Maybe the top of the pyramid is the ego?

Well, I guess it is if we are talking about the problem within or outside of us... maybe though, if we correct the problem within us, and 'find the truth that will make us free', the outer pyramid of the bad guys will quickly fall on itself like the tower of babel in the ancient of days...
