UPDATE:
The protest give or take had approximately 100-150 persons listening to the speaker's presentations on the steps of the Art Gallery on Robson Street in Vancouver BC....with numerous bystanders...people passing by to take a look at the materials on the table and to sign a couple of petitions which will be presented to the Canadian Parliament in Ottawa, Ontario.
Everything was well presented by the speakers although I did not stay around for the planned march over to the CBC building a couple of blocks away.......
One speaker Joel Lord mentioned that Vancouver has the honorary distinction of kicking off the protests across Canada and the United States. Apparently Ottawa and New York will be hosting big events in a similar fashion.
