Default Rejoice! We have Eradicated the Flu!

Great news! The Flu is gone. It's only a minor, insignificant coincidence that the flu all but disappeared around March/April this year the same time when Covid was ramping up....

Congratulations to the WHO and all the health 'experts' for making this possible, it seems the flu vaccine is finally kicking in!

Lol, that is one hell of a steep drop. As you say, must be those great vaccines they do these days. I can see no relationship with covid. Completely different things. Great effort!

In the United States, flu season occurs in the fall and winter

But I can appreciate the spirit of the thread

Before you speak, ask yourself, is it kind, is it necessary, is it true, does it improve on the silence?

Week 12 is rather telling. That would be Mar. 16-22, right about when the crisis and deaths were heating up hugely.
That was quite a plunge in flu cases there.

Throughout the 1970s, medical establishments insisted that margarine was healthier than butter, eggs were bad – they raised cholesterol levels – and we should brush our teeth vigorously, especially after fizzy drinks.

Now those same "experts" say margarine is full of hydrogenated fats, the cholesterol in eggs has negligible impact on serum cholesterol levels and brushing your teeth vigorously, especially after acidic drinks, erodes tooth enamel, and your gums.

Now we are being told as if it might be a matter of factual certainty that a vaccine will come long to "cure" Covid19.

It will not. Covid19 is a fourth-rate killer of old people whose resistance is weakened by other pathogens often largely to do with their lifestyles. It will join the flu and the common cold as things that follow Homo sapiens around - killing the few and slightly inconveniencing the many. The Pharma mafia tell us that we do have a vaccine against flu.

We don't. They peddle the jab knowing full well that it is only effective against last year's strain. Viruses mutate all the time: in truth, there is evidence that being vaccinated against the old only makes you more prone to the new.

I guess there there is something about putting the salutation 'Dr' in front of someone's name that gives it an aura of indisputable respectability. The names Crippen, Shipman, Fauci, Ferguson, Mengele and Horby should tell us otherwise.
