Default Re: Roses Are Red, Lipstick (Still) Has Lead

Here's an interesting link that addresses "Body Burden". http://www.chemicalbodyburden.org/whatisbb.htm

As many of you on this site know the world is awash with toxic chemicals so it's no surprise that lead has been found in lipstick. Even worse what synthetic chemicals does it contain? Wherever scientists look in the world they are increasingly finding disturbing and unequivocal evidence of the havoc caused to people, animals and the environment by man made chemicals. New chemicals are being introduced at an alarming rate with little or no testing and only a few of the estimated 100,000 plus in use are regulated by law. Even worse no research has been undertaken as to how these chemicals may interact with each other once they are present in the body. It seems probable that each and every one of us is a toxic time bomb! It makes sense to keep things simple and either eradicate products from our lives that we don't need or seek out safer alternatives
