Default Pope Francis’s 2015 war on climate-denying capitalists

World’s moral leader is throwing down the gauntlet over destruction of Planet Earth

"Headlines warn us. He’s throwing down the gauntlet. Forget “Prince of Peace.” It’s 2015. Pope Francis is igniting WWIII. The big one. He knows capitalism’s already at war everywhere, destroying the planet’s environment. So he’s taking command, launching a counter-offensive, demanding action, leading his army of 1.2 billion worldwide, inspiring environmental activists everywhere.

Yes, folks, it’s 2015 and Pope Francis launched a full-on, major assault on capitalism, like Ike’s D-Day, a major battle, a counter-attack promising to dominate global headlines for the year, as opponents scramble, regrouping to repel his war on climate-denying capitalists.

The thunder is already roaring: “Pope Francis declares war on climate deniers” reads a New Republic headline. And the Guardian headline throws jet fuel on the flames: “Pope Francis’s edict on climate change will anger deniers and U.S. churches.”

Anger? No, he’s provoking, infuriating, enraging! Because this “radical, anticapitalist revolutionary’ pope is a huge threat to everything capitalists stand for, a clear and present danger to the ideology driving Big Oil, Koch Bros, conservative billionaires, and all GOP senators and governors already on record as climate-science deniers, opposed to all taxes and regulation of their profits and toxic carbon emissions.

No, folks, it doesn’t take much to imagine their reactions when Pope Francis speaks to the world leaders at his upcoming historic speech in New York at the United Nations General Assembly. Enraged, superrich capitalists everywhere will be seeing red, later worried about grassroots rebellions, like the 1789 French Revolution attacking the rich, ruling elite.

Yes, 2015 promises to be a turning point in the history of capitalism, not just climate change. Our “Warrior Pope” has ignited WWIII with a counterattack on capitalism that many historians already see as the defining issue of the 21st century — free-market capitalism versus global warming, climate change, the environment, triggering revolutions by citizens everywhere rising up against the world’s superrich for destroying the planet.

“Pope Francis plans to make climate change a personal issue for the world’s 1.2 billion Catholics,” continues the New Republic’s Rebecca Leber. In early 2015 Francis “will publish an encyclical (a letter to the world’s bishops) ... he will speak directly to United Nations leaders in the fall ... and he will organize a summit of world religions — all aimed at pressuring countries to commit to a strong climate agreement at a Paris meeting next December,” citing John Vidal of the Guardian. Now that is WWIII.
Pope Francis is now the world’s new moral conscience

But Pope Francis has emerged as far more than the “radical, anticapitalist, socialist revolutionary” we first wrote about after his election less than two years ago. Yes, he’s a radical. A revolutionary. And clearly an anticapitalist socialist.

But today, Pope Francis’ emerging power comes from a new source deep within, from within his soul, inherent in his character, visible in his actions. You feel a renewal of traditional values sorely missing is today’s world of out-of-control consumerism and narcissistic capitalists.

Francis touches all of us, our minds, our hearts, he’s in our souls, one to one. You know he’s doing the right thing, the moral thing, for all people, poor and rich. Francis is painfully aware the planet is rapidly nearing a point of no return, of irreversible damage, that capitalism’s insatiable blind pursuit for more and more profits is ultimately destroying Planet Earth — that’s the core struggle in the conflict defining our 21st century.

All this is guaranteed to have enormous economic consequences for today’s capitalists who now exist without a moral compass. Pope Francis has emerged as the moral leader not just of 1.2 billion faithful in his church, but the new conscience for the entire world.

Francis’s words reveal a pope not only with a strong moral conscience but also a man who’s clearly been on top of financial, economic and political trends for a long time, worldwide and here in America. And he’s not happy with the trends. Thank God. The world needs his kind of moral leadership, sorely missing in today’s world adrift in soulless capitalism.

Capitalists everywhere: Big Oil billionaires, climate-science deniers, GOP politicians, Wall Street bankers, conservatives, even traditional economists, are justifiably concerned about this gentle pontiff’s happy smile, deceptively disarming demeanor. He’s threatens all they stand for.
Warrior Pope’s 10 battle cries threatening capitalists worldwide

So, yes, you will be part of history in the making: Pope Francis is leading a new kind of crusade. Just before our Thanksgiving last year his “Apostolic Exhortation” defined his mandate to change the world. From Day 1 he was crystal clear. Francis understood his enemies’ strategies: the invisible hand of capitalism, trickle-down economics that fail the poor, self-centered conservatism, the insatiable worship of money, profits, wealth. "The final thing to notice is that if all this money had really been disbursed in 2010 then the world would be a much better place than it actually is. According to UN estimates it would only take $400 billion to stop environmental destruction and $200 billion to end poverty..."

I do like Pope Francis, speaking up for the little guys...

Whether politicians or high ranking religious leaders where billions are at stake I'd be very wary. I don't care what they say or how they say it I personally do not believe them, but wait and weigh all the pros and cons.

There are many things to weigh, let each person do their own weighing. Get the facts as much as is possible.

Question Everything, always speak truth... Make the best of today, for there may not be a tomorrow!!! But, that's OK because tomorrow never comes, so we have nothing to worry about!!!

This reeks of false hero disinfo. "Global warming" is a con to tax everyday people for "destroying the environment" when it's mostly just normal climate cycles. The big capitalists supposedly in the crosshairs of this "renegade pope" actually benefit from "global warming" because they receive their cut of those taxes and the whole carbon credit scam is a loophole to allow them to pollute all the way to the bank. Meanwhile, TPTB manipulate the weather behind the scenes to manufacture droughts and storms for their own nefarious schemes.

The day a pope drags baby-slaughtering satanists and secret hidden texts out of the bowels of the Vatican is the day there's a "renegade pope" in town, not this paper pope being aggrandized in pseudo-Sports Illustrated style by "marketwatch.com." How about he cashes in some of that gold piled up behind him and feed some starving children?

Yeah,... nevermind the pedophilia going on in the next room, here's the new 'world's' moral compass! Is that an Umbrella Corp logo on his shoulder?

Mind, I am not contesting that corporate pollution is an issue that ought be addressed, but the idea that humans are affecting the global climate is,... pretentious and premature. Well, except for weather modification, thank you Jake.

Tell me, are the bacteria on one's skin able to affect one's skin temperature?

The real discussion wrt climate change should be on where to relocate whole populations from those area's of the world that have been and will continue to be those regions most affected by it. Like Indonesia, for example. But that's just now...

All areas of the world are affected by the "climate change"--there's no where to relocate people. And the climate disaster is not so much about C02 as it is about the unresearched mitigation efforts put in place by the delusioned climatologists--the people who spend time in front of a computer rather than out in nature who think they know better than nature and hence hneed to "fix" things. It's not about capitalism vs climate--that's the game being put forth, but rather it's about how to meet material wants and needs outside of the current industrial paradigms.

Not only that, but I think the PTB may be using the mitigation efforts as a screen for other agendas of which we need become aware of.

Non-participation in this magazine cover about anything or picture that reminds the Vatican is itself the message?

It is The Economist and it is directly related to the world elite. It is partly owned by the Rothschild banking family of England and its editor-in-chief, John Micklethwait, attended several times to the Bilderberg Conference – the secretive meeting where the world’s most powerful figures from the world of politics, finance business and media discuss global policies. The outcome of those meetings is totally secret. It is therefore safe to say that the people at The Economist know things that most people don’t. For this reason, its “2015 prediction” cover is rather puzzling.

for Koch to spend 10s of millions to hire a group to counter scientist, tells everyone with a brain that what you believe means it was worth every penny they spent...

in a way you are right the greedy bastaards will pass astronomical costs on to Americans to make their pockets books fatter, but most 1st world countries aren't the problem, but they are the only ones who can help 3rd world countries clean it up.

It will take a lobby of Insurance companies to take on big oil over environmental issues...

as the million dollar storms turn to regular multi billion dollar storms, they will have no choice but to push aside the Koch butt kissers and shut down the lying propaganda machine of climate denials...

who knows acts of God better than insurance companies? it's the denial letter's favorite reply... not covered...

they have plenty in common to stand with the Pope...

How Plunging Oil Prices Could Lead to World War III

"Let’s revel in our good fortune as oil prices continue to plunge. Oil prices have dipped under $50. If we are spending less for fuel, we have more to spend on other things such as eating out, shopping and vacations. On the surface, it looks the American consumer finally got a break.
The Trojan Horse of Low Oil Prices

Before we pop the Champagne, we should consider the fact that someone in a position of authority thinks that the present economic situation could lead to economic devastation inside the United States and the proof for this is readily apparent. The Army Times publication states, that our Army has been concentrating on fighting in ‘megacities’ of 20 million or more people against “criminal and extremist groups” who can “influence the lives of the population while undermining the authority of the state.” I take the Army’s quote to mean that hungry, desperate people are going to be looking for ways to satisfy their basic means and these people must be stopped. And who would be the terrorists that they are practicing against? The new terrorists, according to the DHS, are Christians, Constitutionalists, and in particular, Second Amendment supporters.
Low Oil Prices Equals Economic Death by Deflation

We live in a country where the three thousand mile salad is common place. Your grocery stores and large retail storea receive several deliveries per day in an economic practice known as “Just In Time Delivery”. Nearly everything you eat and wear is shipped. The middle man concept (i.e. the transporter of goods) forms the backbone of our service economy. However, if the price oil goes to low, the economy will slow down to the point, where at first, spot shortages will rule the day. Eventually, very little will be shipped because it does not make sense to do so due to the deflationary impact on prices. Low oil prices, if they continue, will wreak havoc on the economy. One can prove to themselves that most “experts” agree that the economy is vulnerable to oil prices which may reach $40 dollars per barrel by “Googling” the topic.
We Have Been Down This Road Before

In the lead up to the greatest bank heist in history, the financial crisis of 2008, the price of oil plunged in a manner reminiscent of today’s trend curve. Additionally, the new prices for industrial commodities went through a devastating deflation and the U.S. dollar soared, like a race car, in comparison to other currencies. History is repeating itself and history clearly shows that unless we reverse our course, our economic fate is sealed. If the trend of low plunging oil prices continues, we will have two choices, bailout “the too-big-to-fail” Wall Street firms or let everything come crashing down like it did in Iceland.

In Iceland, they weathered the storm after jailing the bankers responsible for destroying the Icelandic economy. Iceland is economically healthier today than ever before. However, I am not sure letting nature take its course on Wall Street, would work like it did in Iceland. Iceland is a country of 400,000 people with few international entanglements. The United States has 315 million people and has a global economy.

I have been reading the projections out of Wall Street and they exhibiting sure signs of cognitive dissonance as they proclaim that everything is fine. And yet somehow many financial analysts are still convinced that things will be different, today, than they were in 2008. I agree. The Financial Crash of 2015, will make 2008 look like a picnic in comparison.
The Real Reason Behind the 2015 Crash

The media would have you believe that the sole reason oil prices are down is because supplies are up and demand is down. There is no doubt that these two economic conditions exist in combination with each other. However, there is the reason the American people are told, through the corporate controlled media, and there is the real, more pressing reason.

Over the past six weeks, two of my military sources have told me to watch oil prices. Both sources stated that oil prices could become the fulcrum for economic collapse, martial law and World War III which would result as a result of the desperation of a failed economy.
    Conclusion

Russia and the other BRICS are struggling as they having to reach into their reserve cash, gold and oil to survive these low oil prices. My sources also tell me that Russia needs $100 dollar a barrel oil to prosper. The BRICS have been successful in undermining the use of the Petrodollar in places like Iran and Venezuela. The Petrodollar is on the ropes. However, with these low oil prices, the worm has turned and the major reason that Russia and her allies are under an economic attack is due to the Ukrainian situation. In 2013, I wrote several articles detailing how Ukraine was pivotal in Putin’s desire to rebuild the Soviet Union empire because 60% of Russian gas flowing into Europe, first flows through Ukraine. Conversely, the Western banking establishment wants Ukraine to join the European Union. and, as such, control the price and flow of gas. Both sides are willing to sponsor a civil war in Ukraine and risk World War III. Putin has effectively stalemated the West and the West has retaliated with low oil prices."

The practice of low oil prices has devastated the BRICS. The question remains, who will blink first? How far into his reserves will Putin go? How far will the Western bankers allow oil to fall and for how long? Are the bankers willing to devastate the American economy in order to break the BRICS opposition to the Petrodollar as well as the ultimate control over Russian gas going into Ukraine? Predicting dates is a fool’s errand. However, if events continue in the present direction, we could witness an economic collapse that will come like a thief in the night, unparalleled civil unrest and movement down the road towards World War III. In short, low oil prices could indeed lead to World War III.

We don't need no carbon tax. We need public disclosure of free energy technology. Matured and market ready. Developed and suppressed since Tesla or even longer. We need free energy. NOW. Otherwise it is game over for humanity upon this Earth. With carbon tax or not. We need to adress free energy deniers. Not global warming deniers... Us...

    Over and out...
Best wishes and free energy to all

I complletely agree, right now we are witnessing the oil beasts final struggle for control...

but it isn't about oil, it is about the Romneys that shut American factories, and moved the companies to China where there are no pollution regulations, fill the plant with slaves at $20 a week, so they can produce products and ship them back to America for cheaper than can be produced locally...

by forcing first world owned companies with operations in foreign lands to produce under a world accepted pollution standards is how the changes will happen...

The Pope is going to Wall Street, pointing his finger and saying I know what you have done for money, and it must change now...

if his 1.2 billion followers do the same to their employers...

Boycotting every company who continues to pollute earth for profit is huge, when the pope tells everyone to do the same...

it will crush the Romney slave Masters of the world, they will have no choice to keep their investors happy by cleaning up their operations...

I see this as a pretty huge move forward to clean energy answers...

when politicians are fighting world societies, they get sanctioned...

It is time Congress passes a law to inflict sanctions on any company trading on the world markets who continue to pollute at their factory and operations around the world.

the bean counters will realize going clean energy, as in free, will cut their carbon footprint and counter the cost of cleaning up their operations to keep them from being sanctioned.

the only loser is big oil, and they've been messing up this world long enough...

they own the governments, the intelligence agencies, the military, Wall Street and the Fed...

do the little people have the right for representation?

Once in motion, soon the Lutherans, the Protestants, the Buddhist, the Hindu, the Muslims, the Atheists...

Jews and Mormons, this is going to be a tough step forward...

if ETs really are working along with Pope Francis to change the collision course this world is on...

we might really see changes coming...

research on climate change so we may better understand the potential implications on United
    States national security.

We have interviewed leading climate change scientists, conducted additional research, and
reviewed several iterations of the scenario with these experts. The scientists support this
project, but caution that the scenario depicted is extreme in two fundamental ways. First,
they suggest the occurrences we outline would most likely happen in a few regions, rather
than on globally. Second, they say the magnitude of the event may be considerably smaller.
We have created a climate change scenario that although not the most likely, is plausible, and
would challenge United States national security in ways that should be considered
    immediately.

This abrupt change scenario is characterized by the following conditions:
Annual average temperatures drop by up to 5 degrees Fahrenheit over Asia and North America and 6 degrees Fahrenheit in northern Europe
    • Annual average temperatures increase by up to 4 degrees Fahrenheit in key areas throughout Australia, South America, and southern Africa.
    • Drought persists for most of the decade in critical agricultural regions and in the water resource regions for major population centers in Europe and eastern North America.

    • Winter storms and winds intensify, amplifying the impacts of the changes.
Western Europe and the North Pacific experience enhanced winds.
The report explores how such an abrupt climate change scenario could potentially de-stabilize the geo-political environment, leading to skirmishes, battles, and even
war due to resource constraints such as:

    1) Food shortages due to decreases in net global agricultural production
    2) Decreased availability and quality of fresh water in key regions due to shifted precipitation patters, causing more frequent floods and droughts
    3) Disrupted access to energy supplies due to extensive sea ice and storminess
As global and local carrying capacities are reduced, tensions could mount around the world, leading to two fundamental strategies: defensive and offensive. Nations with
the resources to do so may build virtual fortresses around their countries,
preserving resources for themselves. Less fortunate nations especially those with ancient
enmities with their neighbors, may initiate in struggles for access to food, clean water, or energy. Unlikely alliances could be formed as defense priorities shift and
the goal is resources for survival rather than religion, ideology, or national honor.

This scenario poses new challenges for the United States, and suggests several steps to be taken:
    • Improve predictive climate models to allow investigation of a wider range of scenarios and to anticipate how and where changes could occur
    • Assemble comprehensive predictive models of the potential impacts of abrupt climate change to improve projections of how climate could influence food,
    water, and energy
    • Create vulnerability metrics to anticipate which countries are most vulnerable to climate change and therefore, could contribute materially to an increasingly
    disorderly and potentially violent world.

Abrupt Climate Change 2• Identify no-regrets strategies such as enhancing capabilities for water management
    • Rehearse adaptive responses
    • Explore local implications
    • Explore geo-engineering options that control the climate.
Just the above snippets gives my minds eye the view of TPTW rubbing their filthy hands together and saying to each other 'One-world-order' 'New-world-order' we have the key grin, grin!
