I would appreciate input from my fellow Avalonians

Greetings to all:

I recently pulled all of my investments out of the stock market. It seems I waited too long as I've lost half of my investments. I want to order gold and silver from Kitco and heard that some of the gold that is being sold as ligitimate isn't and that even the seller doesn't realize it. I don't have that kind of money to spend on something that is faux.

Do any of you have experience with Kitco or another site? I haven't been able to find any significant amounts locally. Most jewelers don't want to be bothered with it. Banks haven't been any help either. I do not want a piece of paper that is a certificate for the gold. I want the gold in hand.

I would greatly appreciate any input; info that any of you may have.
