So there you have it: forewarned is forearmed. If a spaceship does appear next Tuesday (and I am NOT holding my breath), be prepared to doubt the evidence you are seeing.
Our current scenario is not unlike the 1840s, when religious fervor ran like water, and people were preparing for the expected Second Coming of Christ in 1844. It was crazy: preachers getting rich, folks giving away all their things and retiring to mountaintops. In New York, the big department stores all had "Ascension Robes" displayed in their windows. In Germany, a group sold their belongings, moved to Mt. Carmel in Palestine, and built a small community to welcome the Messiah when he returned (that's where they thought He'd touch down).
There were even signs in the heavens. The Leonids were incredible - people could read by the light of millions of falling stars. The event is still remembered in the song, "Stars Fell On Alabama." And yet, 1844 came and went, and nothing happened that anyone noticed...actually, a case has been made that the Christ did reappear and live among men until 1893...but that's another story.
So October 7 has come and gone...October 14 will, too. I predict there is no Project Bluebeam, and we will not see a spaceship. What all this is doing is distracting us from the very, very real effects of our corrupt government on our daily lives and our prospects for a decent future. All the speculation is interesting, but we should not allow it to dominate our focus. Ask yourself who benefits from this confusion.
I am not saying that intergalactic or interdimensional beings don't exist. I feel rather sure that they do. I am saying that we've got more immediate concerns than whether they're going to step up and shake our hands on a particular date.
