Simply choose a place to go to (I think places around 3 hours drive away are not too expensive/tiring to get to if you have to leave at night). Pack up suitcases with necessary items now - food, medicine, blankets, change of clothes, cash, can opener, etc. Service your car & keep it full of gas NOW so you can go if necessary. Hopefully, NOTHING WILL happen, but isn't it better to be prepared now, just in case? All I'm asking is that you prepare, don't leave today as you will just end up returning home a few days later. Really, servicing your car & packing a suitcase will not take long. Several events are converging in January 2009 and this Canadian news is just the latest event.

In two days the preparations I started making over 3 years ago will be finished. Since I expect something major to happen this next Sunday (though I don't know what), I am leaving the big city on Wednesday for the mountains 5 hours away with the assumption that it is quite possible that I will never return home. My preparations are such that I think that I could survive for at least 4 years without any other human contact. I hope it does not come to that, but that is the scenario I have prepared for.

If I am premature in leaving, I will return home and remain fully packed and ready to leave again at a moment's notice. The next critical time I foresee is 40 days after this next Sunday, which is the 23rd of January, quite close to the dates being bantered around in this thread. If I wind up returning this time, I will be monitoring events on the 16th of January very closely. Should the events on that day become significant, I will again leave for the mountains.

Waiting for a war to start may be the wrong option if the war involves a foreign power nuking our cities first. If that happens, it will be too late to leave the cities. Martial law, destroyed infrastructure, hungry mobs, etc may make it impossible to travel at all no matter how prepared you are.

Hello folks,

Well I think it is understandable when something that used to be an idea, the american union (Canada, US & Mexico) now becomes more concrete that people may panic. We must support them and not criticise.

There are people who are new to the forum and if they see what they are reading come true, it is possible they will panic. Lets just help them in practical ways. I guess the Canadians are still sleeping but there are now protesters about, hard to tell from the TV how many or where. But this is a very strange story indeed. When the president faced a no confidence vote, he gets to shut down the opposition and parliment, and it's all just there on TV. Now it seems the opposition leader will step down, wonder what they did to him?

For the more seasoned awoken we know that the details are not important, the hows and whats, either way we can't stop a lot of it but when its outside your door, as it will be, you will be surprised by how you may react. So together now folks, lets just stick together and spread the calm.

Big deep breaths.

love to all

Yup, got Colin Powells warning on that already.

I'm going to sit back and have a good laugh on that day, much like I did on October 14.

If one listens to the context of that entire statement with an objective mind, one can clearly see it is not a warning.

Indeed...Powell was prompted with that date by the interviewer to begin with and the context was clearly about the date of inauguration.

I've still yet to see any proof of the troop buildup either, on craigslist or anywhere else for that matter.

Canada is my home. The real people of this country are the most amazing people and good spirits. We have been attacked through lies, malicious deceit, poisons in the water and food, sideways deals all for the gain of the few over the many...it goes on (for to long :mad3:)

What these so called (Mis)leaders are is nothing more then evil. Working in the dark against their fellow man. Their time is up and they know it. Guess what people of the gov, you have been deceived and lied to. good luck.

Well there goes my unsubstantiated rumor right out the window that Canada reneged on the Security and Prosperity Partnership. :yikes:

Get ready and get prepared everyone, for the North American Union, that's what it sounds like to me. If they are going to force this through it seems there's not a whole lot we can do about it, unless we all do it together.

Re: Sh@! Hits the fan in canada

There is no mass deployment. We are stretched thin in Iraq and Afganistan. Recruiting is up because of this. I checked my old units and they are all deployed. In addition they are taking military cooks, paperpushers, etc from any branch of the military (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines), giving them rifles and sending them to Afganistan. This along with the stop-loss policy that extends enlistment indefinitely is killing our military... lterally.

Please stop spreading fear at the expense of our military. I have friends there and its bad. These guys want to come home... not to attack us, but to get a break from the military.

Show them respect and please support them. Spreading this disinformation is disrespectful to them and thier families. Have some compassion.

Re: Sh@! Hits the fan in canada

the fact that the spp recent developments will allow american troops to enter canada is not misinformation, nor is it disrespectful. american military were the security forces in canada at the last g8 summit in quebec. it seems hard to believe, but it has already happenned. the american dea also entered canada a couple of years ago and busted marc emery, a canadian citizen, in vancouver. our borders are more difficult for citizens of either nation, but invisible to military and american police.
sorry if the truth hurts, but there it is.

Thats where we differ. I dont see it as truth. Why would the US be able to perform a mass deployment if they cant even secure thier position in Afganistan? Where are these imaginary troops supposed to come from?

Why, since the troops are stressed and wanting to come home, wouldnt they leak the info or refuse to go? Put them on North American soil and I guarantee they walk across the border and catch a ride home.

Really. you give them no credit for being individuals and making up thier own minds to do what is right. You depict them as blind sheep doing whatever the commanders tell them to. It's easier to follow orders when you are halfway around the world. Its a different story when you can catch a ride home.

Canada may have some poliutical issues but beyond that its all up in the air.

Mass deployment is not possible right now.

Sidenote: Do you realize we pulled the entire 2nd division infantry out of Korea? And no, they did not get deployed to Canada. Our military is stretched to the breaking point. THAT is a fact.

oldpaganfreak 12-10-2008 11:57 PM

Re: Sh@! Hits the fan in canada

i never said anything about mass deployment. as far as i can see, no one mentioned a mass deployment of american troops in canada. we are mainly saying that the possibility exists, that due to a new development in the security and prosperity program , the NAU, a freee movement of trops across the border is possible, as deemed necessary by the ptb.
i don't know the answers to your questions, either sorry. and unfortunately, doing what their commanders tell them is what soldiers do. that's why they call them commanders.
it seems pretty obvious that if there is a shortage of troops for american miliutary commitments, that they will initiate the draft again. if that's the case, canada may no longer be safe for american draft dodgers as it was during the vietnam era. some dodgers from the iragui war have already been sent back by canada.
there WERE american troops for security in quebec last summer. there pictures were on the news.
i mean your troops dishonour. your own government already is doing a pretty good job of that.

Canada has a Prime Minister, not a President. I suggest that you are guessing wrong about whether Canadians 'are still sleeping.' Canada did not support, despite a lot of pressure, the US unilateral liberation of Iraq. Most of us saw no connection between 'Al Queda' and Saddam Hussein, even in 2003 - our leaders told GW so. I think France also has issues with Nicolas Sarkozy. At the time of the last election, I wondered if it was rigged too; he shouldn't have won it. Anyway, we all have our national messes.

So far, the Canadian mess is constitutional, just kind of unprecendented. Our PM (Prime Minister) shares your name: Harper.

As for troops, the only thing I noticed was my Inbox: a bunch of job listings for the Canadian Armed Forces, along with the weekly job listings bulletin a few days ago. I haven't seen that before. There were about 10 positions, communications and medical.

It's not a filibuster. We do have something going on here. It got out of hand so the Governor General 'prorogued' Parliament. (It's a new word we had to look up in the dictionary last week). Our PM sneaks off to sign SPP treaties with no national debate, discussion or referendum. [SPP=Security and Prosperity Partnership Agreement]

American Green Party: http://greenpages.wordpress.com/2007...ds-in-secrecy/

He's a control freak and bully. He runs a tight, stupid ship, but a lot of people like him. He called an election this year, despite forwarding legislation FOR fixed election dates. Kind of broke his own word/law - he sniffed a majority government and tried to oportunize.

http://www.ctv.ca/servlet/ArticleNew..._elexns_060526

Instead, the Conservative Party won another minority government and gained a few seats. Harper is called a tactician. He's got an MA in economics and has some sort of cabal as advisors.

I think our PM has his head up the Bu****es' a*s. It's all tied together with oil. Proof? Sorry, it's a hunch. Alberta has been a test case before. Enron was invited here by the Alberta provincial government during the time of energy deregulation ca 1999. The test was so successful, Enron went to California too.

http://www.bruderheim-rea.ca/Journal..._macdonald.htm

There are weird things going on with sneaky oil policy in Alberta. Even students are being shut down. "Canadian environmentalists attending the UN Climate Change Conference in Poland allege federal government officials had their group's display — meant to show the environmental damage caused by oilsands projects — taken down." This happened yesterday.

http://www.cbc.ca/canada/edmonton/st...onference.html

There are links between the Alberta cabal, the oil elite and this federal government. Warren Buffett and Bill Gates flew around the oilsands in a small plane this summer, taking a look.

http://www.canada.com/calgaryherald/...c-2f9ae2210a7d

I have more on this, but you can check that Alberta has had official provincial representives in Washington DC for years.

Raytheon has an office in Calgary, Alberta, I noticed lately.
http://www.raytheon.ca/SupportServices/RCSS_SSD.html

There was a big crisis earlier in the year re the sale of our satellite tech, RadarSat2 (mostly tax-based funded) being sold to a US weapons manufacturer ATK.

http://www.cbc.ca/canada/british-col...r.html?ref=rss

http://www.walrusmagazine.com/articl...michael-byers/

So that leaves the government in the position they're in. A vote of non-confidence in the House of Commons makes their minority government go away. Parliament resumes at the end of January 2009, so the Conservatives' fate is to be seen. A lot can happen between now and then. In the meantime, we do not have a sitting government.

Alberta is a prime region for a false flag attack I've thought. We have oil, water, trees for lumber. It's a f**king goldmine. Oh, Canada has those too, and diamonds, and uranium, and a melting Northwest Passage for transit by water. Why not invade? Darker forces probably think it's stupid not to take us. Maybe I'm paranoid.

I'm also in the Conservative heartland of Harper supporters, from supermarket to work to playground to school to university to parks to local newspapers. I'd leave... but my heart's in the land. I don't like the people much. It's a lonely slog, which after so many years is just life.

The fact a coalition formed last week is a good thing though - a lively, democratic thing.

So, conspiracy? I don't know.

wow, no caste...that's a pretty impressive bit.
i live in alberta, too and don't at all like the control the oil patch has over our lives.
i live in the woods and, according to alberta environmental law, my outhouse is illegal. (not just mine, but any outdoor toilet without a plastic liner), while the oilsands have toxic tailings ponds leaking into the aquifers.
i don't like the direction that this is all going.

Thanks, oldpaganfreak. Don't get me going on the weather weapons around here.... I go 'pop' with some topics.

FYI World renowned scientist Dr. Rosalie Bertell confirms that "US military scientists ... are working on weather systems as a potential weapon. The methods include the enhancing of storms and the diverting of vapor rivers in the Earth's atmosphere to produce targeted droughts or floods." (2) Already in the 1970s, former National Security advisor Zbigniew Brzezinski had foreseen in his book "Between Two Ages" that:

http://www.globalresearch.ca/articles/CHO201A.html

And chemstorms. Do you have any where you are?

It's funny what you said about your outhouse. So true! The scale of certain things is skewed so strangely. Like the auto bailout in the US, blame the workers for the auto industry's collapse, not the private jets and management... I guess the provincial government can find you, but the other guys at the top are elusive, pay well and have the means to disappear and appear - leave the tailings ponds behind for taxpayers to clean.

It's really quite the ingenious system.
