It’s more like doing triage with this world so no it’s not like adios. And you’re quite right for me it’s being in my own experience trying to sift through the propaganda to get to my own perception. But even our language has been manipulated, not to mention all culture. Timothy Leary was a CIA operative thats been declared. The Beatles being pushed to bring about eastern philosophy, Blavatsky and the theosophical society with socialism, communism, new age, etc...
I’m no expert but it is easy for me to see energy being diverted from someone who experiences this matrix and throws it to a fantasy land of esoteric stuff that is quite fascinating but there really is no hard foundation to it, no real answer just a labyrinth/orobourus.

Not to say I have the answers but when I experience the matrix I am taking steps to combat it within my being and surroundings I am not putting it into a meticulous fantasy land to feel better about myself. Unfortunately this problem is a pandemic within truth seekers, but I believe progress is being made.
