard the empty notions found in the noxious and insidious suggestion that growing old is some kind of disease or reason for shame. Instead one embraces the natural changes that are taking place and sees them as a new challenge, full of unique surprises and experiences, and yes, pain and sorrow and loss. It takes a strong and focused person to grow old gracefully. (Growing old is not for the faint of heart!) And finally there is an understanding that death is part of life, its fulfillment to be sure. As Ram Dass writes on page 156, "by allowing the mystery of death...to inform our everyday life, we begin to see things anew." The key word is "inform." Death informs our life and makes it whole. Like Browning's Rabbi Ben Ezra, we might also say, "Grow old along with me!/The best is yet to be"; and in believing that and living it, and knowing that death itself is a great adventure, we are freed.

Ram Dass shares his experience through little stories about inspirational people he has met and how they guided him to an appreciation of what it means to change and grow old. His gentle and uplifting style, emphasizing the spiritual aspects of life, make reading this book a warm and fulfilling experience. Incidentally, the typographical style of the book, with its tinted pages with muted yantra symbols and the light wine/purple color of the letters makes for a very pretty book, pleasingly reminiscent of the wildly decorated, paper bag-colored pages of his best seller from long ago.

Quote Copper Supplement would be great for nerves.
I'd like to add to your suggestion of using life force energies and visualizations. It'll be more effective when you combine them with breathwork. The basic part of my Breathing technique is what yoga teaches: breath in energized air through the nose while the abdomen extends out. Exhale negativity from the mouth while abdomen goes back in. In my mind, breathing out of the mouth means that the healing air stays in and the negative stuff comes out by mouth.

Don't worry about the breath going in through the mouth because that'll take care of the inside part of you. The difference is when you visualize bringing the energies through the outside of your body into the part that needs healing. I've learned that the air we breathe is not only life sustaining, but very healing and energized (with orgone).

Just for practice, breath in and out of your chakras. Then, breath in one chakra and out of another. It's not difficult to perfect. Before long you'll actually "feel" the breath movement going into your body from the outside.

I've trained myself to do it in sets of 3. On the 3rd breath, I "feel" and expect the healing which almost feels euphoric to me... One thing to remember is to think HEALED already. Don't think, you're GOING to heal. This is key. I say to myself "On that 3rd breath I'M HEALED". And I am...
In the beginning, I had to do quite alot of sets before I succeeded. But now one set does it.

And I can testify that you can do this technique FOR another person.... (visualizing that you're breathing into THEIR body the same way). I've done it twice now successfully. Which proves to me that the possibilities are endless for every one of us....
