Yesterday was a strange day for me, too. I did a concrete countertop workshop, and one of the participants was exceedingly helpful, including "choosing me for his team" and noticing things like the fact that I was having trouble separating a plastic chair from its stack, and helping me learn how to trowel concrete.

Nothing overtly male/female - I probably am about 30 years older than he is, and am not particularly a "helpless female" -

Also, there's been a shift, in that the house is FINALLY started.
