Wow, unbelievable price...is this the lowest it will go?

Should we expect to see greater discounts after the first of the year (before hyperinflation?), when retail stores realize that the holiday shoppers did not save them?

I think the price may be an online price, showed up in my email, good til 12/11/2009. (And I don't know if the retail price is already inflated to make it appear as though 50% Off is a good price or if Craftsman tools are still made in the US or in China.)
