John McCain's virtually unprecedented campaign suspension seemed at first glance to be political maneuvering inspired by slipping poll numbers, but with a more speculative inspection, one begins to wonder: Was he testing the water?
Of course this is speculation, but regardless, the "they" now have a gauge on the public reaction to a presidential candidate suspending his campaign under the guise of "what's best for the country". Here's the C2C and Jim Marrs take.
