Thanks lindabaker, and your right there sure are a lot of real gems here, as you say both the knowledge and the people.
Actually I just took a week off from the internet, and don't have a radio or tv, so I forgot that the swine flu even existed until I plugged back in.
I'll be sticking around for sure, but I think its a great idea to take long breathers now and then, to help sort out all that junk mail as they say.

btw, one thing I love about Avalon is people here don't seem to judge based on post count or how long we have been members. I've been to other forums where people get the "omg n00b, you only have 10 posts so your wrong." treatment.
It's that damn authority thing again.
