A Royal Navy nuclear submarine has collided with a French vessel in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, according to reports. Skip related content
Related photos / videos Nuclear sub 'in Atlantic collision' The crash between HMS Vanguard and French submarine Le Triomphant, which was also carrying nuclear warheads, is believed to have occurred on February 3 or 4.

Despite being equipped with sonar to detect other vessels, neither submarine apparently realised the other was in the same part of the ocean.

Yeah good posting Seth;it goes to show how clandestine the M.O.D. is concerning it's submarine whereabouts at any given time-trying to avoid an embarrassment?

There's been two collisions this week. The Satellites the other day and now this.

Are these just coincidences??

Usual dramatisation. Most footage you get on those videos have nothing to do in time and space with what is being reported.
I've seen that particular missile launch about 200 times.

Didn't it say this collision happened earlier this month?

The sub collision was more likely friendly war games tracking each other.
