He and his partner have built a beautiful retreat in the Mountains overlooking Vilcabamba called "Montesuenos" where there are planned many interesting spiritual experiences in the future. Dr O'Leary is a scientist and has a great interest in the generation of new free non polluting energies. Ecuador is a very interesting place and Others like George Green have expressed interest in moving here. Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself.
Well, nice to meet you. Brian is our neighbour and we have also been in contact with George; and others. We moved to the area several years before them and many others who have recently arrived in the latest wave. Our work/projects is several years ahead and I can tell you that eventhough we have accomplished quite a bit; there is always so much more to do. Even with several millions EUR at ones disposal the headache of starting from 0 with anything less than 3-4 years (14-16 hour days/7 days a week for the most part) for a dozen people given the parameters of what is to come as discussed on this group. There is no way I personally would go through it again. However joining others (There are a lot of groups and options) would exponentially increase everyone's preparedeness/success and better life quality given them tine to fine tune and build upon work already done)

I mean many people who write do not even have IC living experience, or gardening, or animal husbandry, construction, carpentry, conflict resolution, consensus/democratic processes etc. to name a few and many just know one area. Trust me in actual experience it is alot more challenging that in written or paper; especially if you have not live abroad;in IC's, rurally, know the culture, language, can adapt to the food, create local immunity/get used to, etc. etc. All of it takes time, effort, energy and realistically speaking shoud be accounted for. Just wanting to share my mistakes so other's do not have to go through them.

Blessings in light,

Apollo
