Yeah, as a geologist i'm fully aware of all P.tectonic theories subduction zones,constructive/destructive plate margins etcetera-as for the galactic plane well,i'm inclined to agree that cosmologically speaking 4 years is nothing in distance so in theory we should be and probably have been on the plane for some years and will be some years to come bearing in mind the size of the galaxy relative to the speed the solar system moves around the galaxy.Unless there is some energy form that is so specifically focused on a miniscule plane on dead centre,which would last days,weeks,months a few years?
