Just because we are nuked doesn't mean we will all die. I wonder if I want to be "saved". "Saved" where? Saved to be in an alien zoo somewhere? Saved to be a slave to whoever saved me? Saved to be a food/blood/hormone/egg/sperm source like a cow? And I wonder how those chosen few will be selected. If I was making selections I would only take kids. They are smaller, eat less, have fewer environmental exposures to toxic substances, easer to control and less violent. How would you feel if the race was saved by an alien taking your kids and leaving you to die?
