Why is there so much fear? While I have little interest in group meditation I still think it is a wonderful idea. It would be a pity if someones belief system interfered and prevented the very thing you seek to prevent in the first place!
In my experience, so many people use the things like "psychic attack" "dark entities" and "attachments" as little more than instruments of blame, a way of blaming their shortcomings on something else, particularly with New Age philosophies. (I'm not saying they don't exist)
Like attracts like, if you live in fear and darkness, this is what you will attract. If your heart is pure and your intention is for the highest good, you have nothing to fear.
As Anchor said,
I am sure that you know there are many many powerful and loving beings who love us, guide us and protect us more than we can ever know - its all there for the asking.
