I went outside yesterday evening with my brother to walk a bit to late night store to buy some stuff. When we walked a bit there came a black lab, my neighbor`s dog. He welcomed us happily and followed us close by entire way to the store and back. He was by some chance outside his yard and ended up in mine but nevertheless he was very decent dog.

I talked with him a bit and he stood close by all the way .

When we returned , he went further in the darkness... I hope my neighbor did find him tomorrow or that he returned in his yard...

Meow Meow :naughty: My dad told me a story of a cat that would chase dogs. He told the owner of the dog to be careful you better put your dog on a lead there is a cat under that boat. Well the owners thoughts were the wrong way round "my dogs ok with cats" Well my father was warning the dog owner... The cat wasn't ok with dogs and gave the dogs nose a good shredding... The owner was shouting "Get your cat under control!" which my father replied with "Its not my cat"

There is a cat hanging around outside mine at the moment.. I think its been put outside by its owners and in this cold weather!! I think it must be spraying, I guess.
I have put some blankets in my wood store for it to sleep on and it has been going in there, it has made a nest. It scared the hell out of my sister the other night as she wasn't expecting a cat to be in there. I have put extra blankets in there now I its going in there... I cant believe people would lock their cat out in this snow.. I would leave some food out for it but I only eat vegetables. Its black and very shy. I hope to meet it soon, maybe I will meet it before I move..

Got him last friday, he was an "xmas reject" (His mother + a litter of kittens were saved by the local pet store, i basicly got him for free)

Unlike the other cats whom looked back and meow'd for their mother, this lil fella was like oi! you look cool! i wanna lick you! pat me!! So we got him :)

I've had a few cats before (one died to stomoch cancer, another my X wanted to keep as she was an outdoor cat and only wanted attention on her terms) but this one is incredible. He LOVES being around people, he loves attention, and he purr's nonstop. the only time he stops purring is when he is assleep.



I am also a cat person, dogs are a bit silly (in terms of them being loyal to the person whom abuses them) and i think they smell funny.


i posted the pic as a link as i just nuked my computer and havent put the software back on to resize it, its rather huge :naughty:

I love cats and we connect very well. I guess there is something about my nature that attracts a cat to become affectionate. They must be attracted to souls that are calm or something.

Meet Lyra The Cat :original:
Two years and two months ago she came alone to my door.
She was very young, frightened and in bad condition.
I decided she will living with me.
Than, a name for her come to my head, from nowhere - Lyra!
Some time ago, a medium-channel told me my origin is from Lyra...:shocked:
...and that the cat come to be my guide and to remind me about beauty and love. Wow!!!
I know she understand everything I think.

there is definitely something to the theory that people are either cat or dog. I'm sure there are a whole host of other animals but particulalry on a very base level there are dog and cat people.



of course the domestication of cats is led by notion that Cats chose to be domesticated, befriending humans in Africa and Egypt when civilization meant food supplies were scarce and more rich pickings in cities. How cat like is that! Cats chose humans.

Dont forget the old witches familiar tooo..........

Here is my cat,

He died 45 days short of his 16th birthday


The Crossing of My Cat / with helpers

This room, was lit only by sunlight, and, no over_head lights

There are at least three helpers in the crown/across the ears,
First look at the dark shadow with a head dress on -- that is his spirit guide/i've seen this being
Then, look down, at the nose / there is a being sitting in a pyramid shape
and, then, look across the top of the ears/in white--and, there is my higher self,
i actually; could NOT believe this, when his crossings was occuring...
also, i was NOT aware, that a friend who was here, assisting me, also, took some pics,
i'm glad she did/albeit, it really did pain my heart to see them/and, i suppose, it also provided
for me, some validation, that, i really am, seeing what, i know, i am seeing.
NOW, look into the ear, you can see some kind of Fey being, a Faere, with wings,
and, on his eye, you can see another group of helpers,
if you look, towards his back quarters, there is another helper, holding up a torch,
and, if you look towards the middle of him,
there are another group of helpers, feline/dragon/serpent energies
(some of them, are very good) anyway, i was NOT aware my
friend elaine, was taking photographs, however, it was pretty interesting what was
going on here & that it actually showed up in the pictures

He was a cat, that grew up around crystals,
even had, his own magical wand / actually that's my original wand from age 2

what was most amazing, at least for me,
was, my higher self, as, the cat was crossing,
flew off the cats crown, and, came into my third eye,
both of them, looked at me,
approx 6 hours later, it occured again,
and, the two of the, winked at me,
his eyes; and; the eyes of my higher self,
that, i had NEVER seen, in that detail before
my own angelic~elemental~ humanoid forms
albeit, i had seen my totem animals,
all the time;
and, then, they flew around me,
and, then, flew out of me,
and, went across the living room,
and, i saw the two of them,
take off, higher self, and, it was holding my cat...
this is an experience, i am likely NOT to forget,
PURRhaps, you see it too...

oh my god, what have i got myeslf into :lmao:

Went to the Vet yesturday for his first checkup, the vet says they rescued him, his mother + father from breeders that were mistreating them, he was coverd in fleas and was allmost choked by the flea collar he had on.

:mad3: (some people deserve the crulest deaths, i swear) :mad3:

Anyhoo..

Then the vet tells me..

By the way...

He's a Norwegian Forest Cat

He'll grow to be 10kg's, need to climb stuff or he'll get bored and shred your furnature, oh, and you'll have to walk him like a dog to get him good excersize

What a bunch of very beautiful cats and wonderful stories here. Sometimes the ones who just show up @ doorstep and choose us are the most amazing ones.

It`s funny but as some over here say that cats approach them, I have same situation with dogs :original:

Dogs are different but still I like cats too... my favorite are Jaguars and Lions...
And pooches are German Shepperd, Labs , St Bernard...

When I took a closer look, he was clutching a small amethyst crystal in his back leg! (I keep some small odd rocks on the railing of my back deck.) He had been clutching the purple shard in his leg the whole time! He let me remove it, and I told him he could have it if he really wanted it...that I'd put it back on the railing. I then told him to stay away because of the cats. Why in the world would a sparrow want my little crystal, and what did it all mean? My husband David is blown away, particularly because the bird let me carry him around. He has since flown away into the woods...(The bird, not David, ha ha.)

Skimming fast through the thread I wanted to bring something into your awareness; I was reminded of such when one of you mentioned his/her love for dogs.
