Dear 777 et. al.,
I am confused by this statement of enlightenment
coming from the right hemisphere of the brain. It is my understanding that enlightenment does not come from anywhere.
Furthermore, studies done on practitioners of meditation have shown increased activity in the
left prefrontal cortex of the brain. This area is associated with positive feelings and as such this area is also one of the places in the brain that shows high levels of decreased activity in depressed people.
Ironically, the right prefrontal cortex of the brain is associated with so called "negative" feelings.
