I think the numerical identification process is an excellent idea and the research in this field can be beneficial. I would however caution anyone interested in getting genetic testing done for hereditary disorders to be careful. Insurance companies are already on this bandwagon and are customizing coverage for individuals with higher risks resulting in no coverage for the conditions or outrageous premiums.
