I bet I dont wait any longer than anyone in the U.S. And if I did have to wait an extra hour, I would be gladly willing to because it's free!
The government and corporations make vast sums of money and they can easily afford this. It's true that in Canada we are taxed a little more, but it's worth it! Everyone I know in Canada agrees with me. The only ones who dont are the health insurance lobbyists that want to oppose it. Those are the people that get all the press.
The U.S. has the most expensive health care system in the World. Although I'm not a communist, even Cuba has a better health care system than the U.S. They have a better health care system than Canada. In Canada you still have to pay an arm and a leg for medication. In Cuba, the prices are 1% of what they are here for meds. In England, you only pay 6 pounds for any prescription med. Any medication. Whether it's Aspirin or AIDS meds (which I am told cost thousands per month in North America).
I think the people on this thread have been manipulated by the U.S. media to reject universal health care, not knowing how good it would be for them.

Come back after you read this bill and tell me this. It is NOT a good thing and it never will be
We wouldn't need their medication if they would just stop putting all the poison in our food and skies and the fake medication they feed us now.
Aids- man made H1N1-man made. our drugs do nothing to cure or heal any of us...........it is adding to the problem, in fact it causes the problems.
Please read up what is in the bill and truly understand what this is about.
